also i will always be thinking about this day from g'raha's perspective, like his excited little sprint down to the gate to meet fiver only to find a fiver that has changed dramatically from last time he saw him and is currently looking at him like he's got two seconds to explain himself Or Else

#the idea of the scions being too close to fiver to be able to notice him breaking over time #whereas g'raha wasn't there and just gets to see the sudden change #and that being a big reason of why he's so kind to fiver while he's here bc he knows he's just making it worse #will always be compelling to me #fiver was good at hiding how much he was falling apart to the scions bc it was slow and they were always near him so they just didn't notic #g'raha was going off his own memories of fiver and stories that people told over the centuries #and of course the legends would just focus on him being this larger than life hero whos always there and always strong and etc etc #so it must have been obvious to him to see it #and probably absolutely gutting as well #knowing what *he* was about to do to fiver #fel's ffxiv #shadowbringers lb #oc: fiver
