mo xuanyu is so funny to me because imagine you are the biggest fan of this (allegedly) terrible wizard guy who was assassinated for doing evil magics. then you end up dead and the wizard possesses your body, beats the absolute shit out of your family members on accident, mortal kombat style, then makes them into zombies. if his soul wasn't obliterated i bet he'd think it was the funniest shit ever

i like how straight people have violently built up a system to uphold heterosexuality and the patriarchy yet they still make all these works of art about how heterosexual romance is the worst thing that can possibly happen to a person

I do not get the carabiner with the keys by the belt thing tbh. Ive never seen someone do that who was not doing it for fashion and it seems like such an uncomfortable place for keys to be. And maybe its just bc i love to roll around on the ground but wouldnt you be scared about snapping the keys. Do people just buy decoy keys just for fashion

Pride Month is No Reason to Be Proud
Here we go again.  Many will be celebrating June as another pride month.  Wal Mart is apparently one of the latest companies to jump on the pride bandwagon.  This year, they will be selling their new “Pride Always” collection, including products like a notebook that says, “beyond gender,” a tote bag that says, “totes gay,” a fanny pack with “I heart gay people” on it and rainbow-colored products…

kingdom of little wounds is a (very good) YA historical novel that is, basically, about pervasive degradation and sexual violence in an early renaissance scandanavian royal court. prince & knight is a cute board book for small children about a prince who gets rescued from a dragon by a handsome knight and then they get married. it’s about cuteness, and incidentally about gay. kingdom of little wounds has a main character have a bloody miscarriage while standing in front of a church and another character who is slowly going insane from advanced syphilis over the course of 580 pages. a man’s severed penis is eaten by, I seem to recall, some birds.

[image ID: screenshot of two replies to a reddit post.
first reply: "damn I love this, it's the true gay agenda - being petty."
second reply: "we're here, we're queer, and we're petty."

“LGBTQIA Refugees: Fleeing Uganda"
“Lady Tina and Pretty Peter were previously jailed in Uganda for their trans lifestyle and experienced sexual assault. In May 2023, Uganda criminalized same-sex conduct for those convicted of ‘aggravated homosexuality,’ even though the Anti-Homosexuality Act of 2023 violates some of the fundamental rights guaranteed under Uganda’s constitution. Uganda’s penal code already punishes same-sex conduct with life imprisonment, but the new law legislates on new crimes, such as the ‘promotion of homosexuality’; introduces the death penalty for several acts considered as ‘aggravated homosexuality’; and increases sentences for attempted same-sex conduct to 10 years. Anyone advocating for the rights of LGBT people now faces up to 20 years imprisonment. Many LGBTQIA people have been forced to flee the country and are now in fragile safe houses in Kenya.”
