Lynn shook his head quickly as if doing so would tale away the screech of the voice. "Iam whatever you make me" He rolled his eyes raising his hands and took another step forward.
"Would you care to share why you are following me?" he asked, he tried to sound as nice as possible to calm down the 'wandering soul'
Mirrored inky voids gazed upon Lynn from a distance just past the shrouded treeline with the hesitation of a hurt animal. They were narrow, judging, and full of mistrust, one all too familiar to the changeling. And yet, despite the clear hostility, there was another emotion that swirled in those dark, empty voids: Hope.
Anka couldn't believe her eyes, gazing upon another changeling, let alone one that looked so much like herself; pale as paper, eyes like endless pools of black, blackened markings that crawled up the length of their arm(s). She couldn't help but wonder if she had stumbled upon someone like herself, someone who had gone through the same pains as she had. Someone who she could find comfort in as she tried to navigate the world that she had become alien to. Though this hope she held directly clashed with the fear that gripped her as well.
What if they were working for Him. She refused to go back, to be dragged back to that Hell she had fled from.
And so, it was these conflicting feelings that caused her to trail Lynn from a distance, watching him; following him from just beyond the shadows that she had grown so accustomed to.
Lynn felt the something following him, he'd occasionally look around trying to see if someone was tailing him but, as he clutched tightly to his necklaces he didn't find anything.
That morning Lynn seemed different.. more cautious than usual.. afraid.
"If anyone's following me, come out clean and I won't hurt" He raised his voice just enough that if someone was looking at him from a distance, they would be able to hear him.
