The eyes of cats, THIS IS MARLO! He is based off a calico cat mixed with a tabby, he is a newly domesticated one. the tail you see is actually a scarf he hooks it to his pants but wraps it around his neck for comfort when needed, he isn't hostile towards the alien that houses him, He's also half blind

Sams owner is one of the types that just let their cats free roam the street cause they always come back anywho

The owner is ALSO the type to let stray cats come and go as they please

think of theodd1sout cat video, where one of his cats were basically leading a double life w/ two families

Ussuri used to run a library for a large town, and started to collect past human knowledge after the aliens came.

She uses the artifacts and old relics as trading things

She usually trades with those who were around before the invasion, since they have more connection with it and are more likely to trade with her

She also used to own a cat!! She knows how they work, so using her charms she visits aliens homes and is pampered for a short while before escaping, (she's agile!!)

ussuri cats aren't too fon of most people/cat's but they usually find one person/cat to show affection too, and Sam was the target of that!

They go out and explore old abandoned buildings to collect loot, and trade along the way, while Ussuri basically infodumps to sam while sam happily listens

If the person they're trading with doesn't see any value in relics, (they don't want uno since they alr saved one) Sam just trades some stuff her owner gave her, (sometimes WEED!!! because.catnip)

Ussuri is a nickname, she doesn't want to use her old name a lot since it hurts to remember how life used to be before this.

Yes, I’m aware this just looks like a more feral Tree in a jacket- (this is essentially just Tree, but in TEOC), but I wanted to give her a name, and an “apocalyptic” personality, to separate her a bit. <:]

“Cat breed”: Blue Somali

When people say “Oh, my cat is a real mouser” that’s the kind of “cat” she is. She has a very high “prey drive” (She came from/grew up in, a big hunting family, before the apocalypse)

She’s very skittish and defensive, personality wise. Untrusting and flighty.

Pros: Highly skilled in survival/street smarts/hunting.

Cons: Trust issues/doesn’t get attached readily. Will possibly screw you over, if it means she gets to remain safe.

I really need to draw my characters for the eyes of cats because like I made some when I was half asleep yesterday but like never drew/posted about them

I’m also thinking of actually making my cats irl into little ocs of it so I can show the absolute stupidity— and even then one of my cats has a somewhat human name so it would fit lol
