made the mistake of watching half of the heinrix romance on youtube now i wanna start over as a female rogue trader 😔 since i already ported mortred over from TES it's only fair that i continue the tradition and bring over oren too... adapting house d//a/go/th into yet another universe

(coincidentally she's an inquisitor in her own canon as well lmao)

i gotta do more lore research however i'm thinking the d/ag/oths might've been a rogue trader dynasty too, but they fell into disgrace. oren is related to the von valancius through her grandpa, due to a political alliance between the two dynasties before everything went to shit

during the disgraced days of her youth she ended up on an industrial world on the administrative side of things, got involved with a tech priest (since k/grenac would absolutely be part of the priesthood of mars) and had ravyn & ranac just like her TES canon

when the divorce happens ravyn chooses dad and is sent to a forge world to eventually become a tech priest like her old man. ranac stays with oren

now the fun part that i have yet to decide...

A) the da//go/th dynasty & protectorate actually collapses and ceases to exist because the head of the dynasty, by then oren's beloved darling nephew vo/ry/n, falls to heresy and is consumed by it (wiping out the protectorate not unlike what happened in act 1). everyone dies except oren who is once again the last one standing AKA the tragic version

or

B) the da//got/h dynasty still exists and hangs on by a thread when theodora summons oren and her brother vaeron to compete as heirs. oren might murder him for the spot, or she might cheat him out of it by somehow intercepting theodora's message to vaeron (not a farfetched possibility since he'd be a pirate). if she doesn't murder him at some point he'll find out that she's the von valancius RT and shit will get real really fast AKA still tragic but a little less version
