Aaron grew up in Falcon Claw being called a 'wild boy'. His parents were never the happiest when he'd sneak away from his sword-fighting lesson, or his archery class and disappear into the Sacred Forest for hours at a time. There were dire wolves in the woods near their town, Derrek had lost an arm to the bastard things, and a number of their guards had been hunted and killed by them.
Dires had a nasty habit of actively hunting humans and human-adjacent beings, so their six-year old son and only heir to the Lordship of Falcon Claw running off into dire wolf territory everyday was a problem.
But Aaron didn't care. He just wanted to go off and have fun with his best friend, Lily. He loved the forest, and the forest, however cursed his parents said it was, seemed to love him right back. The animals flocked to him. He could fish with bears and run with deer and climb with squirrels, and none of them bother him.
Until one day, as he and Lily fed apples to the local deer herd, the peaceful animals suddenly scattered. They vanished into the forest in a panic, and neither of the children could see why.
Until a pair of crimson eyes flashed in the shadows of the undergrowth. A low, guttural snarl rose up out of the brush, and a jet black wolf the size of his father's horse came stalking out. Lips peeled back, eyes blazing with a hunger Aaron had never seen before. He stood between the monstrous wolf and his friend as another great beast came prowling forwards, this one silver.
Then a third, and a fourth. And five, six, seven, until the air was trembling with their growls, hot with their breath. The forest was silent aside from Aaron's own beating heart, and Lily's panicked, raspy breathing near his ear.
When a howl split the tension, and the pack of dire wolves raised their heads and turned. A much smaller, leaner wolf came lunging from the bushes, latching on the shoulders of the nearest Dire. Then another followed it, leaping and driving its teeth into the thick skin of the same one.
More of the smaller wolves came bursting from the bushes, howling and barking and growling as they clung to the backs of the dire wolves and stuck like ticks. The black dire wolf turned and retreated, and the rest followed suit, battering against trees to shake the smaller canines from their pelts.
It was only after the Dires were gone that Aaron realised- the wolves weren't wolves- they were stood partially upright, and their front paws looked almost like hands. They had on furs around their chests and waists, and some carried spears on their backs. They were werewolves.
One came running up to him and Lily, a child, it seemed, her fur dark grey with a lavender-hue. She was followed by two more, one a ruddy brown, and the other blond with patches of white.
The lavender wolf bounced right up, shifting halfway through a step into a human form a little taller than Aaron, with messy purple hair and bright blue eyes, and held out a hand.
"Hi! I'm Dottie, wanna be friends?"

i think about dragons too much so
fuck it: zukka dragon rider au where the fire nation still hunted dragons to the point of extinction (but only in the fire nation so the rest of the world still have their own dragons) and Zuko finds an egg buried somewhere near the edge of the volcano that Caldera was built on and Ozai finds out about the egg but Zuko refuses to tell him where it is because he doesn’t think it’s right to kill an innocent and unborn baby dragon and Ozai burns him so Zuko runs away and smuggles the egg out of the city by stealing a boat.
He’s still badly burned and idk somehow he ends up drifting into water tribe waters. He gets briefly attacked by some wild ocean dragons before being rescued and then captured by SWT warriors.
He and Druk bond some more in “prison” before Hakoda decides that Zuko is only a kid and he’s badly hurt and lets him stay in their village where he’s not adopted by a single family, they all just kinda call him their nephew. He becomes besties with Katara and Sokka (and Katara’s snow dragon) and then 3 years later they all find Aang.
also it’s a friends-to-lovers thing, Zuko and Sokka never really saw each other like That until they started ending up having to fight bad guys a lot (pirates, rogue dragon riders, thieves, regular ol’ bandits) and basically it becomes:
1. wow hot
2. oh god what if he’s hurt.
so there’s lots of tenderly patches the others wounds and “You idiot! Why weren’t you paying attention, now you’re bleeding!”
some more stuff
- the fire nation was basically put in, like, exile because they hunted dragons; and now Ozai wants to rid the rest of the world of dragons bc he thinks fire benders should be the only ones capable of wielding fire
- before they were properly exiled though, Sozin led an attack on the air nomads and wiped most of them out (they’re nomads so i’ve decided they fire nation couldn’t have killed them all)
- there wasn’t a war but there were a lot of attempts at fighting the other nations, but the other nations still had dragons so the fire nation troops were often brutally defeated
- so, kya was still killed by fire benders
- aang was still in the iceberg and appa is still a bison, (but now momo is a dragon native to the air temples)
- only benders can properly bond with dragons, specifically the dragons of their region
- along with mastering all 4 elements, Aang now has to also learn how to communicate with and ride dragons from all 4 nations.
- each nation has their own language, and due to the Fire Nations isolation, Zuko struggles to communicate when they travel, so he mostly just talks to Druk and the Water Tribe Trio. (Sokka, Katara, and Katara’s dragon.)
- in the NWT women aren’t allowed to ride dragons either, so Katara and her Dragon throw hands with Pakku
- the raid on the NWT doesn’t happen and Yue ends up joining the group and then later falls in love with a badass Kyoshi warrior (Suki).
dragon ideas!!
- the water tribe dragons are designed for the ocean and the ice: some can breathe underwater, some have nice fluffy coats as an extra protection against blizzards, most are very thick and warm and have strong legs and stronger claws for gripping ice, they don’t tend to breathe fire; usually water dragons can “breathe” very hot or very cold water, or very cold air that can freeze whatever it comes into contact with, they eat fish and seals and are very good at hunting in snow
- earth kingdom dragons are burrowers and builders: some of them live underground and are blind like badgermoles, most of them are pretty big and have strong teeth for crushing rocks and have very wide and hooked claws for digging through dirt and stone. they have thick scales that are hard to penetrate and they use their wings for shade and for packing in the dirt around their burrows to make it stronger, and they also use their wings and/or butts to crush enemies/predators against the side of their burrows inspired by wombats. also! inspired by meatlug from the httyd movies, earth dragons eat rocks or dirt in order to breathe fire.
- the dragons in the air temples are hollow-boned like birds, and have big wings for optimal flying/gliding. they live in high-altitudes and entertain themselves by diving towards the ground like falcons, the air nomads used to do it with their gliders as a form of playing. like water dragons, they’re fluffy to withstand the cold of being so high up. the bigger ones are gentle in nature and live entirely off of fruit and long grasses, whereas the smaller ones are cheeky and cunning and will eat insects or small rodents (taking after momo in appearance) they aren’t usually offensive creatures but when forced they can either let loose an explosive scream or blow a thin gust of wind with enough force to bruise or break bones. usually they just whistle and twitter like birds, or use their breathe to warm or dry each other.
- the fire nation dragons are the same as in the show, long and winding and breathing fire; modelled after traditional Japanese dragons. they like sunlight and warmth and could be found draped over large rocks before they were culled. they’ll eat any meat as long as it’s lightly burned and dance with each other to show affection. like firebenders, they need the sun to make fire; but they’re still deadly even without it. there’s not much to come up with for them because they’re already introduced in the show and the original atla world.

Personal ideas on things that would have improved Jurassic World
Starting the movie with the capture of Rexy before the park even opened.
we only see glimpses of her through the trees and are introduced to Vic Hopkins
we then get a montage of the park throughout the years, we would see more of the parks exhibits here, ending with  a conversation between a new scientist character, Dr Wu and either Clair or Masrani, probably Claire, about how to keep park attendance growing, the new scientist would want to strive towards accuracy while Wu would want to make something spectacular. who ever is in charge at this point would say to work on both, but to make sure they are spread out in order to maximize draw.
this will then bring us to the indominus hatching and the kids, i would say they cut out that family drama of the divorce because it didn't really add a lot to the movie other than being a reference to the 1st book
when Claire is showing the business people around and Wu talks about the indominus i would have the other scientist from earlier talk about their stuff of more accurate dinosaurs mentioning the raptors, explaining the old ones were abominations made from all sorts of dromeasaurs that were mislabeled as velociraptor, but the ones now in the park were Dakotaraptors, or another specific group, and are fully feathered. either the scientist or Owen could give this info. Additionally this new scientist could mention how they are giving hormones to their rex in order to prepare for the next attraction after the indominus, to show they still have plans for the far future of the park to the investors
The raptor squad would all be different like in the original  movie and blue would still have her stripe, but they would all have their patterns loosely based off of real birds, a emu, falcon, bald eagle and blue a cassowary
we would have a similar raptor introduction scene, but Owen also does handel the raptors well and in the cage with them when Hopkins wants to weaponize them Owen calls it ridiculous stating he could only do that because he hand raised all of them and even then if he is in there with them he needs to be on guard and read all their behaviors. He also points out that these animals specifically were breed to specifically be seen as animals not monsters or weapons ( if Owen were to give the raptor info this is where he would).  also i would have preferred to show correct clicker training
Hopkins wants to at least test their practicality by searching for old raptors from the first park claiming that even though they've never found concrete evidence of their existence they have found indirect or stuff that may imply there are some and that they know the old raptors were breeding. i would also show Hopkins being bitter for his mercenary  group being used as park security.
i would give Zara more to do, she either needed to be more hated or liked in order to have her deserve and for use to feel something more when she gets arguably the most brutal death in the franchise
When Claire shows Masrani the indominus and they talk about how it will be a great attraction they mention how vocal it is and that it regularly makes loud barks and seems to constantly make noises at frequencies to low for humans to hear.
When the indominus does break out instead of it being due to the stupidity that caused it in the film, i would have it be due to some sort of sabotage from Hopkins. also maybe instead of remembering where they put the tracker in, once it was activated it made a low frequency noise that the indominus heard causing it to claw it out.
i would have also preferred if Owens friend Barry had a larger role
i would have the indominus move into the restricted area first instead of towards the people, this being the justification for not immediately ordering a evacuation of the island
instead of having the kids fix a 20 year old jeep they would probably just be found by security looking for them, after hinting at them being stalked by something unseen in the forest
i liked Masrani’s character and felt maybe he should have been speared, maybe just put into a coma or lost in the jungle. i would have had the pterados be less dedly and a bit more like actual animas here, defiantly causing mayhem, but not as much carnage.
when they do decide to use the raptor squad to track the indominus and they finally corner it it is initially alone but then joined by classic jurassic park raptors that have a stare down with the easily identifiable, because of their feathers, raptor squad. and one of the Jurassic park raptors, the indominus’s beta identifiable by having the lost world male raptor pattern
when the rocket is launched it causes all the animals to panic and attack people including the raptor squad.
in the chaos we see raptors fighting including one member of the raptor squad being killed by the wild beta, it would also be these wild raptors that chase the ambulance, but the raptor squad is still attacking people and more raptors die at this part
we see the other scientist from earlier getting ready to evacuate and garbing a large case that slows them down. in their escape they run into the indominus or a raptor and drop the case either to escape or because they are killed
the visitor center scene happens similarly  with the wild beta being the main one attacking and instead of being stopped by a hologram blue and this beta fight leaving blue victorious
then we have the same raptors vs indominus battle followed by raptor rex battle, maybe the ridiculous factor taken down a bit, just a bit,and instead of the mosasaur jumping out of the water the indominus is pushed into it. where then the mosasaur does its breach taking the indominus in its mouth  and bringing it back down in the water.
Rexy does not stick around to have a moment with blue but quickly wanders off
we have a similar ending but rexy finds the case that was dropped earlier uses her nose to open it and we see an egg cracking, on the final rexy roar she is accompanied by a very small partially feathered baby t-rex
some other major points also include just getting rid of he whole you will want kids thing, that is a over done trope, slightly less kids and more some other characters. also some debates between Wu and the other scientist about whats right and wrong and animals vs monsters, trying to not give a definitive answer. to actually have some feathered dinosaurs and to have one more glimpse of the rex
