also i know people say this but i swear to god it never gets into anyones heads, but you cant just block out all people with other opinions from you. thats called an echo chamber and even if the ideas are the "right" ones it makes the group extremely easy to poison with harmful ideas. you have to think critically about each issue and not just shut out anything thats different from the "norm." cancel culture is literally dystopian and inhuman. things are nuanced and messy, especially politics and economics

#if you ever find yourself hardcore for one ideology i would. take a step back. because even if you truly believe wholeheartedly in it #you need to make sure you dont get pressured into supporting something you Dont believe wholeheartedly in #avoid groupthink avoid peer pressure avoid mass hysteria #both political sides are guilty of this and its exactly why no country can get anything done #radicalism is nice and all but its unrealistic and creates divides. we will never move forward this way. its baby steps #and it will do you good to listen to the other side. even if youre not convinced !#tobin talks #agh i know this is asking a lot of The Internet but. god its so important. and i do have faith in humanity #like dont budge on your morals but do Hear the other persons pov....... thats how we make progress. by talking to each other #the exchange of ideas!!! discussion!!! diversity!!! thats how you progress!!!#stop trying to make everyone uniformly believe the same thing. that isnt how this works and youre not always right. neither am i #ughh preaching but. i hold this inside 24/7 and ITS MY BLOG so here we go
