#this scene was just so fucking powerful#speaking honestly...if the vn had actually had these scenes when it came out almost 7 years ago...i would have been satisfied#the halloween party + this chapter is basically all the closure i had ever wanted#umineko#umineko no naku koro ni#sg2 rereads umineko#sg2 reads twilight#umineko manga#if ryukishi had just not been so hung up on that small but vocal part of the fanbase#if he had just carried out his message without worrying so much about concealing the facts in the catbox from those who didn't earn it#if the ep8 vn had even an ounce of the emotional weight the ep8 manga has shown me thus far#i never would have ragequit this series for all those years#but i suppose one of the messages of umineko is not getting hung up on 'what if's#what matters is that i've finally got a version of ep8 i feel i can be satisfied with#after hating on and avoiding it for so many years#thank you natsumi kei#and i guess...thank you ryukishi for your change of heart and decision to make this manga possible
