Ive suffered through a lot of bad game design in my life but why isn't there a save point after the crystal tower in ff3. "Oh whoopsie you made a blunder, go back and redo the dungeon you already finished so you can get back to the completely unrelated thing you were doing". Huh? Huh?

#not theory #not lore #the fact that this is still nowhere close to the least functional game ive played -_-#like its annoying and all (especially when my broken cart crashes)#but nothing compared to that one game where the final boss launched me through the ceiling #and i got softlocked by being stuck out of bounds
