What’s your all-time favourite ship?

Right now, FitzSimmons. They're the ship I'm most ride-or-die for. I do love Mulder and Scully from my XFiles days, Harmony, and Katniss/Peeta from The Hunger Games.

How many works do you have on AO3?

130! But I think the fact that I write so many series and shorter fic has helped bump those numbers up.

I try to! Sometimes I just don't have the brainpower and they sit, and then I feel bad and that delays it even further.

What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

Seriously angsty? Stasis. It's a follow-up to a fic where Jemma dies and Fitz struggles to go on without her. Generally angsty is probably Alone With You which features Academy FitzSimmons, which might be my favorite type of FitzSimmons to write.

What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

This may be cheating, but probably my Hour by Hour series is the fluffiest, happiest ending. That or Two Blue Lines, depending on if you like quasi-kid fic.

Do you write crossovers?

Nah. Not my thing. I like focusing on one universe of characters at a time.

Have you ever received hate on a fic?

Eh, a few negative comments, but never anything that has really gotten me upset or bothered. I've been incredibly lucky that way. Folks were way worse on ff.net, so I pulled nearly all of my fic from them ages ago and saved it on Drive.

Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Yes, yes I do. Mostly M/F, but I've dabbled in threesomes and foursomes. I've written a range of stuff from soft and vanilla to some hard kink. Fic is a place to experiment and play with stuff like that, and I do enjoy letting that side come out to play.

Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of, thankfully.

Have you ever had a fic translated?

I don't think so? It'd be cool if it happened. I'm all for fic making its way as far as it possibly can.

Have you ever co-written a fic before?

I have! @eclecticmuses and @engineerleopoldfitz are my two biggest partners in crime (and I couldn't ask for better ones!). They're fantastic to chat about ideas with, too.

What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

Oof. Where to start? There's a Fitz/May fic that's been percolating for a while that I'd like to get to one day. (A pre-canon take on something that might have happened with them.) I have another Scis & Spies idea, too, and a few more FS AUs. I just need to find the time (and energy!) to get to them.

What are your writing strengths?

If you need an answer, I'm going to say characterization. I like getting into characters' heads. I like to think I don't leave many plot holes lying about either, but no promises I suppose.

What are your writing weaknesses?

Never getting anything finished. Skipping on exposition at times. Jacking up commas like my life depends on it.

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

I don't like to do it unless I'm comfortable in the language just so I don't mess things up. Google Translate has gotten much stronger in some languages, but it's not perfect. I wouldn't want to be totally off base or disrespectful, so I'd likely avoid it unless I had a beta who was fluent in said language.

What was the first fandom you wrote for?

Harry Potter. I was and still am Harmony trash. (Don't @ me. I've been this way for two decades and I'm not changing my mind now.)

What’s your favourite fic you’ve written?

I'm going to say Count (rated E, so mind the tags!) from my Working Out the Kinks series. I'd previously only written FS from that angle with @engineerleopoldfitz and finally got brave enough to branch out and try it on my own. I think because I was willing to take a risk, that's what makes it near and dear to my heart.
