SWTOR. The Smuggler gets some of the best class crossovers in the game.

Spoilers for: Sith Warrior Vette convos, Smuggler Risha convos, Trooper Balmorra DS choices, and Imperial Agent Act 3.

The most obvious one is, of course, Vette and Risha’s sister act. I always hoped those two would find each other again.

A subtler one is in the Trooper line. If you end Balmorra by selling the local weapons to the highest bidder, which I definitely would never do, you get a thank-you mail from the dealer who’s going to resell them to a good home. That dealer, with unctuous thanks? Darmas Pollaran.

The delightful one I noticed in this playthrough was a holorecording of Diago, the crime lord and Nok Drayen rival, in some kind of confession/diary thing. It’s just lying next to your quest target, you don’t have to watch it. But if you do...

Remember where else we see Nok Drayen? In the Star Cabal, assuming nobody stole his face there. Diago knew. He didn’t know what he knew, but he knew it.

Darth Baras, every time i think I understand how great you are, you come up with another dizzying insight about how great you are.

What I truly adore is that this man tells you everything you need to know on Korriban and Dromund Kaas. Everything. It’s all there. Hell, it’s all in the above conversation, where he a) brutally tortures a spy to get to the bottom of his own paranoid presentiment, b) congratulates you on killing the deep-cover spy who served as his other apprentice, c) says “Every Sith must attempt to orchestrate his own promotion”, d) talks about the power he covets, and e) indicates he’s sending you on a probable suicide mission but that’s fine by him. That’s it. That’s Darth Baras.

Absolutely stellar character.
