WIP Wednesday meets Wrecker Wednesday! My goodness.

Writing little side stories from Far Past the Ring, I realized some things....

Clarissa Mao has an implant that turns her into a killing machine. She can't remove it.

Wrecker HAD an implant that turned him into a killing machine. He's gotten rid of it.

Clarissa made the choice but can't go back on it, Wrecker had none but found a way to fix it.

Clarissa struggles to think of herself as worthy of anything. Wrecker DGAF, he's got his brothers, his squad, and plenty of things to BLOW UP!

Clarissa's a little Rich Girl with Daddy Issues. Wrecker is a clone in a massive, defunct army. Neither have parents or a home planet.

Both have shortened lifespans.

Both know their way around machines.

...cue ALL THE HEARTS AND DISNEY SONGBIRDS!

Some folks asked if I was going to hook Wrecker up with Bobbie Draper, or even Amos Burton. But Bobbie likes ladies and Amos likes Not Giving In To Emotions.

And then there's Clarissa, who I should have included more but didn't know how to.

There will be a short story dropping soon with these two, but in the meantime, enjoy the art I'm working on.

@eyecandyeoz pointed out that many of the Fett Clone Bois would have a tendency to flirt with a lady by chucking under their chin. Here's Wrecker doing it and Clarissa going WHAT.

re: requests/asks i've had an itch for hunter & some slugpuppies... i think they would be torn between protecting these little creatures that haven't seen the horrors of the world yet and needing to preserve their innocence versus knowing that they absolutely have a mission they need to complete and that their time with the pups is going to be short anyways

i made people cry with this one but its really sweet when you think about it i promise <3

Fun fact: I don't really see myself as an artist. I view my work as rather silly and amateur. I'm a disgruntled 30-something who is constantly busy with family and insane neighbors and work.

But it's so flattering and sweet that people like my work. It makes me wanna keep doing it, especially as I initially thought people would detest crossover/OC work and instead, they're liking what I do.

Camina Drummer and Tech as a futuristic allegory for Gilgamesh and Enkidu.

So, I give the people what they want! I am but a humble servant.

Here's a piece I'm working on: President Camina Drummer and Captain Tech Teki Drummer (his name post Far Past the Ring. He's part of Camina's extended family). It's the rough sketch.

Yes, they will be kitted up and painted with Mesopotamian-style art on the pauldrons, chest plates, and thigh plates.

Yes, Tech has a SHOTGUN.

Who they're going to go after (Laconia? The Empire? Humbaba? Tech's Bitch Wife Laura?), I don't know! But it'll happen!

*= I noticed people went FERAL over this, least of all myself. My husband is fur-faced and when he shaved his beard off in 2021 for a few weeks I couldn't even look at him.
