The Worst Wedding Gift Ever
They feel…something warm…like the sun on a nice spring day, but even that isn’t enough to describe the wonderful feeling. It’s so…fuzzy…loving…caring.
It’s nice.
“Alright, you can open them now.”
Frisk opens their eyes, excited to find out what mystery item their husband has gifted them.
When their mind processes what is before them, their smile fades away. A creeping dread fills them in their place.
What they behold is two, white, inverted hearts hovering gently above their hands.
"This is your wedding gift Frisk, from me,” he motions to himself, “to you,” and back to Frisk.
“What…” Frisk nearly falters at the sight before them, “What is this?”
“These are monster souls,” The King explains, bringing his hands forward to hold Frisk’s, “As for your real question, let me answer it with a refresher lesson, as it has been a while since you were told this. As I am sure the absence of soul-stealing humans with the power of gods can tell you, humans cannot take the souls of humans, only monsters can.
“However,” the King continues, “the reverse is also true to a limited extent. It is significantly harder to have a human absorb a monster soul, as only a specific type of monster has enough power for its soul to persist outside the body before it disintegrates, and only then for a few seconds without my assistance. Fortunately, these two souls belong to the last remaining members of that species. Incredibly rare and incredibly difficult to achieve, their passing now means no other human can ever gain that power. But now that you will soon have them…urahahaha…”
The King leans gently guides Frisk’s arms to their chest, causing the souls to close in as the newlyweds bodies come together. Frisk can feel alien emotions creep into their mind, a mix of fear, worry, love, and concern. It reminds them of when they shared their soul with the King.
The King’s smile widens, a frantic look of excitement is on his face. “Your body will become part monster, granting you access to the boundless magic locked within your human soul. Your will be suffused with so much power you will become immortal. Neither age, nor ailments, nor blades, nor bullets shall ever harm you.”
“Not just that,” the King says. He leans back, and the sensation of others emotions blessedly diminishes, only for Frisk’s anxiety to rise when they see the King has brought out two other souls from the palm of his hand: two upright hearts; a blue one complemented by a green one. “Once you have become part monster, you will be able to take human souls as well, of which I have plenty to share.”
The King continues speaking even as Frisk’s mind start ringing from anxiety. They watch as he brings the human souls closer to the monster souls. “For now, however, these two are the most compatible for you. They were specially chosen for being the most docile towards you.”
He gently places the human souls above the monster souls, letting them float in the air. The King continues, “Everything I am capable of, everything I have shown you, and everything you can put to mind and beyond will soon be in your hands.”
They hear a click, and watch in horror as their own soul is brought out before them in a monster encounter, the box floating just between their chest and their hands.
The King’s grin becomes manic as the possibilities play out before him. “You will become a god,” he says as he gently grasps Frisk’s wrists.
“Just,” he brings the arms inwards.
“Like,” he lifts their hands to the encounter box.
“Me,” the souls make contact with their own. There is a flash- ---

A final form for Asriel Dreemurr giving Frisk their wedding gift prematurely, an event that occurs in my fanfiction, Guardian of the Angel on AO3 in an upcoming chapter.
I don't think it takes a rocket scientist to know what Frisk's reaction will be.
Undertale, including the base drawing for Asriel’s head, front horns, feet, lower hands, and wing structure, belongs to Toby Fox,

Beautiful Wickedness
A NOS4A2 Fanfiction By: Allyssa J. Watkins
Ally lay next to Charles, as the silver morning crept into the overhead canopy, setting the room alight with a soft glow. There was so much they weren't saying, as they laid there, close enough to touch, and a part of her wanted to forget it all........ her team-up with Victoria, her ghastly meeting with the vampire children, their deathly duel on the St. Nick Parkway, and just hold her husband, cling to his beautiful body, until it all melted away like snow........
Charles frowned as that mischievous hand touched his face, trying not to admire how comely her black lace nightdress stood out stark against her white skin. Skin that was right now beckoning to him....... He looked at her stubbornly, fighting his attraction, wary as to just what new hellish plot her sweet touch might conjure for him. You're a scheming minx, Wife, and yet I do so long, even still, to be seduced by you.
"Good Morning, Mrs. Manx," He whispered softly, allowing her to stroke his cheek, drunk with the ache in her touch, wondering if the same hunger lingered on her soft lips. "Are you going to kill me today, Wife? Or shall we linger abed for a bit longer?"
"Charles......." Ally whispered back, anguished, perishing in the thought, and he grabbed her tightly, as she hugged his body to hers, hiding her face in his bared chest.
"If I may be granted the privilege in choosing the weapon of my demise........ This sweet suffocation is a rather fine way to go......." He snickered, feeling her arms wrap tighter around him, her cheek pressed flush to his muscular chest, the slight quiver in her lips, making him wish they were overtaking his right now. So much fuss and fret, so many furious words hurled, this damnable business with Vic, poisoning their happy honeymoon days. But laying here, grasping her, feeling her, both of them desperate to be closer to each other. This was what he'd craved....... What he was so afraid to lose.
"Or perhaps I would prefer to die by a kiss," He simpered, his breath hot, his voice almost a growl and he wrenched her up his body, drowning her in an angry and tender kiss, tasting that ache, that pain of love, those gentle tears.........
"Ally........"
Ally burst into tears as she kissed him back passionately, letting her body say the words she could not, and Charles seized her thigh, punishing her with his affection, feeling her let go.......
"Charles- I could never- I won't let her k-kill-" Ally sobbed harder as she spoke between kisses, her voice broken and desolate, and Manx pulled at her curls to get more control over her lips, and to shield his heart from the pangs of those hopeless sobs.
"Nobody cries in Christmasland, Ally Manx," He breathed, his lips still brushing against hers, and he rested his fingernails on her wet cheek, watching the tears stream steady from those summertime eyes. "You're breaking the rules, My Sweet, and my poor heart. Unhappiness is against the law, or did you forget? Kill me with your kiss, Allyssa, yes, but do be so kind as to make it quick."
"I'll kiss you, Loveliest Husband, but I won't kill you........ Ally's eyes welled with raw emotion, piercing agony, profound joy, her lip still quivering. "I love you more than-"
"Don't-" Charles reprimanded sharply, pressing a trembling razor sharp nail against her wet lips, to silence her, his black eyes welling with anguish. "Don't you dare say it, Allyssa, if you don't mean it, don't induct that slow acting poison we call hope, through my veins. If you hate me, SCREAM IT, strike me, cut me with your precious pen, but don't you tell me you love me, if it's no longer true!!!!"
"Charles!!!!" Ally cried out in another desolate sob, and Charlie hastily lowered his hand to let her speak, still clutching hold of her like she was a fast fading dream. "I LOVE YOU!!!! Of course, I love you, and I know it would be easier for us both, if I didn't, but I don't care!!!! I will LOVE you, even if it kills me........"
Charles felt his chest shudder, the infernal tears stinging his eyes, pouring out of him, laced with the pain, and the poisonous hope, and he cursed them, feeling like he was dying, because he knew it was true. Through the many horrors and heartache, forcing her to hurt whomever he chose, authoring mayhem with her hand, in the midst of a still raging war for the Found Children of Christmasland, somehow the devil and a lost angel, the pure and the soulless had fallen in love.
His vulnerability turned brittle and cold, like ice that could shatter against her warmth.
"I told you....... to fear the far more tender hands. You didn't listen."
Charlie's glistening claws snapped around her curly head, closing tight, yanking her upright, and he waited for the struggle that never came, she didn't even cry out, as he delicately drew his sharp pinky over her full, tremulous lip. He paused with a snarl, and then rested his head atop hers, sinking his cheek into the silky, pillowed curls there, his voice a wounded rasp, as he held her still.
"Do you have ANY idea......... how HARD I tried not to love you........"
"Do you......... love me?" She asked breathlessly, trembling in his forceful hold, but she didn't fight him, and he sighed in defeat, his eyes murderous, his claws still firmly cradling his porcelain doll's head.
"More than Christmas......." His windstorm rage withered into a whisper, trading away his secret, his eyes flashing with something fearfully fond, pressing a kiss into her halo of curls. Damn this perfect creature. "I will confess, I had no designs for this to be a happy marriage, Mrs. Manx. Before I said, I do, tricked you into signing away your life, your hand, on that majestic Christmas Eve, and watched your eyes dance, glistening in the cascading glow of white lights, your beauty purely blinding, as I slid the lie onto your finger......... and let the trap close around you, before that profound moment, I had thought there existed no such thing as a happy marriage. Only fools enjoy such a suffocating union, under the thumb of a woman, as their dreams die slowly with them. What is a wedding, truly, but a man's funeral!?" He snarled coldly, his lip furled, and then slowly, his claws retracted.
"And then you happened, Allyssa Jolene, stole your way into my hardened heart, husband and wife fighting on opposite sides, and still sharing the same bed, as much devoured by the other's passions as ever........ How preposterous! Sickness, health, and all that humbug, but even quarreling with you in conflict is explicit bliss.
He let her go roughly, but did not release her from the intensity of his gaze, eying her with an especially derisive arched brow. "What now, Ally Manx? How does this fated love story end? We have proved beyond doubts and shadows that we cannot kill each other, and yet a problem called Vic McQueen persists, putting us ultimately at odds. I want to kill her, and she wants to kill me, while you seem rather reluctant to let either wish be granted, languishing between........" His smirk crept across his lips, especially smug. "And yet, you're not truly on either side, are you, My Dearest Love? If she knew that you were here, that you had betrayed her, by coming to me, succumbed to one last late night tryst in our marriage bed no less, she'd hate you forever. She'd never trust you again. Oh is there anything more fickle than a woman?
"I know, I shouldn't have come, but I-I couldn't resist seeing you, Charles, touching you, kissing you!!! I need you....... It doesn't have to be this way!!! You can end this, right now........."
Charlie's black eyes snapped, as she hugged his waist, and nestled her curly head into his shoulder, her eyes squeezed shut. So demure, my clever temptress....... But the honeymoon....... is long over.
Ally struggled against him as he seized both of her hands, entwining their fingers, attempting to hold her in place, as he forced her to lay back down, pressing her under him as he moved on top of her, snickering to himself, knowing she wasn't fighting very hard.
"The time for dealing and truces has long passed, My Love, this ends in blood. I AM going to end this", he purred, releasing his talons from one of her hands, to stroke her spilt curls on his pillow, as she looked back with big, sad, green eyes. "And when I do........ Your amusing little girl gang will be finished, and you will never go against me again once you've beheld what I've done to her."
He grinned even more charming, kissing her deeply, but the threat lingered in the heat of his passion, so coldly, that she shivered beneath him.
"I love you, Charles, but I won't let you kill her. I-I have to stop you, save you from yourself, so we can be together."
He kissed her angrily, his tooth catching on her lip, and then grabbed hold of her face to stop her, before she could kiss him back, his voice especially sinister.
"I will kill her....... even if it means sacrificing your love."
"Charles, NO! You cannot mean that!" She cried out in protest, her sweet eyes horrified, and he whisked his razor tipped nails across her dove white cheek.
"I do," He quipped cleverly, toying with the ring on her hand, feeling her close it into a fist, fearing he'd meant to rip it from her delicate little finger. Oh no, Wife....... You WILL wear my ring, and you will come back to me. Once I kill that petulant little bitch, you will have no choice, but to BEHAVE.
"Charles, I beg you-"
"AND if you do manage by some unforeseen twist of fate to leave here........" He finished coolly, cutting off her impassioned pleas. "You will never be free of me......." He leaned in closer, breathing in deeply, brushing his nose against hers, breathing heavily on her lips as he spoke. "I will find you," He whispered sing song, stroking her forehead. "You are my wife til death do us part, and lucky you, for I.......... am immortal."
He chuckled and expected her to continue pleading, struggling, reasoning, but instead she did the one thing he never saw coming........ Ally slowly lowered her curly head, and kissed just so where his wisps of silky chest hair began, her voice so full of desire, his hold loosened completely.
"What makes you think........ I want to be free of you.......?"
Charles' lips parted, euphoric, practically purring as he rolled onto his back, pulling her on top of him, clasping the back of her head, nails in curls, kissing her, devouring her lips with an insatiable hunger.
She grinned against his lips, kissing him even more ravenously, hair dangling in her eyes, letting her ache, her love for his beautiful wickedness flood from her very being.
"You always did have such a fiery way with words, My Divine," He breathed feverishly, the two of them sharing air, drowning in each other. "And yet...... Your lips hold more of desire's own fire, than your words could even form."
"I would die without your kiss, Charles. Do not perpetrate so cruel a punishment as starving me of it."
Charles smiled at her very boyishly, scrunching the back of her tresses, as their lips met again in a rush of burning heat, and sultry smoulder.
"No, I think I'll feed it to you instead, tempt you with it, until this crusade against me, holds nothing so enticing. Forget her, Ally. Choose me. Let me make love to you, My Snow Queen, with a passion and tenderness so intense, that we shall transcend our naked bodies, and touch the stars. Stay with me, and I will be again your saintly suitor. We will be as we were........ Once upon a December."
Charlie started to hum the tune to which they had fallen in love inside a snowglobe, moving together in perfect mirror images as one, the motion and lines, living poetry.
Ally gazed back at him lovingly, her face flushed in an enthralled daze as Charlie cast his enchantment, and the pure and utter joy shining in her eyes, colouring her crimson cheek was exquisite, creating in him such an ecstasy, as nothing he ever knew any one thing could inspire.
But just as quickly as the lightning had come and struck, so did the tears, and regretful sorrow. "Oh My Darling Charles! What you have thus described is my own blinding Elysium, my perfect inscape of tender caresses and naked skin, but I-I cannot....... As badly I as want to surrender to this beckoning heaven, become one with my beloved husband in all of his beautiful wickedness, and immortal beauty, give myself to him, consummate our love, I must refuse until this business with Vic is finished. Only when I have you all to myself, and you are not wooed by this war with her, can I ever be yours, body and soul."
"Then FINISH IT," Charles rasped, purposefully breaking the spell, tearing himself off her, and yanking her from the bed, his eyes an angry, burning black oblivion."
"Charlie-"
Charlie charged swiftly to the window throwing it open, and rushed back to take her into his arms, as she froze, confused.
"Please Charlie, don't be angered."
"I am not," He said said much softer, kissing the back of her hand, losing his eyes in her black lace bodice. "I am........ Impatient. So finish it, Allyssa, my brave, defiant wife. FINISH it, DAMN IT!!!! Fly back to Vic McQueen, and give it your best shot, raise hell against me, and don't worry," he smirked as she nervously bit her lip. "Our overnight will be our little secret. I won't tell her that you were weak and came to me. Go, and do your worst, Mrs. Manx, and when you fail spectacularly to stop me, to wrest away my children from their happy home, when I kill Vic McQueen, slowly, leisurely, licking up every delicious moment while I make her suffer right in front of you........ Come back to me, give me my hard won prize, and end this ungrateful ugliness." He seethed, pulling her up against his chest, carried, legs dangling, in his strong, muscular arms, and she gripped onto him tight as he hopped feverishly up to the window's ledge.
"Charles, NO, wait, please-!!! DON'T!!!"
"What's the matter, My Dove? Don't you want to....... fly?"
Charles hurled her out the open window, watching as she tumbled into the snow, more a blackbird in that scandalous gown than a snow white dove. She scrambled to get up, and took off running, and he leant against the window frame, shirtless and smirking, waiting for it. Sure enough, once she'd scurried far enough away, she chanced a glance over her shoulder, to look at him one last time......... He met her lonely gaze, and blew a kiss to her almost spitefully. Fly away, little blackbird, but know......... You will never escape this cage.

Promises (One Shot)
~ ANGST ~
(Link to Fanfiction and AO3)
Danny was bored out of his mind. Sitting in Lancer's class and listening to lectures on Shakespeare didn't really scream "attention" to him. He looked out the window, how he longed to be outside! The trees swayed in the wind and the sun shone so bright, it was the perfect day. Hanging out with his friends at the nasty burger seemed so distant, even if it was last period of the day. Class had just begun, and he would have to wait another 60 minutes to get out of this hell-hole.
Sam and Tuck were sitting right next to him on either side. They seemed to be paying attention. Danny tried to focus on the words coming out of Lancer's mouth, but he just couldn't. The world outside was just too distracting. He was watching the birds, as they flew past the trees and out of view. He thought about how he could fly with -
"Mr. Fenton!" Danny jumped at the use of his last name, he only knew one person who referred to him that way.
"I hope you were paying attention because I have a question for you." Danny gulped, "Whom does Lady Macbeth frame for her murder?" Mr. Lancer asked as Danny looked to his friends for help. They were trying to hold back their snickers through their palms covering their grins. Danny shook his head at his friends and contemplated. He had read the first 2 pages of the play and slowly dozed off last night after a long day of protecting Amity Park.
"The king?" Danny questioned, he didn't even know if there was a king to begin with.
"Incorrect. It was Duncan's drunken chamberlains. I would like to talk to you after class." Lancer had a look of irritation on his face. It wasn't Danny's fault the ghosts kept coming back.
Danny sighed, another detention. He really was hoping to go outside and enjoy the perfect weather, but his plans seemed busted. Sam and Tucker only gave him looks of regret, as they should have helped him out.
His head started to feel weird as a migraine began to form. I guess this is payback for not reading the assignment he thought. Danny got headaches often, usually when he overexerted his powers, but today had been a relaxed day. The growing pain in his head made it harder to concentrate than it already was. He tried to look out the window for comfort, but the pain kept growing and growing.
Five minutes later, his head was throbbing with pain. Danny felt like grasping his head and curling into a ball. His migraines never got this bad.
Sam noticed Danny grimace and mouthed What's wrong? towards him and he mouthed back Headache. Baby Sam replied, she knew Danny had a high pain tolerance after 4 years of ghost fighting. She smiled back at him and turned back towards Lancer. His now girlfriend seemed to not care. Maybe he should listen and try to raise his grade for once in his life. But it was senior year, and Danny was not looking forward to going to college.
His ongoing headache had not yet passed after 10 minutes. He really did try to form what Lancer was saying into actual words, but it all sounded like noise. His field of view started to blur, and spots danced around his vision. He wanted to run, he wanted to hide. Something's wrong.
"May I go to the bathroom Mr. Lancer?" Danny said in a cracked voice as he raised his hand.
"Can you wait a few minutes Mr. Fenton? I'm in the middle of a PowerPoint and this is urgent information you need to know for your exam tomorrow. I would like it if you took notes as well."
"Fine," Danny replied. He sank down in his seat and Tucker looked at him curiously. Ghost? mouthed Tuck. At least that’s what Danny though he mouthed. Huh? Danny couldn't even see Tuck's mouth move, it was all obscure. He only recognized his best friend because of his red beret.
Danny closed his eyes and put his head on the desk. His head hurt, he couldn't see, and he could barely hear. He placed his hands on his head, gripping his hair. This isn't good. A nauseous feeling started to rise from his stomach and his eyes began to burn. Hot, hot, too hot. Danny couldn't think, he couldn't act. His limbs felt loose, and he felt himself slipping out of consciousness. He tried to pull himself together, I'm stronger than this. But his body wouldn't cooperate.
The last thing he knew was his eyes opened wide and burned.
xXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXx
Mr. Lancer watched as Daniel placed his head on the desk, poor boy he thought. He probably didn't get enough sleep last night. Then again, for the past four years it seemed like Daniel hadn't gotten any sleep at night. He was used to Danny's antics, constant bathroom breaks, missing periods of class, and sometimes skipping the entire class altogether. Daniel had even grown since freshman year, almost as tall as Mr. Baxter, but the other physical characteristics persisted. Same black, jagged hair, bags under the eyes, the careless and lopsided grin. He really was the same person, but a mystery nonetheless.
Mr. Lancer went through the PowerPoint with ease, only one interruption from Daniel to use the bathroom, expected. It seemed as though his class had not one thought to listen, except few students. Ms. Manson and Mr. Foley were giving him adequate attention. Let's see how they do on the exam tomorrow, then they'll listen.
He dismissed the students after 20 minutes of lecturing, tasking them with an assignment. Daniel had not lifted his head since placing it on the desk.
"Ms. Manson, can you please wake Mr. Fenton?" he asked. Samantha nodded in return and turned towards Daniel, shaking him violently. The students had all turned towards her, apparently anything was better than doing their assignment, such as waking up a student. Few kids started to chuckle at Daniel's constant sleeping in class.
"Wake up Danny! You're in school, not your bed!" despite the shaking, Daniel had not awakened. Samantha used little force to lift his head and only then did everyone notice a small pool of green coating Daniel's desk. Lancer looked at the horrifying image before him as his heat skipped a beat and almost stopped.
Daniel had a green gooey substance coating his entire eye and leaking slowly. His jaw slacked open and the empty expression pasted on his face seemed to look Lancer directly into his soul. A shiver ran up his spine as Samantha started to shake rigorously again.
"Danny! Danny this isn't funny! Stop your pranks right now! Goddamnit it!" she yelled as she turned towards Lancer, stunned and terrified
"Ste-Step away from Mr. Fenton!" Lancer's mind wracked for a solution, he didn't know what to do. The slacken expression on the head hung teen as his eyes, his pupil-less eyes shone bright green. Despite the constant issue of ghosts, this was something he had not seen before. Samantha stayed in place, trying to wake Danny from his trance along with Tucker's help.
"Freak!" Dashiel yelled, "Get away from me!" He jumped from his seat and ran to the front of the room. A couple of students near the situation followed Dashiel to the front of the room.
Lancer ran up to the trio and grabbed Daniel by the shoulders. Samantha and Tucker looked at each other in disbelief and horror. Lancer, Samantha, and Tucker simultaneously picked the teen up and maneuvered him towards the back of the class. He's abnormally light, does he even eat? They reached the back of the class and looked for an open spot to place Daniel down. The other students watched in disgust as their teacher and two classmates carried their unconsciousness classmate.
"Kwan! Go retrieve the nurse! Tell her to – "
"DON'T TOUCH ME!" Daniel screamed. The three carrying him dropped the teen and he fell to the ground feet first in a crouched position, his head facing down.
"Danny – " Samantha said in a quiet voice and placed her palm on his back in comfort.
"I said DON'T. TOUCH. ME." Samantha jumped back in response as though she had touched a hot flame. Daniel lifted his head as his eyes still leaked, ectoplasm was it? It’s sickly sour, lemony smell diffused throughout the room. His red sweatshirt was stained with the substance. His skin was a sickly pale
Daniel stood up, and quickly looked directly at Lancer. He tilted his head slightly and a sly grin spread across his face. A terrifying crack sounded when he moved his head and students cringed. Then as quickly as the grin came, it flipped into a frown. He grabbed his hair and let out a painfilled scream and everyone immediately covered their ears. Lancer unknowingly stepped few paces back, and then realized he should go to the corner with the other students till the nurse came. Should I call 911? Lancer quickly maneuvered through the maze that was the desks and stood protectively in front of his students, covering his ears all the while.
The screaming continued for what felt like an eternity, the sound permanently latched into everyone's minds. When Daniel stopped his knees buckled and he fell, I took in a breath realizing that I had stopped breathing. His palms caught him from falling face first. He caught his breath and cradled into a ball on the floor.
"pAiN, sUfFeRiNg, PAIN AND SUFFERING!" Daniel whispered repeatedly as he rocked back and forth in a fetal position on the floor. Everyone was too stunned to make a move, but Lancer realized Kwan was not there. He must have gone to get the nurse, like I told him to. I could see the confliction passing across Samantha's face, she wasn't sure if she should comfort Daniel or run for cover. Tucker was looking around the room wildly, I wonder for what.
"Mr. Fenton, please. Tell us what's wrong" Lancer pleaded. He didn't know what else he could do. This situation was nothing like anything he had ever experienced. "Ms. Manson, Mr. Foley, has this happened before?" He could hear the whispers from his students.
I always knew he was a freak.
What's happening to him? We should back up. What if he does something destructive?
My special ghost boy will come to save the day! He will rid of this possessed child.
He's a loser, a low life, I just want to leave class.
Its his freaky parents, they probably did something to him.
Just as Samantha was about to reply, Daniel jumped up from the floor in inhumane speed right. He quickly turned around and his neck cracked again as he tilted it at an impossible angle.
"YOU," Daniel lifted his finger forcefully and pointed it at Dash "I've aLwAyS wanted to cRuSh your body in a lOcKeR… Revenge… so cLoSe… I can fEeL it..." His voice had an echo and eerie darkness to it, this sounded nothing like the Daniel he knew. Then again, he knew next to nothing about Daniel.
Lancer could see the internal struggle to keep a brave front on Dash's face, he wanted to impress his classmates. Dash furrowed his brows in challenge "Like you could even lift me. Pfft. Fenturd you're nothing, but a freak".
"Is that a cHaLlEnGe?! Like a mere hUmAn could match my strength. YOU always hurt the iNnOcEnt… for four years I eNdUrEd… I'm DONE!" Daniel yelled at Dash and then directed his booming voice towards the rest of his classmates as they flinched at the unexpected action. "WHAT? ARE YOU ALL BLIND? THE BRUISES AND CUTS WERENT ENOUGH FOR YOU TO SEE?" His volume increased and the ectoplasm from his steadily flowing down his cheeks, like tears. "HE, no ALL OF YOU constantly hurt…" his voice faltered as he scanned the crowd. Jocks, cheerleaders, nerds, averagers, geeks, and the list goes on. Hurt who? Bruises and cuts?
Daniel growled then turned towards the brick wall and swiftly contacted his fist with it, leaving an impressive impact. The school shook as his punch left a deep dent, almost through the wall. Gasps echoed from the students and one even screamed, Paulina. Students from other classrooms started murmuring and appearing at the door.
Daniel spun towards Paulina and his green eyes rolled back and replaced by pure white eyes. He grabbed the wall for support as his legs stumbled, tempting a fall. He breathed heavily, head down towards the ectoplasmic pool by his feet. Samantha and Tucker were hesitant to move. He stood up and looked at his friends.
"You save their asses constantly, and what do you get in return?" a booming voice resonating from Daniel as he paced in one direction and rotated back in the other direction.
"No, its not l-like that, I-I-" replied a quieter voice by Daniel. His normal voice but fainter. He continued to pace back and forth, as if arguing with himself.
"THEY DON'T FUCKING CARE FOR YOU! YOU'RE A MONSTER IN THEIR EYES!"
"N-no I'm not! Th-they… I-I-… I'm human too!"
"nOnSeNsE! YOU WILL NEVER FIT IN, IN BOTH REALMS! YOU'RE A FREAK!"
"I'm not a fr-freak… they'll accept m-me… th-they w-will understand…" almost a whisper, barely audible.
"YOU'RE HUNTED ON A DAY TO DAY BASIS, YET YOU CALL YOURSELF THE HUNTER!"
"I-I try to help… it will take time…"
"WE DON'T HAVE TIME, ITS RUNNING OUT!”
"What? No… just, just…"
"JUST WHAT? NO ONE LIKES YOU, YOU'RE JUST A FREAKY SCIENCE EXPERIMENT GONE WRONG!"
"I'm-I'm not wrong… I exist, right? I help…"
"YOU. WILL. NEVER. BELONG. ADMIT IT!"
"I... no, you're wrong… I’m-
-I won't belong…"
Danny whispered as he stopped walking and tilted his head down, covering the green holes that supposedly represented eyes as he admitted his own subconscious. Silence erupted as Daniel stood there.
"Danny, no... people will accept you. Remember the reality gauntlet incident?" Samantha broke the unending silence as she walked towards Daniel with her hand out stretched. Tears threatened to fall from her face. Samantha never cries.
"Yea dude fight it… You belong, you're just as much human as all of us." Tucker supplemented from his position next to Samantha, he took a step forward, but not as close to Daniel as Samantha. Tucker also looked as if on the verge of tears. Lancer couldn't comprehend anything said in the past 20 minutes, not even Daniel's rant.
Many students had started to cry, fear rising from the pits of their stomach. He had a similar feeling creeping up his body. Paulina, being one the loudest wailers, started to fill up the silence that surrounded the class. Daniel still stood there, a blank expression displayed on his face.
A flash erupted at Daniel's waist, but died out as quickly as it came. His bright green ectoplasmic eyes from before rolled back in and he collapsed on the floor, unconscious.
"Danny!" Samantha shouted as she ran up to him an grabbed him by the shoulder before he could touch the ground. She was crouched on the floor with his head in her lap. His eyes suddenly flickered blue/green and he grabbed her arm tightly.
"yOu… (cough cough) PrOmIsEd…" he hesitantly whispered between breaths. His hold on her arm went limp as Samantha's eyes widened and flashed rigorously while her face went slack.

Danny's room had always been one of my favorite places to be in. The comfortable bed surrounded by NASA posters always warmed my heart. The room even smelled like him. The boys were grabbing the food for ourr weekend-o-fun and they would be up any minute now. We planned to watch three movies, each one chosen by a member of our trio.
"We got snacks!" called Danny as he entered his room. He had grown since his awkward, clumsy self. He even had muscles and abs, I need to stop thinking about that! Four years of ghost fighting can do that to someone. He and Tuck had 3 overloaded bowls of food in their arms, every teenager's dream. I grabbed mine and set it on the nightstand by the bed. Tuck had started eating already and predictably it was meat, yuck.
We started the movie on the TV in Danny's room. 20 minutes into Tuck's chosen cinema, he declared "Hey, I gotta go to the bathroom quickly. Just pause for me."
"UGH," groaned Danny "we all know that quickly isn't the right word." I chuckled beside him and he smirked in response.
"Shut up man" Tucker responded and left the room. An awkward silence overwhelmed the two left and Danny was the first to break it.
"Hey Sam, I gotta ask you something. You won't laugh if I tell you right?" He looked a bit shy and overworked, like he had been contemplating asking this for a while.
"That depends on what it is," she retorted "but go ahead." He shifted slightly and sat up facing towards her.
"You know, I've been ghost fight 'in for a while now, and well, we've been pretty lucky. No major damages and stuff like that. But…" he hesitated "we wont always be lucky. There may be a day where… where I don't come back. Don't get mad, and I know you will tell me it won't happen, but promise me. Just promise me, whatever happens you'll keep on going. Don't wait for me. You and Tuck will have each other. Just promise me, if I get hurt…" he stopped when I hugged him quickly and tears threatened to spill from my cheeks. He was right, the possibility that he might not end up ok in the end was always there. That didn't mean that I wanted it to happen.
"I-I- Danny don't think like this. We will always be there to help you, I won't let it happen." I looked him straight in the eyes and he too had few tears.
"You didn't promise me." He said in monotony looking back at me.
"I," I faltered, promising him meant that it might happen, but… "I promise. Danny, I promise" I hugged him again held him tightly to my chest. I didn't want to lose him, I couldn't lose him. I pulled back and looked him in the eyes and leaned forward and kissed him.
He flinched at first, but then accepted it and leaned in. The passionate kiss continued a bit, until we both pulled back, breathless.
"Wow, I- uh," Danny was stunned. I giggled, he still was clumsy sometimes.
"Danny, I don't want to lose you. And I-I love you." I looked into his crystal blue eyes shining so bright. I always was quite fond of his eyes, reminding me of my favorite flowers, hydrangeas.
"I love you to Sam" the words melted my heart and I lept in and kissed him again. My hands in his hair and his hands on my back. The kiss started to become more intense and –
"YAAAASSSSS! FINALLY! I KNEW IT WOULD HAPPEN BEFORE GRADUATION!" Tucker stood in the door way and jumped in the air, more excited than Danny. I crawled off Danny's lap and sat on his side, a blush starting to creep onto my face. I could see Danny blushing at my side and staring furiously at the floor.
"Lovebirds…" Tucker cooed. This time, we didn't deny it. We continued to watch the movie as Danny embraced his arm around my back and pulled me closer to him. For the first time after the accident, Danny felt warm than icy cool.
xXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXx
Sam sat on the floor, something felt light on her lap. She was in Lancer's classroom. She looked down at her lap and almost gasped out loud. The memories hit her back like a train wreck. DANNY! Her mind could only go to her boyfriend's condition. She didn't, no couldn't, understand what was happening, it was as if his mind was fighting internally to gain control of the overall body. Tucker sat right next to her looking at her curiously.
"Sam, are you ok? You just went into a hypnotic trance…" he patted her back in confirmation as if to bring her back to reality.
"Yeah, yeah… I'm-I'm not fine. Look at him! How do we… shit Danny!" My mind was racing for a solution, but his "episode" had not been anything she had seen before. Outside an ambulance siren was ringing. If they took Danny, they'd… no. I can't let them take him.
"Tuck, lets take him and go. An ambulance is here" Sam whispered in Tuck's ear. She wanted to leave, she wanted to run. She wanted to keep her promise. "I promise…" she whispered as tears spilled down her cheeks onto Danny's unconscious body. His heartbeat was fainter than usual, and he had turned an uncharacteristically shade of white. He wasn't even stabbed, if he leaves me, I'll –
"Ms. Manson, Mr. Foley, a stretcher has arrived. Let's help the EMT's get him on to there." Lancer pleaded
Tuck was just about to grab Danny and help her get him the hell out of there when suddenly Danny started mumbling something. What? Sam mouthed at Tuck and he shrugged in reply. Danny repeated the mumbling and it increased in volume slowly:
"promises, pRoMiSeS, PrOmIsEs, PROMISES…" the students who were whispering among themselves became quiet and everyone stopped moving. Danny sprung up from Sam's lap and stood tall. His eyes opened rapidly, displaying 2 blue circles, his normal eyes.
Instantaneously, a bright ring appeared at Danny's waist and slowly split in two. Red sweatshirt and jeans replaced by a black and white jumpsuit. Raven colored hair replaced by pure white hair. His blue eyes blinked open and shone a hazardous bright green. The clumsy, wimpy Danny Fenton had transformed into the powerful Danny Phantom. His expression was shocked, like he was in a subconscious state.
Gasps and screams emitted from the students and they all broke out in hysteria:
Fenturd... is my idol?!
The-The ghost boy… is wait what?
Is he… dead?
How long has he hid this secret?
Great Phantom of the Opera!
Sam was just as shocked as Tuck, by judging the expression on his face. It seemed as Danny unknowingly transformed. I guess it's time they all knew that he risks his life everyday to save their sorry asses. Danny stood there, well hovered there, and took in the scene. The moment when realization hit him in the face was visible, it contorted into a grimace.
Someone had been taking a video of the entire class period and had already posted it online. The news, oh my god. The-the Guys in White… no.
"N-n-no, no, no. I-It's not what it looks like…" Danny said as he hovered backwards, stumbling into a wall. I could tell his anxiety was increasing steadily. I stood up and grabbed his hand and squeezed.
"Daniel, WHAT is the meaning of this? Are you… are you Phantom?" Lancer questioned, Sam could tell he was putting the puzzle pieces together in his mind, it wasn't that oblivious at this point.
"I-I-" and then he flew, out of the room as fast as he could. The wind created by his sudden vanish blew some stray strands of hair into my face. I promised him I would help. So I’ll do the only thing I can think of.
"EVERYBODY, QUIET!" all the students turned towards Sam, she hadn’t noticed students from other classes had joined the commotion. Tuck grabbed her hand and helped her stand up. He patted her back as a message to continue. Her heart was beating rapidly in her chest. She released a breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding.
"He-he, its not our secret to tell… um… he'll tell u on his own." Sam dashed out of the room and Tuck followed her. The dashed through the halls, students crowded around her. The commotion in the halls was noisy and it became hard to hear. But she heard a faint "Ms. Manson wait!" She pushed on faster, racing to the doors. Not only was there an ambulance waiting outside, but white vans started to block up the front entrance of the school.
A pair of hands grabbed her ankle and she was pulled down through the ground. Tuck was pulled with her as they went intangible into a basement. When she reached the floor she looked up to a pair of wide neon green eyes staring back at her.
"Shit Danny, we're screwed." My arms were trembling, and my mind was clouded with the horrifying moments that just occurred.
"I know…" he said in a raspy voice before collapsing onto to cold concrete floor, exhausted to the extent of unconsciousness.

Fresh Start (Hunt x MC)
[A little note: After that chapter with Viktor Montemartre..I just have a lot of conflicting feelings. So on a whim, I wrote this. There isn’t a lot of details in regards to what happened, I feel like sexual harassment is a very tenative topic, and if you aren’t comfortable with any mentions of it - feel free to ignore seeing this across your dash. Plus I’ve waited like 10 years to write hunt x mc fanfiction lol. P.S. If you read this, thanks so much for reading! I’ve been feeling really down about everything, even my writing so this always means a lot!].
[Word Count: 2102]

Her hands are shaking and much to no avail – she cannot get the shaking to stop. They tremble harder the longer she stares, and she stares at them like it is the first time she has paid attention to the smooth planes in her palm.
Yet, very quickly – her hands change.
They turn paler by the second and she watches in complete horror as they warp; blurring until the next time she blinks they are suddenly too big and too board to be hers; too manicured to belong to her. An image of Viktor Montmartre burns itself through the wall she’s placed inside her head.
Her heart nearly comes to a stop and the music pulsating around her quickly filters out. It becomes background noise while she studies her hands. It’s impossible – she knows it cannot be his hands that is attached to her skin and yet her haggard mind seems to feel differently.
Her stomach drops and she clenches her fists. She digs little moons into her palms as she forcibly drops them to her sides. She has to convince herself that it isn’t real – not this part.
The alcohol simply isn’t doing its justice.
She shifts forward into her bar stool and catches sight of her phone’s bright light from the corner of her eyes. She ignores the incoming text from her friends and grits her teeth.
She swears she can still feel his stare, gazing at her hungrily despite her protests and indignation when he suggested she slept with him. She can still feel his breath unwantedly grazing her neck when he pulled her solidly against his chest, and his fingers tugged her into him, reeking of cologne before she finally managed to wrench herself free.
She squeezes her eyes shut and forces the bile she feels rising to her throat back. She can’t think like that. She can’t let him win.
Today marks two weeks since it happened, two weeks since the moment she walked away from Viktor Montmartre’s…nauseating and horrifying deal. She knows she’s shut her friends out in the days she chose to spend moping inside her home with only her ocelot for company. Shutting everyone out has been the only way for her to pretend she’s okay but after two weeks, she could ignore them no longer.
Tonight is supposed to be some kind of celebration from her leaving her home and joining them back in the waking world. Although she doesn’t have anything lined up after the action movie deal blew up in her face – she’s kept a wide berth from the public.
You’re here to have fun Tate, not to mope. A small voice implores her, begs her as she watches the empty shot glass in front of her.
Except the thought of his cold hands on her – it isn’t something she can easily forget. Even after the rounds of shots she’s done, even after the fourteen days since she bounded the steps of his manor – it doesn’t feel quite like it’s over. For her, it’s still happening, as if any minute now the door of this club would open and her blood would run cold once she meets his chilly stare across the room.
She has to get out of here.
She’s already half-way off the stool, chugging the new shot she’s ordered when her brain persists and orders her to stop. No Tate, you can’t think like that. You can’t give him that kind of power over you – that satisfaction that he’s broken you.
The words don’t sound like her; they sound like her mother on the night when she told her. Like a tidal wave, the words sweep her into its embrace, providing her strength she’s never known she was capable of. And for a moment, she wants to push past the fear that threatens to cripple her. She can’t let something like this ruin her – she won’t let it. And yet, it doesn’t stop the insidious thoughts from filtering through after finding cracks she’s tried so desperately behind to slip through.
“Excuse me,Tatum...?”
Her eyes fly open at the familiar voice’s greeting. To say it’s unexpected was putting it mildly. She places an arm across the bar counter to steady herself as she turns to meet his expression. Thomas Hunt in the flesh is standing a littles less than five feet from her – looking concerned as ever as his eyes sweep up and down to take in her dishelmed appearance.
Five shots of tequila definitely did not do the trick. “Thomas Hunt?” She says uncertaintly, “The Thomas Hunt? – The one that wanted to sign me on his next new movie?” She’s babbling but she can’t help it, she thinks if she stops she won’t have anything more to distract herself with. She thinks if she stops, she’ll think of Viktor.
“The very one and the same,” he replies good-naturedly. “Good evening, are you –” He steps closer and involuntarily she winces. His brows creases. “Are you quite alright?”
Yes. It is the automatic answer she’s always given; the answer she’s said without thinking to her friends ever since it happened. “Yes, I’m fine.” She tries to keep her voice steady but thinks she fallen short of her mark the moment he frowns.
“You aren’t alright,” he says this a matter-of-factly, but doesn’t seem capable of pursing it any further.
Tatum thinks he’s waiting for her to say more. “What are you doing here?” She tries to change the subject instead; deflecting and directing attention off herself has always been one of her best coping mechanisms. “I thought this wasn’t your sort of thing.” She’s proud of herself for finding it in her to keep her voice light, and teasing. Already she can feel the buzz fading, receding and forcing her thoughts to the present. Need more alcohol, she thinks to herself while she waits for his answer.
She hails the bartender for another drink with the flick of her wrist. “It isn’t a celebration without drinks. What’s your poison?”
“I prefer to order for myself,” Thomas interjects thinly. “Although, I hardly think this place can meet the standards of my particular palette.”
“We can try.” The bartender states flatly, although he’s cordial enough to smile.
Thomas orders and mercifully, the bartender does his best to follow his crisp directions.
Silence falls between them for the better half of a minute while they wait for the arrival of their drinks. Tatum turns to him, “I thought you were too good to be seen in places like this.”
“Oh, I am,” Thomas replies shortly, tucking his hands into his tailored coat. “I was just…” he trails off for a moment, seeming lost in thought. “After I heard about what happened with Tommy Phelps…”
Hearing his name and the movie that was completely out of her hands makes Tatum wince. She downs her drink quickly as Thomas pauses again; his brows forming that familiar crease again.
“Perhaps this is better discussed in a more private area.”
Viktor Montmartre’s cruel smirk grips her mind. The reaction is instantaneous. She flinches, and sucks in a deep breath. Her reaction is pure instinct and instead of taking his outstretched arm, she reels away and clenches her hands into fist at her sides. The words come out in a rush, hot and angry as she points flippantly at him. “I am not going anywhere with you.” She storms past him and ignores the quizzical look on his face.
“I think there is some confusion –”
“Oh, there’s no confusion.” She whips her head around; gray eyes the colour of cement steel as they glare up at him. I’m not going to be a victim – never ever again. “Whatever you’re offering – I don’t want it.”
“Tatum,” his eyes flash with confusion but she isn’t fooled.
“Anything you need to say to me, you can say it here!” She yells, folding her arms.
“I’m not where this…aggression is coming from, but I assure you – the quality of my movie would far than rival anything else Tommy Phelps had in store for you. In fact,” he steps a little closer; his voice lowering to match his shrewd gaze. “I think it’s impervious we go forward with making you my lead.”
Her eyes widen. The smart-ass remark she’s been sitting on for the last several minutes vanishes. “You – what?” She stares up at him in disbelief. Even after every curve ball Viktor has tried to block in her career – and Tommy Phelps dropping her as his lead; she didn’t think anyone in this city wanted to work with her ever again.
“I require you for my movie.” He implores, “no one has been able to fill the shoes I know you can fill.” His eyes search hers; more open and honest than she thinks is possible for someone like Thomas Hunt. “They all fall a little short in some fashion and I,” He averts his eyes for a moment, “I would be a fool no to take advantage of such raw talent.”
Tatum stares at him, completely stunned. The last thing she had anticipated was this. Involuntarily, tears seem to swell from the corner of her eyes. “You want to work with…me?”
“I thought that was obvious, yes.” He says impatiently.
“But, you shouldn’t.” She can’t believe she’s saying this but she knows enough about Thomas Hunt and the quality he creates that her current reputation presented a predicament. She isn’t a fool to think he hasn’t heard what Viktor has said about her – all the horrid things he sold to gossip magazines as her coming onto to him as a way of using his success to climb her way to the top. “You’re better off finding someone that isn’t…” She trails off, staring blankly her feet. Someone that hasn’t been tarnished by the media.
The impatient noise he makes at the back of her throat throws her. She stares up at him; watching those often intense-looking dark brown eyes flicker over in annoyance. “If you’re looking for pity Tatum you won’t find that here. I was under the impression that you were a hard worker and your passion for acting seemed second to none.” A frown flits over his face, “if something as ridiculous as rumors will deter you so easily then perhaps you are not what I am looking for.”
As he turns to leave, she stares at his retreating figure. He doesn’t believe in them, he doesn’t care about rumors, Tatum thinks with a jolt of surprise. She doesn’t know why – but realizing he isn’t concerned with such things, makes her heart flutter.
Tatum shakes her head clear. She knows she’s running out of options – the upkeep of her home alone won’t pay for itself without something. And while she cannot remember the important details of his script, Tatum recognizes that this was one of those-once-in-a-lifetime opportunities her mother had used endlessly talk about the last time she did a talent show.
Tatum’s hands extend and reach for his arm without even thinking. “Wait!”
His body comes to a complete stop so swiftly that she nearly knocks into him. Digging her feet into her heels, she plants them with enough force to stop herself from tittering over embarrassingly into him. “I’ll do it.” She says quietly. At the quirk of his eyebrows, she quickly rushes on. “I’ll accept your deal.” She takes a ragged breath. “I want to be the next lead in your movie.”
For a moment, Tatum fears he won’t accept her sudden change of heart. His eyes are too hard to read in this light, and although he hasn’t moved away as though he’s quietly deliberating on something – she’s suddenly struck with panic that he’s withdrawn his offer.
Then the strangest thing happens.
Thomas smiles.
He smiles and Tatum thinks she has never seen something as beautiful as his smile in her entire life. She has always thought the director was handsome, one of the richest bachelors in his own rite but the way those lips of his move; unaccustomed to the confident smile – she feels light-headed.
His face seems to linger on hers’, flits down to her lips; or perhaps she is seeing things once they meet her earnest gaze.
And just as quickly, the smile fades as his hand reached out to steady her. His smile is replaced by a curt nod as he drops his hands back to his sides. “I will see you bright and early tomorrow.” He hands her a card in flourish.
“Tomorrow?” She echoes dumbfoundedly. His name is printed in large and eloquent cursive writing along with an obscure logo from the dainty piece of paper.
“Tomorrow.” He repeats, and before Tatum can thank him – he is already gone; moving through the crowd at a terse pace to escape the music and the people.
She hides a smile as her thumb traces over the thick letters of his name, hoping this deal is exactly the fresh start she needs.

Shocker.... (A Newt Scamander Whump) Chapter 1
Summary: Did Newt really defeat Graves without a Scratch? Will Tina be able to save Newt before it’s too late?

Thanks to my wonderful Beta named NeahZoldyck13, she has currently beta this chapter and currently fixing the other chapters ;)
The dimly lit train station tunnels were alive with the distant echoes of an intense dispute between a magizoologist and the director of MACUSA's magical defense. Newt tried his best to defend himself from the powerful wizard, Percival Graves, by weaving in and out of the tunnel's large brick pillars.
He managed to dodge the blue electric bolts that Graves flung at him. Graves was an accomplished wands-men, he specialized in wand dueling and not only that, he didn't need his wand or words to generate a basic enchantment. Newt was baffled at the man's determination for the boy, Graves was the M.A.C.U.S.A 's head of security, what could he possibly do with the Obscurus. Newt's mind swirled with assumptions, and then it hit him, he prayed his theory wasn't true.
Meanwhile, Credence stumbled down the tracks oblivious to the train that was fast approaching him. Graves waved his hand, and the boy was thrown out of the train's way, just in the nick of time too. Satisfied he then continued to assault Newt with various spells. Newt frantically dodged his attacks but he wasn't fast enough, and Graves gave a swift flick of his jet-black ebony wand, sending a blue spark that stuck Newt dead on, knocking him to the cold hard ground. The magical current surged through Newt, he screamed as extreme white-hot throbbing pain and his body spazzed from the electrical currents. Newt instantly felt his lungs seized and his heart rate escalate drastically.
Credence got his feet and watched in fear as the strange, timid man fell to his knees, withering into a fetal position on the steel tracks. Credence was in distress, he wanted to help the friendly man in the blue coat, but he didn't know what to do. After all, he was just a freak, "NO!" The bitter voice that resembled his deceased mother corrected him, he was a monster. Credence winced at the abusive women's distant voice, telling him that over and over as the voice mocked and teased him.
Newt attempted to defend himself from Graves's wrath, but Graves shielded his efforts with great ease. Newt felt exhausted; his body was scorched and was protesting every movement making it in too much shock to respond fast enough. Graves persisted in attacking, flicking his wand continuously, lighting the tunnel with flashes of blue. Newt was helpless, and he desperately tried to regain focus as his body twitched at each shot that he failed to shield. Graves had the upper hand, and his eyes were set on Credence.
Graves took a break from attacking the crippled wizard that laid dazed on the ground and decided to make his move on Credence.
"Credence? I'm terribly sorry, I was wrong about you…" he paused "You're no squib there my boy, for you" he pointed at him, shaking his finger with a wide grin, 'Are absolutely beautiful." Graves chocolate eyes sparkled at the boy "And all I want is for you to join me so I can show you your true potential" He said in coaxing tone;
Credence stared at Percival like a deer in the headlights. He'd believed for years that his mother was right, he was useless, except now Graves spoke of him having potential? Was Graves someone to trust? The enticing man then started to approach Credence, but his only obstacle was that annoying obstinate wizard that stood between him and Credence. Newt managed to get up and took a shot a Graves, but it was brushed off like a fly.
Newt twisted his head to Credence with wide green eyes "Don't listen to him Credence! You can trust me; he will hurt you!" He wheezed, it was getting harder to breathe.
Graves scolded the determined wizard and sighed with frustration. Newt was caught by surprise. For just a split-second, he'd dropped his shield and Graves manage to cast his hex with a wave of his hand. The train's rusted tracks groaned and began to lift like a tidal wave, sending Newt flying in its wake. This startled Credence who was confused about the situation, he could feel the darkness take over, and his Obscurus beginning to awaken again.
Newt let out a whimper as he plummeted to the unforgiving ground with a thud, hearing his hand and shoulder crack in response. The pain he felt tripled. Newt had no time to deal with his injuries and without thinking he'd quickly grabbed his wand with his good right hand and apparated, knowing what was to become of Credence's obscurus.
Credence Obscurus raged. Graves looked at the angry cloud forming above him, and he apparated as well. The obscurus burst through the tunnel ceiling leaving a gaping hole through the roof; it arrived outside the station. The crowd of No-Majs screamed as the dark mass broke through the force field the M.A.C.U.S.A had made.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Newt groaned as he leaned against the station's smooth brick tunnel walls. His lungs gasped for air. His adrenaline had died down now, and he had quickly remembered that the searing pain was returning and surely his body was failing. Newt could barely hear; his heart was pounding in his ears, and his vision was blurry. Quitting wasn't an option. He had to save Credence before Graves could get to him or worse!
Newt recalled a bottle of Phoenix tears; It was from his beloved teacher, Albus Dumbledore, a gift along with the case. He'd had used them as "painkillers" for his injured animals. Newt reached with his right hand in his coat pocket and searched frantically for it. It was difficult because he was left-handed. Finally, Newt found the small glass vile and he'd let out a raspy sigh of relief, knowing the effects wouldn't last long, but it certainly would tide him over till he sorted this mess out. Drinking the last drops of the tears with a gulp, his hand gripped the wall as he'd tried to regain balance. He was still a little sore since the tear's effects weren't instant, and his muscles still twitched and twinge from Graves' magic.
Newt suddenly heard heavy footsteps behind him. He spun around, reaching for his wand, when he noticed the familiar figure with short charcoal colored hair; it was Tina. Newt relaxed. Never before had he been so content to hear her beautiful voice again.
"Newt!? What's happening, where's Credence!?" she exclaimed. She seemed flustered about the situation.
"He's by the tracks with Graves. Hurry, we need to get to him first!" Newt said with urgency.
Instantly he grabbed Tina by her arm and waved his wand, and they apparated back to where they had left the two.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tina's eyes searched the bent tracks frantically for the boy, but all she found was a dark cloud that was now Credence. She gasped in horror as Graves approached the unstable child at an alarming pace. Credence panicked as his brain pictured a belt in his mother's hands. The darkness swarmed his mind, and his obscures grew into an even bigger thick black cloud of chaos and immense darkness.
"No, No, No!" Credence shrieked, digging his nails into his head, Newt panicked he didn't know how to settle the dangerous child. Newt was startled when a calm but shaky voice rang out through the station. He watched as Tina spoke to Credence attempting to calm him down.
"Credence, stop" her voice echoed through the tunnel "Don't do this please, I know what that woman did to you, but Newt and I will protect you" Credence heard her and relaxed, his obscurus shrank, and she began to see the outlines of the boy. "Please, I just need you to calm down for me, ok?" Tina spoke in a reassuring tone.
Just as she finished, Picuery's voice bellowed through the tunnel and the M.A.C.U.S.A rushed in from the tunnel's entrance. Everyone had turned to view the group as they got in formation. Picuery's eyes flashed in fear as the dark mass was angered and grew once more. She was fearful of what would happen next, but she stood with great poise. She ordered her aurors to ready their wands and expel the threat.
"No! Stop!" Tina shrieked. She attempted to run to Credence, but Newt held her down.
Picuery was oblivious to Tina's pleas to stop, for she was too late. The black cloud was pelted by hundreds of spells from the aurors. Credence's blood-curdling scream filled the air and echoed through the station. Tina and Newt watched in horror as the M.A.C.U.S.A executed the boy, his obscurus form exploded into black shreds. The remains showered the air, but in the corner of Newt's eye, he could see a strand of black wisp escape the scene, this made Newt lighten with hope.
The silence broke as Graves turned to face Picuery with a threatening expression on his face as he spoke up. Picuery's eyes shot a cold, stern look his way. She was furious that he had betrayed them, causing so much havoc. "You fools, do you all realize what you have just done?" Graves spoke in a scary calm tone looking at Picquery with fire in his eyes;
"He was dangerous. He'd murdered a No-Maj and broke our most sacred law!" Picquery answered with authority.
"A law that makes us scuttle like rats that hide in the gutter, A law that makes us hide our true nature for the fear of discovery?" he said, sarcastically ranting. "I ask you… who does this law really protect, us or them?" His finger pointed to the hole in the ceiling where the No-Maj's were standing by.
