I’ve never done one of these before! Thank you for tagging me! :D I like talking about my writing and am very indecisive, so this ended up a little longer than intended...

your name: My pen name is VTsuion (though for a little while I tried out Camille V. Watson when I thought I was going to be doing more original fiction). The V represents my real name and Tsuion is the last name that a friend suggested for my first OC way back in middle school, and somehow it just stuck.

fandoms you write for: These days, mostly Star Trek: The Original Series and the associated movies (sorry, no AOS), but my first love is the original Sherlock Holmes stories, and I will always come back to them. I’ve also been watching sports anime recently and am currently rewatching Kuroko’s Basketball, so there may be some of that brewing… Generally, anything I read/watch is fair game, but I do have favorites.

where you post: These days, mostly Archive of Our Own, Tumblr, of course, and I do still post on FanFiction.net, where my unpolished oldest writing lives.

most popular one shot: I wasn’t sure whether to measure popularity by hits or kudos, so I did both: the most viewed is A Hidden Personal Thing - Kirk and Spock mindmeld for the first time after “Dagger of the Mind” - and the most well-liked is The Language of Chess - Spock and Kirk flirt using the Vulcan language of chess.

most popular multi-chapter story: Murder and a Family Reunited - my ancient messy crossover between BBC’s Sherlock and Harry Potter - will probably always be my most well-read story by a long shot. Of the things I’ve written recently, For a Stranger - my first stab at Spock getting his memory back after “Search for Spock” - and A Prince Comes Upon a Tower in the Woods - Kirk is a prince who rescues Spock, a cursed knight, from a tower - are tied for most well-liked.

favorite story you’ve written: If I absolutely had to give one, I’d probably say Violin in the Middle of the Night - Watson wakes up from a nightmare to hear Holmes playing the violin - because it gave me a chance to do some pretty writing, and I think it works. I also think my silly crossovers - Spock in Wonderland, Millennium Deathnote (Yugioh and Death Note), and Stars (Star Trek vs. Star Wars) - deserve a shout-out just because they were so much fun to write.

story you were nervous to post: The story I’m most nervous to post is actually one I haven’t posted yet about Kirk and Spock undergoing pon farr together. No one actually has sex, but it has a lot of questionable consent just because of the nature of pon farr, and it’s the closest I get to addressing sex in any of my stories. I’m also not sure about the ending, so it may have to undergo some editing before I post it… Of my stories that are actually up, I was probably most nervous to post I-Chaya - pure Kirk/Spock fluff - because it was the first real fluff that I wrote. I was also a little nervous about Human, Vulcan, and Everything in Between because it reflects a headcanon that I have a lot of feelings about and isn’t very common (Spock is asexual, Kirk is polyamorous, and they make it work).

how do you choose titles: Sometimes the title will just come to me as part of the story. Otherwise, I try to take as much from the source material as I can, including titles, because I have a hard time coming up with additional details outside of the key premise of what I’m writing. I also like using song titles. If there isn’t anything obvious, I think of something, usually simple, short, and descriptive.

do you outline: On the bottom of the page, after all my longer stories, is an often multi-page outline detailing the planned events, character arcs, etc… Though things do often change as I write them.

how many of your stories are complete: 57 works are listed as complete on AO3, an additional 15 older stories have only been posted on FanFiction.net. I also have a significant backlog of 13 stories waiting to be posted, including the two that are coming out now (I don’t start posting anything until it’s completely done), plus one essay.

how many of your stories are in progress: I mostly just work on one story at a time, since otherwise I get overwhelmed by the amount of things I could be working on at any given moment. However, there are 8 more stories that I’ve started, but have been temporarily put on hold, not to mention all the stories in various stages of incompleteness that I don’t have any plans of getting back to (including 6 stories listed as in progress on FanFiction.net that were last updated before 2013). There are also 3 series of shorts that are essentially complete as they are, but that I could always add to. Really, most of my stories could gain an extra chapter/sequel if I thought of something or received a prompt for it.

coming soon: Since I post on a schedule with a backlog, I actually have things planned for months to come. One of the stories I’m currently posting, We Know That We Need, But Not What - Kirk and Spock sort out their relationship after The Motion Picture - has a sequel set on a planet with empathic plants which I’ll start posting pretty much as soon as the first installment is done (it’s already been written). My next major project, which I’m currently finishing up writing, is Generations - Kirk survives Star Trek: Generations, hangs out with the crew of The Next Generation, reunites with Spock, and makes a life for himself in the 24th century.

do you accept prompts: Yes! That’s actually one of the reasons I started this blog, though I’ve been keeping pretty busy with my own ideas. If there’s anything you want me to write, please send in an ask! Questions are also appreciated!

upcoming story you’re most excited to write: I’ve been a little bit all over the place lately. Until a few days ago, I was raring to get back to writing To the Stars and Back Again - Kirk is an astronaut, Spock is a NASA scientist, and they figure out romance amidst the space race in the 1960’s. But I’ve been rewatching Kuroko’s Basketball and I got a sudden urge to reread @umisabaku’s Designation: Miracle and after that I really want to write a short Midorima/Takao fic in that universe, so that’s what I’ve been thinking about for the past few days. There are also some Sherlock Holmes things that have been on my mind for a while that I’ll get to eventually...

I'm named after a character on the soap opera The Young And the Restless. My name was going to either be Rebekah or Rhiannon, but my dad didn't like those. So, they picked the name that I have because my mom was watching TYATR when she went into labor.

When was the last time you cried?

I can honestly say that I don't remember. Probably last week? Maybe?

Do you have kids?

Green or Hazel. Mostly green. Especially when I'm sick, though, they turn Hazel when I'm upset.

Scary movie. Fuck chick flicks (except for a few).

I can burp on command like a classy broad.

I also know a LOT about Forensic Science and serial killers. I can tell you almost anything and everything about almost every serial killer. However, I CAN tell you anything and everything about Ted Bundy. I'm a walking encyclopedia on him. I've studied serial killers, mostly Ted, for over 15 years now...Probably closer to 16, actually.

Studying the minds and crimes of serial killers - obviously, I love listening to music, watching movies and some TV shows, and I like reading.

In the house, we have 3 dogs; 2 cats and a 1 bird. The 3 dogs are mine, though. I just share them with my family lol Except the one, she's both mine and my brother's.

What sports do you play/have you played?

I hate sports. Almost joined a soccer team as a kid, but decided not to. I did, however, want to play Rugby in high school because I'm a small ball of fury XD buuuut I can't play any contact sports, even with bodyguard.

How tall are you?

Dream job?

Working as a Forensic Psychologist in a jail, evaluating prisoners to see if they stand fit for trial (like Alexis). Though, that one is far fetched from reality.

I would love to have my own blog where I write about my every day struggles with my Major Depressive Disorder, ADHD, Anxiety and Panic Disorder, and Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). And I would also love to help people who have the same issues, or if they just need to talk.

However, until I get my Bachelor of Science in Psychology, I will let them know that I am in no way a professional; that it's just my experiences, what I've learned about my mental disorders, how I cope with them, and urge people to get professional help. Because I can't legally help anyone, even with a Bachelor's degree, there's only so much I can do. But I could at least educate people more and broaden my blogs topics.

Favorite subject at school?

Anything science. Though I took Science Fiction my last year in school. SciFi class was just an English class that was branched off for Seniors. They had Mythology too, but I'm a fucking nerd so XD

In the class we would discuss the rules of scifi (like how robots DO NOT have feelings like humans. They aren't built to have them, they're just machines), we would watch a bunch of old SciFi things like The Time Machine; Star Trek OG episodes; The Twilight Zone; and those old "what to do when..." videos from the 40s and 50s when nuclear war was a huge fear. They were pretty fucking funny XD one boy just pushed his younger sister down into the hole of the bunker before he climbed in by using the ladder. After we watched those, we would have to write a 3 paragraph essay on them, based off of questions the teacher asked.

It was a fun class to say the least. And the teacher, Mr. Hendricks, was awesome.

Half Done

Pairing: modern!Enjolras x reader

Summary: The reader is Grantaire’s sister, her and Enjolras try to hide their relationship

Requested: Yes

There was a knock at the door and Enjolras felt a smile rise to his face as he dropped the book in his hands and rushed to the front door, opening it and beaming at the woman on the other side.

“Hey,” she smiles, moving forwards to hug him. Enjolras breathed in deeply, allowing the smell of her to fill his nose.

“Hey,”

“I missed you,” she whispers, and Enjolras responds by squeezing her tighter and placing a kiss on the top of her head.

“I missed you too,” he tells her, slowly leading her through the halls of his apartment to his room. They run into Combeferre on their way past, but he just rolls his eyes at them a little bit, half asleep, before heading past them into the kitchen to get a glass of water. “You’re later than usual,” Enjolras points out as he sits on his bed and watches as she goes through his closet, picking out her favourite one of his red hoodies. It was one that Enjolras always made sure to be at the top of the pile, ready for his girlfriend’s next visit.

“Taire wouldn’t go to bed,” Y/N tells Enjolras somewhat apologetically as she changes into his clothes.

He holds his arms out and Y/N eagerly climbs into them, snuggling up to him as they lay together in the soft sheets. Enjolras allowed his eyes to trace over her features, taking her in, feeling amazed, as he always did, that she loved him back.

“You could have just left him,”

“He would have died of alcohol poisoning,”

“You’re not his Mum,”

“But I am all he has,” it was a familiar argument, one that no longer had any fire left behind either of the words said, as though the two of them were just following a script. They both knew the outcome; Enjolras knew that she would tell her brother the truth in her own time, so long as he left her to it.

“But he should know about us,” Enjolras tells her but she shakes her head before nuzzling her face into the crook of his neck.

“Not right now,” she sighs and Enjolras restrains the instinct to roll his eyes and instead hugs her slightly tighter.

“Okay,”

This had been going on for a while, almost four months of the two of them sneaking around behind Grantaire’s back. Most of the others knew, having either figured it out themselves or being confided in by those who had previous knowledge of the relationship. While they were all somewhat reluctant to lie to Grantaire, it was the first time that they had seen Enjolras so genuinely happy and content and so they were willing to help them hide it from Grantaire for the time being.

But every time that Y/N considered telling Grantaire it seemed as though something else would come up to serve as a reason why they should keep their relationship secret for as long as humanely possible. But it hurt both of them as it meant restrictions on how often they could see each other in the way that they wanted to.

All Enjolras wanted to do when they were in the coffee shop with their other friends was to pull Y/N onto his lap and leave her there for the whole of the meeting.

And it pained Y/N more than she could ever admit to be lying in such a way to her older brother who, since their parents had died a few years ago, had become the single most important person in her life. But Grantaire was constantly worried about losing his sister and Y/N knew that that was what he would view her relationship with Enjolras as – losing her to him.

“How was school?” Y/N asks, her voice soft and gentle as it always was and Enjolras felt himself falling steadily more in love with the girl as she traced light circles onto the skin on his arm. Her feather-light touch made shivers run down his spine and the grin on his face grows.

“Good, I got back that essay you helped me write,”

“I didn’t help you write that,” Y/N laughs, knowing exactly which essay Enjolras was referring to. The man smiled yet wider at the musical sound of her laugh.

“You did,” he insisted, well aware of how much he must look like a puppy as he stares at her. Puppy love. “Just you being around me helps me more than I could ever tell you,”

“Could you get anymore corny if you tried, Enj?” Y/N asks but the smile on her face, the adoring look in her eyes, allows Enjolras to see how much his words actually mean to her.

It was all going perfectly. Running smooth. Honeymoon period. Then they hit their sixth month anniversary. Y/N had told Grantaire she had made plans with some friends, having still been keeping her relationship a secret, and he told her that it was no worry, that she should go out and have some fun. He said that he would also make himself scarce, find some bar to haunt for the night and probably end up crashing with Marius and Courfeyrac when the night came to its end.

Which is why Enjolras was confused when Grantaire opened the door when he came to pick Y/N up.

“I didn’t make plans with you, did I?” Grantaire asks. His words were already slurred and Enjolras felt his anger beginning to rise as he gave a slight shake of his head.

“I’m here to see your sister,” Enjolras tells him as he enters into the apartment he had become familiar with in the past six months.

“Enj!” Y/N exclaims, but it doesn’t sound as excited as she normally does when she first sees him. “What are you doing here?” Enjolras frowns, shooting a glare at Grantaire from the corner of his eye, who was watching the scene unfold from the corner of the room, a bottle of beer in hand.

“We had plans, remember?” Enjolras presses, desperately hoping that she hadn’t forgotten their anniversary.

“Didn’t you get my text?” Y/N asks, purposefully avoiding Grantaire’s stare, which was flipping between the two, clearly trying to work it out. Enjolras shakes his head.

“Your plans were with him?” Y/N coughs and looks away. “Wait, what’s going on?” Grantaire presses, his frown deepening.

“I’m in love with your sister,” Enjolras states it plainly, not pausing to think about his words before they leave his lips and it’s not until Y/N glares at him, angry with him for the first time since the beginning of their relationship, that he actually realises what he said.

“Excuse me?”  Grantaire scoffs, seemingly sobering up rather quickly after those words. “Y/N?” He implores his sister, begging for her to deny what Enjolras is implying.

“You had no right,” she hisses at her boyfriend who rolls his eyes, scoffing at her.

“He had to find out sometime, Y/N. He’s not a child and, if you really loved me and him then you would have told him about it at the beginning of our relationship.”

“How long?” Grantiare manages; his eyes are locked on his sister, who can barely raise her gaze above the counter as she replies in a quiet voice.

“Six months today,”

“You’ve been keeping this from me for five months,” Grantiare’s anger is barely contained as he glares at Enjolras who returns the deathly stare.

“We didn’t want to hurt you,” Y/N’s voice is somewhat pleading but Grantaire scoffs, pushing himself off the wall and downing his beer.

“I’m going out,” he announces. Y/N tries to follow him into the corridor, talking to him, making appologies every second but Grantaire turns around and pushes her away violently. “Fuck off!” He screams as Y/N slams into the wall. Enjolras surges forwards, fuming, pushing Grantaire in the chest, away from Y/N, who has curled up into a ball on the floor letting out little whimpers.

“Yeah, fucking leave. Don’t fucking touch her,” Enjolras hisses to the man who looks at his sister in pain, trying to meet her eye but Y/N curls up further into herself, clearly trying to hide away from him.

Grantaire looks at Enjolras once more before giving a sharp nod and leaving, slamming the door behind him. It’s then that Y/N actually starts to cry. Enjolras drops down next to her, quickly hushing her sobs and placing his arms around her in what he hopes to be a comforting fashion.

“I’m sorry,” she whimpers but Enjolras quickly shakes his head, pressing a kiss to her hair and rocking her backwards and forwards.

“It’s him who has to be sorry, my love,”

“Are we going to be okay?” her voice is small and quiet, almost shy in a way that it hadn’t been since the two of them had first been introduced to one another and Enjolras feels the familiar urge to wrap his arms around her and protect her from the world as much as possible. His arms are already wrapped around her, so he was already half done.

“We’re always going to be okay,”

Leave mimi alone. If you could get over your jealousy for one second you would see would a sweet person she is. I follow her because she doesn't look for fights unlike blogs like yours. Yet there are fights on her blog cause of people who don't have anything better to do like you.

so it’s been a while and i finally worked up any sort of courage to address all of this and i will do it under this one ask because out of all the ones mimi’s “fans” sent me, this one was the most civil

i’m still shocked that i got so many people attacking me over rightfully calling mimi out, and ofc there is no jealousy involved, i guess i just don’t understand why she is the blog that anyone would want defend, like let me summarize

she only gets notes because she is fast with her updates, why is she fast? she just takes updates from twitter and twitter translators a lot of the time without crediting and without any factchecking herself

she spreads unverified information and rumours because of it and got into trouble because of it more than once

she posts sasaeng information and photos taken outside of official schedules in the boys’ private time despite being criticized for it (like the jikook vacation)

she also still has the fact that she “stalks” the boys in her bio, even though i know for a fact people told her many times it’s inappropriate in the context of the fan culture in korea

she is very ignorant about mental illness (the post where she claims that jimin suffers from depression and was saved from it by jin as a fact is still up btw), the entertainment business in korea, colorism and racism (she thinks “reverse racism” is an actual thing lol) and she spreads her harmful opinions by writing essays about it to her large following

what bothers me personally a lot as a gay person, she is one of those obnoxious delusional shippers and normalizes that behaviour to her followers and also fetishizes gay men to a really ugly extent (i’m not talking here about normal shipping BTW I SHIP LOWKEY TOO, it’s about boundaries though, i’m talking about writing conspiracy theories and fetishizing, FETISHIZING, treating sexuality as a joke and treating it like a commodity, direct quote from one of her very “funny” posts: “BTS is gay ! Shippers : Of course. Why would I stan straight boys ? Who does that ?”)

(and yes as someone said in the tags, apparently she also did make racial jokes and jokes about north korea etc, but i haven’t seen those myself, only saw people mention it second hand so since i don’t have receipts i wasn’t going to include it initially)

and that is all before the jonghyun issue, which i feel like is kind of a culmination of a lot of what i dislike about her blog

she didn’t wait for an official confirmation from SM and immediately started posting about his death, all actual fanbases of jonghyun and shinee waited until after the confirmation to actually post about it, because can you imagine if it wasn’t true (no matter how real it may seem?), just like other actual bts fanbases most of these serious blogs wait for official confirmations for anything, unlike mimi who just jumps on any opportunity for notes and for her to be the news bearer. you could see people asking her to wait until the confirmation in the notes of her first posts, BUT SHE DIDN’T LISTEN, instead she let her posts spread and only added confirmation much later when it came out (which is what she does in general, spreads rumours / unconfirmed info, then when confirmation or denial comes out she edits the post and apologizes in some extremely lowkey way, despite her getting the heat for it she keeps repeating the same pattern)

her posts were made from the point of view of a bts fan instead of a human being, she was extremely tribal by saying things like that “as a bts fan, as an army” i offer my hand to shawol etc, “jonghyun took care of bts”

then she made her post about saying how we should be grateful the boys are under BigHit and not SM, because bighit supports the boys in expressing themselves about mental illness and provides help for them, blaming the company and the entertainment business for jonghyun’s death, showing her complete ignorance, not only do we not know what bighit is actually like behind the scenes (do people not remember the scandal where one of the managers hit jungkook on camera?), but the issue is that this didn’t apply to sm anyway… because…jonghyun was very outspoken about his issues with mental illness, so were other sm artists like taeyeon or leeteuk, there was/is even a support group for idols under sm that these guys as well as others like onew or yoona were a part of

and depression isn’t that simple, jonghyun had friends and outlets, but if anyone has ever been depressed or suicidal, then you as i would understand that sometimes that doesn’t matter, depression is a serious illness and the illness just won in this case, this is an opportunity to spread awareness about the illness, to urge people to seek treatment as well (jonghyun sought it himself) not try to analyze and pin it on any company or any circumstance

yet mimi linked jonghyun’s death to being oppressed by his company, by having to hold things on the inside, as if he didn’t talk about it candidly and didn’t express himself in his music

what i also found distasteful but i also can’t prove anything and people grieve differently, i still raised my eyebrows because when she lashed out at people who got rightfully angry for her for using this opportunity for notes and to make it about bts and bighit, she revealed that she was upset and cried because she thought about how it could’ve been “one of her idols” that this happened to and that she didn’t even know shinee that well… she was very coherent up until that point, but when people called her out she started to cry and be very emotional and started to talk about how she had liked shinee since debut and jonghyun was her favourite (so she has been following them for like 10 years? that is longer than i have been into kpop and i am OLD and have liked shinee since 2009.. so she’s been a fan that long and doesn’t even know the basics of what jjong was like and what he dealt with?) and then went onto analyze his lyrics and talk about how she should’ve known, and her blog transformed into other people consoling her despite her being the person that upset so many people with what she had done… that stuff doesn’t add up for me, but that is just speculation since grief is different for everyone etc, it’s just something i personally can’t buy considering how she behaves online a lot of the time

she said she was sorry without actually acknowledging what she did wrong and after people defended her vehemently she actually changed her tune and started to say things like how it was a misunderstanding and even asked her followers to approach any people who were still “misunderstanding” and let them know, which,,, what even? i suppose i’m party this to thank for all the people that told me i was an ugly/jealous loser that should delete and/or die

and despite her being like this, despite her never learning from her mistakes, people still keep defending her and attacking people that call her out, and why? 

i would agree if it were one mistake, everyone always says.. let’s educate her instead of attacking her, let her learn from her mistakes, that’s what life is all about, right? i agree, people grow from their mistakes

but.. SHE NEVER LEARNS! she keeps repeating the same things, no matter how many times she gets in trouble, and you guys keep enabling her, i think it’s this culture of fans stanning other fans that creates toxic behaviour like this, why would she change? why would she learn? why would she start and mature, why? when she has so many people telling her that it’s okay, that she is right and everybody else is wrong everytime she messes up? i think people that send me those messages are complicit really

i just wonder, what will she have to do for you guys to see that she isn’t someone worth sticking up to to this extent, because due to this environment, she won’t learn?

is she the hill you guys want to die on?

i often see people saying that she does a lot for the fandom, but? she doesn’t actually do anything special, she basically takes from others and profits from them, if you follow actual update blogs that do their homework, like allforbts, ktaebwi, sweaterpawsjimin, or vlissful on twitter, you will see the difference right away.. those are the people that do work for the fandom, she redistributes and doesn’t even thank those that did the work, there are people that spend dozens of hours translating and researching, books worth of content, people that paid for japanese tv subcriptions so they can record those shows for you, those are the people that do a lot, reposting tweets, anyone can do that (and a lot of people do, which is fine as long as due credit is given, what i’m saying is… it isn’t special and doesn’t require any effort at all, so why worship someone for like… doing the bare minimum? and sometimes not even that?)

why would you guys go to such an extent to then attack people that called her out, and rightfully, you guys would tell me a person with depression and an actual fan of jonghyun, that “if you care about jonghyun so much why don’t you join him”

over mimi? over someone who acts like all that i described? is that worth it… i don’t understand this cult-like mentality, even if she were an actual angel that did save the fandom, what in the world would make this okay?

i now have anxiety every time i try to get on tumblr and will have to work to overcome it because you people told me to die over calling HER out while going to her and telling her how everyone else sucks and she is a lovely angel…

and why she doesn’t pick fights? i talked to her in the past and let me tell you… she is stubborn and won’t change her mind and when she sees she can’t out-argue and manipulate the person SHE BLOCKS THEM and doesn’t let them express their views on her blog, no she only lets views that paint her as a victim there, she doesn’t let her followers see any validand CONSTRUCTIVE criticism

that’s why she seems like she is above it, like she is only nice and the angel and people like me are scum for ever saying anything, she is very smart about that aspect of things. but she isn’t above criticism (and neither am i), she is a human being like me or you :/.
