#the hungarian dub is a mess but so am i

The hungarian dub of bakugan is such a weird thing because it uses both the japanese and english versions to create it's own mess. Lines are completely changed, scenes lose context, characters keep saying odd bs... it's got everything! Some scenes even have editing errors,

such as:

> entire scenes being left in japanese/english

> characters talking even after the scene ended, cutting into the next one's dialouge

> istg they just took the soundtrack and randomly shuffled it at some points

It does have some great moments though:

> Masquerade's voice fits him like a glove

> Masq's voice acting is beyond perfect

> Marucho doesn't sound whiny

> Drago sounds like a divorced dad and I find it funny

> Shadow has the same voiceactor as Naruto like, literally the same range as well, you can't unhear it

> Spectra is trying real hard to sound edgy in the first half of S2

> Helios has a normal voice. A naturally deep one. Didn't know he could do that

He took masses of my sketches and stories gave them to his sons to get into top Universities in London, including my thesis from my BA UEL..rubbed out lots of the lines of some of my drawings and gave them to his other son to take to FINCHLEY HIGH SCHOOL London as his own work..

Abdul Upperthorpe Syrian and wife Neseria..- his other wife needed clothes,/ so he stole a 72 yr old's very traditional-dressers clothes?// that is what we at lab put into his brain -to tell all the Syrians of Sheffield- he sold my silk blouses /Manchester 3 s/h for £10 shop near bus station folks.. is where I get them from/ and my paintings and all the rest? new underpants.. etc We cue them to steal for us, so we have to support them afterwards for robbing and looting and sometimes destroying sketches.. One of their people put little fuzzy blotches onto bottoms etc on a life drawing ink sketch..

Stuttgart has a Human Research /they come here/ and Nurnberg.. Used to be in Auschwitz camp 5 and Belsen etc..

We had truly believed in British democracy, honour etc. I more so than my parents, having been reared in C of E schools and mixed with the English totally.. when flying to Beijing to teach, I bought a large pack of felt tips at Amsterdam Airport /stop over, my favourite route with KLM / These proved invaluable. Cold rooms, on days off, sitting in bed in the morning scribbling like this provided hours of enjoyment if not exactly art work. Found same when I got home /rarely have C.H. so tend to stay in bed later now adays/ till one of the thieves in my home over 2016 stole them /lab watching my home in case I give out info they don't want giving out: macrosound: it was Suleiman /Upperthorpe/ at the back of my home. Bought some more here but not the same quality as those Dutch ones! Love drawing in bed in the mornings, not art work, but warm and can scribble happily..if meaninglessly!

I watched the hungarian dub of Bakugan when I was little (Yes, I'm hungarian) and one thing bothers me to this day about it;

Skyress' voice

She is voiced by a man. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but she is the only female character to be voiced by one. The studio that made the dub specifically cut out/censured parts of other animes, for example Naruto, where they simply cut out the fact that Haku isn't a girl. It's safe assume they aren't very keen on cross-voicing

What confused me as a kid was that they gave her a feminine voice only when she's in her ball form. When she fights Harpus, she calls her names like grandma, mother-hen, older sister, etc. But that could be chalked up to her teasing Skyress.

The hungarian language also doesn't have gendered pronouns, so it's basically impossible to know their intentions at this point.
