at the risk of sounding like a 00's hipster im amazed every time i go back and listen even to older death cab albums. maybe especially when i listen to older death cab albums, all the way from we have the facts to codes and keys in particular. the sounds are so... so good. the writing is good. the lyrics, the music, the INSTRUMENTS are good. but like... the sound quality itself is sssoooo goooood. it sounds so good in headphones every time, so full, so warm, so crisp. those motherfuckers are in the ROOM with me... and i said what i said but the narrow stairs album is THE best example of this.
