Threw everything under a read more because this ended up being longer than intended, but there’s a little bit for every girl - Zoey, Winona, Eva, Andy and Elizabeth vvvv

Zoey & Ian: Zoey and Ian met in Shady Sands and their relationship started as a strict, non nonsense, mutually beneficial arrangement for both of them. Zoey needed the outside world knowledge Ian offered, as well as his combat expertise, and Ian needed someone to accompany him, since his injuries made it impossible to go back to a life of wandering alone. Since both are very quiet and closed off by nature, it took a while for them to open up, but they eventually started to share stories during their travels, Ian of everything he’s experienced living on the surface and Zoey about her life in the vault. Of course they kept sharing everything with everyone else as their group of misfits grew, but Zoo’s strongest bond was always with her first companion, he was always the first person she turned to with secrets or concerns, and the first person she ran to when combat got a little too complicated for her.

Winona and Myron: Winona thinks Myron’s the funniest person ever during their travels and she loves his little “I’m 16 years old but I’m an adult” act, she finds it adorable. Nona definitely sees him more like a little brother she’s never had, and their juvenile camaraderie has certainly put them in more sticky situations than necessary. During her quest to save Arroyo they did everything together, from whistling at women in the streets of New Reno to setting up a make shift lab on the road to craft some jet and sell it to caravans and wanderers for a quick profit. They eventually went their separate ways after the Enclave was destroyed and a small part of Winona blames herself for not being there with him when Myron got assassinated in New Reno.

Eva and Fawkes: The only reason why they’re not always together is because super mutants aren’t welcome in settlements, even a intelligent one. Eva looooves Fawkes’ company and can’t imagine her life without him, they talk about anything and everything, from books they’ve read in their vaults to wondering about the past. As time goes on and the Capital Wasteland slowly rebuilds, Eva tries her best to get her friend accepted into the community. They have matching friendship bracelets.

Andy and Raul: Their relationship’s certainly more one sided than anything at the beggining. Andy loves Raul while he, on the other hand, could do without her dumb and dangerous antics. Still, they walk the Mojave together with a lot of respect for one another - Andy certainly thinks anyone who’s lived that long deserves a good life, and she tries to be the nicest she can be with him. They go their separate ways after the battle of Hoover Dam, Raul becoming a lone ranger after returning to his gunslinging past and Andy staying behind in New Vegas as Mr. House’s loyal second in command, and, although  they were somewhat distant emotionally during their travels, they keep meeting every year to catch up and become a constant in each other’s lives, like they’ve been old friends forever.

Elizabeth and X6: These two clicked together almost immediately. When they both met, Elizabeth was very determined to make this relationship work on behalf of the Institute and Shaun, as was X6 for the very same motives. However, they soon realized they were both very similar, in personality and motives. Elizabeth finds X6 a nice change of pace - she doesn’t have to sweet talk or watch her words around him, she can be as blunt as she wants and he understands, a quality so scarce in the Commonwealth. When Betsy assumes leadership of the Institute, X6 becomes her personal bodyguard, spymaster and confidante, always with her and, most importantly, always on her side.
