anyway enough speculating abt the mysterious new alien. the real win of the newest ep was us getting to see a tiny bit more of the cafe layout (maybe we saw more of this is s1 and I wasn't looking for it?? I need to rewatch and focus on cafe scenes)

but! the stairs to the upper floor are in the kitchen (we dont SEE stairs going down so they could have the basement entrance in the kitchen..or not...? in the original it was kinda unclear where it was, but there was a stairwell...somewhere?) + it seems like the kitchen doesnt have cute little western saloon doors anymore :(

+ a look at the front entrance foyer area with benches for waiting (we saw this area in s1, but not from this angle I dont think! below are the shots from this ep then a shot from s1 from a diff angle)

if there exists animation reference sheets of the cafe layout somewhere...I NEED them 😭 when this season finishes ill go back and scrub every ep for references of the inside of the cafe (aside from the main dining area, bc it seems to just be a big circle with tables...)

I want to know where the changing room is! is the basement more than one room?! where are the bathroom(s)?! does keiichiro have a room here somewhere too??? are there other rooms on the upper floor?
