okay i picked out a book from the library bc the start of the book had bismillah written in arabic and i was like ooo inch resting for a fiction book. and its written in first person abt an iraqi doctor nd it wasnt abt terrorism. it seemed interesting from the first 2 pages bc it wasnt political but allegedly abt family relationships but then...the main character is so...weirdly islamic like he keeps saying mashallah and bismillah EVERY sentence and talks about this little girl so weird nd im sure hes abt to fall in love with her 🤢 and i flip the book to see this was not written by an iraqi person or a muslim person...but by a white soldier tht was deployed in iraq :)
