Aemond x Alys is pretty similar to Euron x Falia imo, I think that's why a lot of people see Alys disliking the Strongs as a valid option. It's not out of nowhere tbh
Except that the text/canon as of 2023 of this month and day (since this is a The Winds of Winter thing) clearly states in no ambiguities that Falia's father allowed her stepmother and sisters to treat her as less-than.
While Alys became a wet nurse, Falia was proven to have been treated as if she were lower than her sisters. Falia is on the spectrum of "needs to get out" vs Alys’ “IDK, maybe? doesn’t have to leave until we get more info”. Alys' situation needs more evidence and stronger suggestions of Strong abuse meriting hatred than what F&B gives us.
And if she was abused and welcomed the deaths of all/some of her distant kin at Aemond's hands, that would be pretty horrific for her still. Seeing as there were children and probably male infants there that Aemond killed. F&B says the entire male line. If there were no kids or babies killed, it's still a massacre of innocent, surrendering adults performed in front of your very eyes. If that happened in front of me, I'd be terrified for my own life and those that I actually liked and cared for, plus men rape captured women and children....so, the girls and women aren't guaranteed safety.
I would not like her much (understatement) but I would still say that she was a victim of Aemond. War prizes are no joke people. It reminds me of how people would try to justify Robert hurting and raping Cersei for her either annoying him or just because she herself is an abusive, evil person. No one deserves rape and being made into a sex object.
While wet nurses again had thankless jobs, I already stated why I need more HERE.

Do you have any pictures of Christopher Hewett from Mr. Belvedere? I used to love to watch that show to see Hewett and Bob Uecker!
Damn… how the hell did I forget about him and that show. How much I watched that show when it was on, plus reruns and I forgot Christopher Hewett and Bob Uecker?
Sadly, no. But I plan to rectify that as soon as possible.

Sergei then started the second set by putting himself on the board with a service game hold to 1-0. Somehow, it took several games before Alfie started minimizing the gap. This was followed by a break of serve to 4-1 after an erratic service game was followed by an intuitive volley from Alfie to add to his already anticipative service game.
Alfie then held his serves to 5-1 with a backhand down-the-line winner. Although Sergei's raw potential was on display as he minimized the gap through a working volley, Alfie still had a match point a point later, where he served the second-set breadstick (6-1) thanks to a forehand winner to secure his spot in the third round. Somehow, they had a warm embrace at the net, where Alfie hoped to see Sergei in a Grand Slam with the raw potential he has.

I made these black woollen trousers to go with these two tops I made earlier. The trouser pockets are the same Vlisco fabric as the asymmetric top. The fabric of the blouse might be real silk(?), but I got it secondhand for 3 euros! It reminds me of a map, and I love the green on gold.
Trouser pattern is from Knipmode, october 2019, asymmetric top from Jen Hewett's Print, Pattern, Sew (but I added the pleat), and the blouse pattern is Bruna from La Maison Victor with just the collar stand instead of the regular collar.

Mr. Belvedere (TV Series) - Christopher Hewett
Watching this as a kid, I didn't appreciate it the way I do now as an adult.
What?
A show staring Hewett and Bob Uecker. As a daddy lover, was perfect.

Although some parts of the flow looked like Alfie was sailed for the gold, T. Oda did not back down as he tried to find some ways back up again. As the former fumbled T. Oda's 2 game points through his forehand winners, Alfie tried to extend some more rallies, where even if his first break point made due to a backhand winner was foiled, he converted it thanks to his backhand return ace (1-0) only to be broken back (1-1) thanks to T. Oda's forehand return winner in continuation to Alfie's +1 backhand error. Somehow, Alfie broke back again to 2-1 due to T. Oda’s +1 error right after he found his forehand to lead somewhere before having the said break point. Subsequently, Alfie consolidated his lead with a third-shot backhand winner, and found himself holding his serves to 4-2 after a third-shot lob turned out to be in.
Subsequently, Alfie tried to minimize the gap with a forehand winner at the game where T. Oda held his serves to 4-3, but the Japanese second seed kept adding more pressure from his groundstrokes as his return aces helped him to lead by 2 points, followed by Alfie’s 3 consecutive volleys to create his game point before he had a massive hold to 5-3. Things started to get genuine in the next game, where Alfie’s preceding backhand to T. Oda’s forehand error equalized the point before his other backhand pass to the Japanese second seed’s forehand error created his initial match point. However, a poor shot selection that ended up in Alfie’s failed drop shot saved his own championship point, but he still prevented T. Oda to hold his serves as his return winner forced another deuce. Ultimately, T. Oda scored a massive hold to 5-4 in the third set, forcing Alfie to serve for the championship as the possible final premise.
The story did not end at the tenth game, as T. Oda’s forehand return ace paved the way before he had 2 break-back points. Even if Alfie’s shot winner landed right on the line to save one of the break points, T. Oda scored a forehand winner to Alfie’s backhand error for a break-back to 5-5. From here, the 18-year-old held his serves to 6-5, which played a significant role judging from what happened at the next game. There, T. Oda struck the ball cleaner, starting the game with a fourth-shot forehand winner before his forehand return ace created his initial championship point. Even if Alfie saved one of them with an unreturned serve, T. Oda’s anticipative forehand return to Alfie’s backhand error converted it, breaking for the third set 7-5 to secure the gold medal, as well as becoming the youngest player to win the Men’s Wheelchair Singles gold medal.
