One of my few superstitions is that I don't want to talk about anything good until it has already happened, in case I jinx it, but today was my first day at work and everything is good, so I think I can say: tumblr, I have a job! A full time job! With benefits! Yay!

Ugghhhhhhh
Normally I work a 40 hour week. This week my coworker is on vacation, so they want me to come in an hour early (and leave at the same time). But I am still working 41 hours, because I took this afternoon off!
... to go to the dentist. So I have worked 32 hours so far this week, and then spent 1.5 hours being stabbed with small metal instruments while the people doing the stabbing told me to relax, and I still have to work a 9 hour day tomorrow. And shovel the driveway first.
