if anyone who follows me lives in/near new york city. i highly recommend stopping by shigeto koyama’s free “obake” art exhibition while it’s around!! he did character designs for promare, heroman, and star wars visions: the twins; mecha design for promare, diebuster, darling in the franxx, alexis kerib from gridman and baymax from big hero 6; the japanese ms. marvel covers; directed the “obake-chan” animator expo short; designed studio trigger’s logo; and was the gradation boy for promare… i went to his talk there today and i feel like it has yet again rearranged my brain and how i view art and the limitations of human creativity LMAO.
