Zoology Prompt: You pick 5 too!
(( So late because I am literally terrible. However @booksinbloom for mentions :) ))
Crawdad - Time for a scavenger hunt. Find three items that represent your character. (bonus if pictures are included)
Acaellus is never without his trusted moonstone pendant - which is carved from the thick stone, and set in the shape of a crescent moon. Flanking each side are worn out hippogryph feathers, and a few other little trinkets, and baubles.
While terrifying, in his own way, Acaellus is actually surprisingly gentle, and has great dexterity with his massive hands and claws. One of his favorite past times is weaving vines, and various flowers into the little crowns, which he often gifts to Victoria while she reads to him in the garden about their shared home. They are one of the few things he is very proud of, and one can often catch him honing this particular skill if they catch him when he isn’t paying attention. Some people have noted that he tries to place them about the necks of stray cats in Stormwind: he’s had very little success.
Acaellus loves flowers. They are one of his favorite things, and he takes great joy, and great care in tending to them, and seeing them bloom. In fact, he adores it so much, that he has taken up as the unofficial ‘grounds keeper’ of the Stormwind Graveyard. While he does his best to never be seen, or bother anyone, Acaellus does like to grow various flowers about the head stones, and takes care of the rose bushes and ivy vines that line the trellis’ about the various stones.
Moth - How intuitive is your character? Are they highly aware of their surroundings? Or do they tend to have tunnel vision?
Acaellus himself grunts a little, and his ears pin back against his head as the question is posed to him. He then looks to Victoria, who translates the question into better language he can understand, before returning his gaze to the questioner. “Mmm. Hard to say.” He offers at first, only to rock his head from side to side, as if thinking. “Mmm. Would say yes. Hear great many things.” He points to his ears, which swivel as if for comedy’s sake. “Cannot not hear things.” He says solemnly, like he were a sage offering great wisdom. “Many cruel things, in forest. Must listen. So they do not get me.”
Kunchong - To what lengths will your character go through to get what they want? Will they risk a destructive path or do they prefer to wait and plan accordingly?
The ears of the large wolf pin back, and his lips pull up in a quiet snarl, as a small rumble of a growl vibrates his chest. “If action, must be taken,” He begins, slowly trying to unclench his suddenly hard muscles and breath. “Must take. Time goes, cannot wait. Marches forward.” He breathes a little, trying to deflate himself to a more...comfortable size for his companion. “Cannot wait. Not again.”
Ravager - Has your character gone through any significant physical changes recently? And tattoos, scars, or body modifications?
The wolf man looks down at his form, and frowns, but decides to show his questioner so he can answer the question. About his wrists are angry looking scabs, clearly made from manacles that were tied too tight, and he struggled against, causing the skin to be rubbed raw, and welts to appear where it had gotten infected. Once those were inspected, he sat back, to offer his ankles for a similar scene, yet even then he was not done. His massive head lifted, nose pointed straight up, so his questioner can look at the slowly regrowing fur about his neck: and the angry, and ugly burn marks beneath. Around the circumference of his neck, where a collar presumably once sat, the skin was charred and burned, seemingly from the metal being heated to torture the beast. However, what was truly telling, was the fern like burns that radiated from his neck, down his chest, and arms. To the trained eye, it was a burn pattern caused by high voltage electricity, and whatever had conducted it, must have shot through the collar, searing the skin, only to arch down across his chest, and the frosted patterns attested to the power of the shock. Whatever had shocked him, must have been deliberate, as only a truly horrifying amount of voltage could have been used to cause such injuries. “Mean man,” He says simply. “Mmm...mean man...”
Nian - Is your character superstitious?
Acaellus looks over at Victoria to explain what that word means. Once he had a general grasp of it, he looks to his questioner still with a rather confused look on his face. “Mmm. Like when black cat, goes?” He gestures before him, like it were somewhere near his feet. “Bad luck?” He waits for the confirmation, and once given, he nods his head many times. “Yes. Yes. Do not mess with such things.” He then does a strange little ritual, where he brushes off his shoulders and arms, and then knocks on the nearest tree he can find three times. “Mmmm. No no. Do not mess.”
