Back in December, I got ~a pound of parmesan in a white elephant swap at work.
On a trip to Meijer a week or two ago, I bought a pound of shredded cheese because it was on sale and I figured I may as well.
that said: it still surprises me that I have 4 pounds, 10 oz of cheese in the fridge after culling everything past its prime yesterday. 12 oz of it is gruyere that I meant to use in cauliflower dauphinois for Easter, but how does the rest of it stack up in there? Truly, there is nowhere like the fridge to illustrate the truth of "out of sight, out of mind."
