Hey! Could I have a kin matchup for DR1, DRV3, YTTD, and if possible, BNHA? I'm an ESFP, can be loud but also quiet! I'm very sensitive, and I care a lot about my friends and things that are important to me! I tend to talk a lot about stuff I'm interested in, but I'm always afraid that I'm bothering people. wow! that was... i don’t want to say that that was a lot, but it was... don’t feel bad, that’s not a negative thing! i just wasn’t expecting to see so much, hehe. the hunter x hunter matches will be kept in the minor section, since i’m not too familiar with it(i’m also not super familiar with bnha...) sorry about that, anon!

first off, from boku no hero academia, i match you with...

ochaco uraraka!

uraraka came to my mind really quickly, from my limited knowledge of bnha, lol- this one may be a bit shorter, since i’m not super familiar with the show! however, she does seem extroverted, if a bit reserved- she strikes a nice balance between peaceful and upbeat, if that makes sense! while uraraka does try to be positive and optimistic, she can have exaggerated reactions to things, making her come off as more sensitive or emotional. she cares a lot about her family, as well as iida and izuku, or pretty much any of her close friends. she holds that (found or otherwise) family and being a hero very close to her, and like you said, these two things are very important to you! technically, her friends can be considered an interest of hers, or at least something she cherishes- a lot of what makes uraraka... uraraka, is that she’s good at reading people like tsuyu, despite their exteriors, and will try her best to lend a hand to anyone that needs it. she can be a bit nervous that she’s bothering others, i think, but mostly tries to push that aside and focus on her pursuits in happiness- for herself and others! she seems alright with crowds and being around people, but would definitely get worn out if there was too much to keep up with.

she is a bit self deprecating- not openly, but she does have this air of “i’m not as good as you” if that makes sense? but she is trying to improve herself as a person all the time, i think! she’s a chaotic mom friend. uraraka can also get jealous in ways, as she’s a bit stingy with money due to her upbringing, and it’s not exactly easy, but she does develop a crush on izuku. that low self esteem can make her cynical in terms of romance, though. she’d absolutely die for those she cares about. she can be a little awkward talking to her classmates at times, but tries her best and warms up to them pretty quickly! she’s also very polite to her superiors, and she’s polite to almost everyone. however, in certain situations (like being against the villains, or in competition) she can get genuinely angry and rather serious. though you may be a bit less composed than uraraka, the two of you do... definitely have your moments, haha.

second off, from danganronpa, i match you with...

makoto naegi!

okay, i went back and forth on makoto and tenko for a bit- but makoto won out! while he’s a bit more introverted than you seem, makoto is a bit quiet most of the time, but can speak up in times like the kg when it’s necessary. he can definitely be sensitive, though i don’t blame him for being so- death is happening constantly in danganronpa. he cares about the people around him a lot, i’d agree, to the point where he’s widely known as being so nice that it’s suspicious. while he doesn’t seem to talk extensively about interests of his, i’d argue that that’s because he either doesn’t have any or feels like he doesn’t. however, i’d agree that he is rather self conscious, especially of his luck. i don’t really have specific proof that he doesn’t like or does like crowds, but... like, he has that vibe. he can definitely be self deprecating, though makoto is more focused on his goals and the hope/people around him to openly talk about it. i’d imagine that him defeating junko has also boosted his self esteem a bit. he’s a chaotic mom friend- he’s good at cheering up others, but not great at being silly or having fun. like... on that chart of “MCDONALDS! MCDONALDS!” versus “we have food at home” versus “(pulls into the drive-thru, orders one black coffee, leaves)” he’s learning towards the we have food at home option.

while i’m not sure if makoto gets crushes easily, he does have at least three(kirigiri, junko and sayaka) that are canon(though sayaka is strongly implied instead of canon), and he’s part of dozens of ships. he is a bit cynical in his ‘dreams’ however, as he doesn’t really believe he’s worthy of hope’s peak due to his talent, and in romance i think he has a hard time believing his crush is mutual- or that he even has one. he would definitely give up his life for those close to him. he can definitely be awkward around people like byakuya or kyoko if they’re not willing to lead the conversation, and is polite to elders like the future foundation members, and technically yasuhiro. he may be a less short tempered than you, but he can get frustrated rather frustrated if someone else is refusing to listen to him- especially in trials.

finally, from your turn to die, i match you with...

nao egokoro!

right off the bat, i’d definitely agree that nao can range from loud to quiet- she’s very sensitive, and a little jumpy, not trying to hide her reactions to the death game like some of the other candidates. she definitely cares about her friends, mishima is practically a father to her- and while not all of her talk revolves around art, it’s clear that she has a strong interest in it. plus, she in general speaks her mind very often, and doesn’t hide a lot of the rest of the group. while she doesn’t seem too worried about bothering others, she can definitely be conscious of herself. she seems alright with being in a group of the death game participants, but can get overwhelmed by too many people talking at once! i wouldn’t be surprised if you can relate to that. she doesn’t seem too self deprecating, but can get stuck in her own head and what she perceives as what she did wrong, though she does work on it more after the mishima arc! she has more aunt vibes than mom vibes, but it still works!

while nao doesn’t exactly get jealous, she can be very defensive when it comes to people like mishima, as shown in the manga when keiji has him in a headlock and she... well, smacks him in the back of the head. she’s definitely a dreamer, i’d say that her being an artist in general comes with that- she has a strong sense of imagery, as she can distinguish the individual flaps of a bird’s wings. we don’t know too much about her love life, but i mean, have you seen her and reko... also, she can definitely be cynical, as i’m sure that if anyone tried to pair her with someone else... she’d just be defensive about it. she would definitely die for those she cares about, cough cough second trial, cough cough. she is initially timid at the beginning of the game, though mishima especially helps her come out of her shell, and she can warm up to people rather quickly. she’s also very respectful towards him in general. lastly, as part of her being rather sensitive and emotional, she can get upset and frustrated rather easily- this is shown in the posthumous effect of mishima.

minor matchups time! from dr, you remind me very strongly of tenko chabashira, somewhat of sayaka maizono and gonta gokuhara, and a bit of kiyotaka ishimaru and kaede akamatsu! from yttd, you also remind me pretty strongly of gin ibushi, reko yabusame and sara chidouin, as well as a little of kazumi mishima! from bnha, you also remind me strongly of denki kaminari, and somewhat of izuku midoriya and eijiro kirishima! lastly, from hxh, you remind me strongly of killua zoldyck, and a bit of kahra!

tbh my little sister is an ok kid- she’s nicer than a lot of kids I know (probably because my mom is super strict when it comes to manners and being kind/polite to others) and is super adorable at times. But, like everyone else, she has her bratty moments XD She has a bad habit of sulking sometimes over little things and then she just starts whining in a way that completely drains anyone who has to listen to her. She also refuses to compromise when she’s sulking so. Yeah. Really frustrating LOL

My parents actually bought the books for me because they were interested in reading the series too, but idk.

I recently realized that FMA has a lot of Rising Sun Flag designs in it, and that’s considered offensive over here (probably in China too) because it’s associated with Japanese Imperialism (which was pretty ugly). Not sure why it was used in FMA because FMA seems to be all against war and violence, but I guess the artist, like most Japanese people, just doesn’t know what the Rising Sun Flag is associated with in other countries…

I talked about my mom with it and she’s fine with me reading FMA as long as I know what I’m doing, but I don’t think she’ll really want to read it herself anymore.

Ok that looks horrible for my feelings. I love it. I’ll have to find a way to watch that over here! :D

I think one of the problems is that sometimes writers are so desperate to make ‘strong’, ‘likable’ characters that they overdo it…

Yep, Killua is the cutie with the fluffy white hair! :) He’s not my favorite out of the main four (that’s either Gon or Leorio), but he’s pretty good. Killua is the youngest, most talented Zoldyck kid who’s probably going to be chosen as the heir once his parents die, but he doesn’t want to. The thing that makes Killua different from Illumi and his other siblings is that he hates his training and really doesn’t want to grow up to be an assassin, and that’s why he ran away from home at the start of the series.

(then of course his mother sent Illumi to pick him up, and Illumi’s all like “Why did you run away from home?“ then it’s basically

Kilua: “Because I didn’t want to stay and I have other stuff I want to do. Like, hopes and dreams, things I want to achieve in life, you know?”

I’m not sure if it was changed for the translation or before the publication. In the anime and in the manga I’ve read, he was tied around that huge stone.

All this talk about HxH is making me wanna watch it, but it has more than 140 episodes and I’m really not the person for long anime (which is rich, considering I’ve watched all Fairy Tail episodes, and there’ like 277 of those. First and last time I watched something like that). I feel so sorry for Killua ;-; He seems like a cinnamon roll and cinnamon rolls never deserve treatment like that… Why can’t he be happy??

Tbh, it kinda makes sense to me for Illumi to be the most messed up one, since he’s the oldest and has been under their influence for the longest, not to mention parents tend to be hardest on their oldest kids, but still. YEEEE I AM SO EXCITED!!! Omg, but I need to tell you about my dream that I had the night after watching the trailer. So my family is having some kind of Christmas gathering and I come downstairs to greet everyone and boom! There, on the couch, sitting next to my sister and explaining the process of making a movie, is Tom Hiddleston. Apparently, he was my really distant cousin?? Which made me really confused?? And I wanted to ask him a few questions about Ragnarok, but I was too damn shy, even though my sister had right about 0 problems talking to him,  and I was quite jealous actually =3=  According to my dream, they had to climb up some mountain by themselves to film it.  It was McFreaking weird.

But still TT^TT HIS FABULOUS HAIR!! I’ll never get over it….

Iron Man 2 is on! Well, I’m not watching it anymore XD I’m not gonna see the last 30 mins, cause i’m switching the channel, since Sherlock (the TV show) begins shortly. I’ll probably watch the rest of Iron Man some other day ^^
