Destiel is literally canon in english. It just happens to be Americans that are in denial
um it’s canon in terms of being written into text, yes. but their romantic love is mutual only if you iNtErPrET it like that. and i’ve seen people who say the whole love confession scene is platonic which honestly wtf, so it’s not “americans that are in denial” but the network that is homophobic
