hello friendo- i can't pay you for writing something and i'm mad about it,,but um!! could i get a short story/bulleted apollo proposal??? thanks, you're amazing-

   It’s alright! Those are largely for people looking for SI/Canon stuff or just as, like...a tip for my work. And I’ve got two commissions to work on, so I’m doing alright!

   In the meantime, first time writing Apollo! I hope I can do him Justice for ya~! [badum tssh]

He thought it wasn’t going to be hard. Sure, picking out a ring was a bit tough and deciding how he’d like to propose was a mess of wording, but he felt ready! He loves you so much!! All he has to do is take you to dinner, have a nice time-

...He can’t do it. Holy shit. This is terrifying.

He goes back to the Wright Anything Agency in shame, even though Phoenix, Trucy, and Athena are actually very kind to his plight. It’s hard to feel confident when it feels like anything can happen, huh?

“Feelings like that are why I understand I don’t have job security.” -Phoenix

“...Wow. Great help.” -Athena

It goes from a one-man-plan into the WAA helping him out. Phoenix and Trucy band together to create a lovely evening. Athena hangs out with you more to talk about relationships.

Widget isn’t the most subtle...necklace-robot around, but she makes do. It’s still kinda.....suspicious, though.

(You just can’t keep talking about proposals, Athena. It gets suspicious after a while.)

So when Apollo asks you on another date a few weeks later (after apologizing for being so busy with planning this proposal work), you’re feeling a little...suspicious.

New place, but excellent food... After that, you kinda forget you were being suspicious. Especially since Apollo’s eager to make you smile and laugh. The place feels fancy, but goofing around with your boyfriend makes things feel fun!

There’s a park not too far from there, so you go for a walk. Moon’s on the rise, there’s a lit up gazebo up ahead...with people? Seems like there’s an event up ahead complete with a band. You don’t wanna intrude, but it seems like Apollo knows the people and-

“Would... Would you like to dance with me?” There’s a song ending, but he’s timing it right enough that you could start on the next.

“I’m not the best dancer, though...!”

“It’ll be fine. Promise. I can help you.” He’s not the greatest either, but... Can’t be that hard, right?

It’s a lot of step and turn, really. A bit of swaying. It’s lovely and simple and you can’t stop yourself from blushing cause ever since you’ve started dancing he hasn’t taken his eyes off of yours.

Well... Now or never, right?

“I’ve been trying to figure out how to say this all night,” he begins, a hint of nervousness in his tone, but he’s begun. No turning back now. “How wonderful you are. How supportive of me you been... Letting me support your dreams in turn.

“You’ve been nothing but amazing. My inspiration in everything I do. When things get bad... I can just remember I’ll be seeing you soon, remembering your smile, and I instantly am ready to take on the world...or just the court.” (That makes you giggle and he smiles, but keeps going?!)

“You’ve already been with me for so long... Seen so much along with me. Helped me through so much...and I’ve done the same for you. You feel like home...and if you’d agree, I’d, uh... I’d like to really make it a home.”

That’s when he slows your turns to a halt, pulling away so he can drop to a knee and pull out a dark red, velvet box. Opening it, the ring inside.

“[Y/N]... Will you marry me?”

.....The tears were immediate. The words, the soft, gentle look in his eyes... It’s hard to not cry.

“Of course...!”

He ends up crying a little, too; from nerves and getting to finally put that ring on your finger. He did it...!

Of course Phoenix, Trucy, and Athena had blended into the crowd of friends with some creative choices (a hat for Phoenix to lessen notice of his spiky hair, Trucy had really dolled up to be less noticeable, and Athena had worn a yellow dress...but stayed more in the back, in the shadows, to make herself less noticeable, as well). So once the hug-fest calms, they walk over to congratulate you two, as well!

Other friendly faces make themselves known, as well?! Edgeworth, Klavier, Franziska, Gumshoe, Ema.... It’s amazing!
