#minor eow spoilers#guess what I got today#to be fair my usual reaction of OH SHIT OH FUCK *runs away immediately* was still in effect#and then I remembered that if I kill it once I can summon it as an echo and was like ah shit I DO want a lynel#the funny thing was afterwards I went and dealt with the rift over the sanctuary/graveyard#and when I was chatting w/ the priest and he was like ''yeah there's a scary monster up north don't follow the hoofprints''#I was like buddy...hate to tell you this...my first reaction when I saw weird hoffprints was to follow them#(I thought I might find a weird horse in my defense)#anyhow I wasn't expecting to enjoy summoning monsters to solve problems as much as I have been enjoying it#surprisingly fun game mechanic that fits LoZ weirdly well for players accustomed to watching enemy attack patterns#it's fun to turn those attack patterns on other enemies instead of trying to dodge around them for a change#oracle of lore
