#the fact it doesn’t release 12am will bug me forever

My canon planned Rook:

So Veilguard has led to the brainrot of the century so I’m gonna share my two main canon rooks :)

Each of my rooks have canons assigned for them (hof, Hawke, and Inky) but these two are my main canons since they link up with my main canon game saves. (Though mark my words I’ll be playing different origins, races, and romances)

Charlotte Tethras (Mercar or Laidir)

(Inquisitor: Sebastian (Dorian romance), Hawke: Kali (no romance/Varric), Warden: Malachi (no romance/ Gorim))

My secondary girl is going to be Charlotte or as she primarily goes by, Charlie. Yes she is a Tethras and yes she is Varric’s. Specifically, she’s him and Kalian’s kid.

She was “born” (weird magic) during a trip during the group’s Kirkwall days in the fade and was one of many reasons Kali and Varric got together. She’s got a bit of both of them in her, being a bit tall for a dwarf and having the slight point to her ears. Due to both her ancestry and her being born from the fade, she’s a mage (mechanically she’ll be a veil ranger). If I can give her a crossbow she’s getting one, if not she’ll be a bow main.

She lived and breathed Kirkwall, still thinking of it as home alongside Aveline and Fenris who helped raise her, but goes off to explore more of the world either through connections in the Shadow Dragons or through Lords of Fortune with Isabela. Like her dad, she’s a writer by trade. She grew up on stories of her dads and the wardens so she makes sure to write down the events of her life. She’s a flirt by habit and blends a mix between purple Hawke Kali and Varric.

She’ll be my most purple rook and will consistently annoy Solas on purpose. In stark contrast to her jokey, non-serious attitude, she’s gonna be romancing Neve. She likes having to be more than just charming to get attention. Though she won’t deny attention in general. Her and Taash have a good relationship and she’s got a permanent spot up on their shoulders to fire crossbow bolts.

If Varric comes in harm’s way she’ll be doing anything in her power to save him and doesn’t care about the consequences. She won’t let Varric’s story end in a tragedy.

Melody Ingellvar

(Inquisitor: Nova (Cullen romance), Hawke: Kali (no romance/Varric), Warden: Zelda (Alistair romance))

Melody is my main canon girl. She’s a Qunari mage from the mourn Watch. Despite being reserved and preferring the company of the dead, she holds her own very well in conversation and is very confident in herself. She will almost certainly startle the other inhabitants of the lighthouse (besides Emmrich who has become used to her) due to her light footed nature, ontop of the fact she is a night owl.

Specifically, she’ll be prone to startling her love interest, Lucanis with her night time snacking. She’ll be endeared by his awkward energy plus be consistently trying to convince him to sleep in an actual bed and not in the pantry. She’ll bully any other pantry inhabitants into behaving as well though she’ll in all likelihood be entertained by them.

She’ll lean blue but isn’t above teasing people as she gets closer with them. When she isn’t being forced into socializing, she’ll be up in the library reading every book they have access to and hanging out with Manfred. She’s additionally a healer by trade, preferring to be there to boost her companions up rather than deal big damage to the enemy.
