it’s the spotted gray family of thunderclan! tadaa!
i like designing these guys in family batches instead of being on their own. but i’ll have individual cats who i’ll grab every now and then. but for now--here’s the brindlekids! keep in mind though, most of these are my headcanon versions of these guys. so if they differ from canon, that’s just how my variation of them is.
brindleface is the spunky-big mamma of thunderclan. she’s the sweetest cat you’ll ever meet, who will almost immediately come to your rescue even if she just met you. but man, will she scold you up and down for being such a feather-brained fool! she’s one of the best clan “wrestlers.” due to her being so fluffy and strong, brindleface is very talented at pouncing and fighting, and will even challenge cats at gatherings to see if they can even get her paw down.
oh the bitter boyo, ashfur. he’s probably one of the most canon-diverging characters i have, so sit back and get ready for this guy! ashfur is a goofy guy, who likes playing around and making quips if given any opportunity to do so. he has a tendency to be pretty sharp with his words though, so one playful jab can turn into a quick remark on something you might hold dear. he has a bit of a grudge streak, which is an unfortunate mix when it comes to his relationships. which especially holds true to his boyfriend, brambleclaw. those two could fight all day if you left ‘em at it.
my sweet babi babi girl, i love her so very much. ferncloud is the gentle jam of her family. while her ma and brother are rough and rowdy, ferncloud is much more preferential to sitting aside and cheering them on. she’s not much of a fighter, and she isn’t the best at remembering stuff. but what she does love is taking care of others! be it getting them prey, cleaning up some of their nest or even getting them little presents! she may not like fighting or rough housing, but she will walk about the forest and find the prettiest leaf for her friends!
elderkit and tulipkit weren’t initially in the plan to add to the family, but i figured “why not.” i don’t have a lot of notes on them, but they both are very much their own characters. elderkit and tulipkit weren’t alive long enough to fully develop themselves, personality-wise. but they were still very important to both their siblings. elderkit is the lazier brother, while tulipkit is the sweetest boy, who just adores hearing stories of all sorts. and when taken to starclan, they both wanted to wait until their mother was with them until they could reincarnate.
aight! all done and finished. with that, please enjoy this doodle of brindle and her babis

Wilma x Reader headcanons
Tumblr media
Just some cute fluffy headcanons (written on my phone from the college library). Made specifically for @lillylvjy as a thank you for all the lovely Wilma content :)
Warnings/Tags: Wilma is a trans woman, reader is gender neutral. Brief mention of gender dysphoria
Beginning of the relationship headcanons:
If you’re an artist, you likely met her at an art event or the studio. Of course, you were instantly amazed by her paintings. Wilma, while usually confident about her art, sometimes gets imposter syndrome. Once you complimented her art, she immediately warmed up to you.
If you’re not an artist, you likely met her at the park. She’s there all the time, sketching the surroundings from the comfort of a bench.
If you met her pre-transition, it would take her a while to open up to you, but once you accepted her, she’d be more than grateful to have your support. Obviously, she’s not going to date anybody who wouldn’t accept her for who she is.
Once you’re dating:
Constantly sketching you. I mean constantly. She’ll use you as a model to try out all sorts of different styles and mediums, from charcoal to watercolor to oils to colored pencil…you get the point. You’re her favorite muse.
She’s a very cuddly and affectionate person. She always wants to be near you, whether that’s in the same room or leaning against your shoulder. Definitely the kind of person who will try to convince you to stay in bed with her in the mornings. She just doesn’t want to let you go.
She tries to cook, but she’s more of a baker. Probably a fantastic cake decorator. If you end up getting married, she’s absolutely making the cake herself because she doesn’t trust anyone else to bring her vision to life. Will also make you your favorite cake for every single one of your birthdays.
If you’re an artist, she gives you feedback on your art. You do the same for her. The two of you spend a lot of time just sharing ideas and working in the studio together, chatting or listening to music while you work on your respective projects. If you’re not an artist but willing or wanting to learn, Wilma is even more ecstatic. She just wants to share her love of art, and if you want to learn, she’ll easily tell you everything she knows. She’s also never judgmental when you mess up, always just happy that you’re sharing her passion. If you get frustrated, she’s right there covering you with kisses until you’re laughing and blushing, totally forgetting whatever was upsetting you.
This woman would LOVE to have a pet. She’s more of a cat person, but she definitely wouldn’t be opposed to having a dog. I imagine she’d really like American Shorthair cats, tabbys, and calicos. For dogs, the bigger, lazier and cuddlier, the better. She wants something she can snuggle (and also spoil with an insane amount of toys). She definitely treats her pets like they’re her children.
She always goes to you for comfort when she’s feeling dysphoric. You do your best to help, calling her beautiful, reassuring her that she’s perfect the way she is, and that you’ll support her through whatever social/medical changes she wants to make. She usually just needs someone to reassure her that she’s accepted, and as long as you do that, it’ll bring her a lot of comfort.
As she gets more comfortable in her own skin, she’ll take you shopping with her while she tries on outfit after outfit. Her clothing gets more colorful as she gets more comfortable. She’s definitely more fem-leaning in terms of presentation.
Draws little pictures for you constantly. You can fully expect her to leave sticky notes all over your room with small doodles and drawings. You keep all of them. When Wilma finds out that you’ve been keeping her drawings, she practically melts
She’s there for you when you’re having a hard day. You need advice? She’ll do her best. Comfort? She’s there with cuddles and your favorite meal (even if she has a hard time cooking it). Just want to cry it out? She’ll hold you the entire time, telling you how much she adores you and that you’ll get through whatever is hurting you together.
Wilma is an art museum lover. Take her to an art museum on a date and she’ll be over the moon. Just know that, once you get there, you’ll probably be there for a long, long time.
You’re going to have to say ‘I love you’ first. As much as Wilma wants to say it, she’ll be too worried that you don’t feel the same. Once you confess, though, she’ll say it every day (multiple times).
Her love language is definitely physical touch and words of affirmation. Tell her you love her, give her all the kisses she wants. She’ll return your affection tenfold. She’s definitely a romantic.

Hey, I’ve had some trouble writing and I can’t focus and I have a deadline coming up soon. I have two write two stories and I have the layout for them but I just can’t find the will to write. Any suggestions?
Hey Nonny! *hugs*
Take breaks, and even if you only do a paragraph or two every hour, see those as achievements. Take ten minutes every hour to just play a mind-numbing game like Candy Crush or Solitaire, doodle on your paper… just something that’s NOT your writing.
First draft is not FINAL draft. Just write and write and write… the hardest part is done, all you have to do is get it out. Make mistakes, use “said” every sentence. Make grammatical errors. Just don’t think about it, or you won’t enjoy it. And don’t don’t FORCE yourself. Writing is supposed to be fun and creative, let it flow the way its meant to. And if you only have an idea for an ending, WRITE IT. Many of the best authors will start backwards. Just remember: it’s your FIRST DRAFT, so don’t fret if it doesn’t work with the rest of the story right away.
Don’t beat yourself up over not getting 1,000 words in one day done. Congratulate yourself for getting 500 words done. Positivity goes a long way to making your ideas flow easier.
Set small goals for yourself, like “500 words by Tuesday” or whatever, before the BIG deadline. Having these goals written down in front of you will help alleviate the stress of the looming deadline. Seriously, when stuff is broken down in smaller chunks, like “1000 words per day for 5 days, proofread on day 6 and rewrite on day 7 and 8″ rather than “TWO FULL STORIES IN 10 DAYS”, then it’s a LOT less overwhelming. It’s a funny thing that human brains do: we tend to stress more if we don’t have a smaller plan to reach that BIG goal, and breaking down the big goal into smaller ones makes the big goal look a LOT more attainable. Trust me on this one, Lovely.
Allow yourself to cringe and laugh at your first draft; no author in the history of forever has ever written a great first draft. Reread, rewrite, revise, revamp, rejoice. It’s all part of the process.
A thesaurus is your friend, but use it sparingly. There’s nothing wrong with replacing words occasionally, but do it too much and your writing will seem forced.
And when you have done your second-third-fourth draft, don’t be afraid to ask your teacher if you’re allowed to get your work beta-read, and if they know anyone who will help. Most professors will have no problem with you getting someone else to grammatically-correct your work, so long as it’s ONLY for proofreading and they are aware of it, noted in your references, I believe.
Eat. Seriously, I know some authors get into “The Zone” and will forget to eat and drink. Sustenance is imperative for the creative arts. If you don’t eat, your brain is more focussed on wondering when you’re going to reward it for your hard work, rather than on the work itself. Have “brain” foods like nuts and fruits that will keep you feeling full and still are able to concentrate on your work. And make sure you stop for all your bigger meals, with snacks in between.
Put on background INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC (not anything with words that will distract you like movies and TV shows); I find video game and movie soundtracks help me a lot when I’m writing and replying to asks. Plus, that epic soundtrack makes you feel like a BOSS whenever you PUNCH in that period and SLASH that semicolon! Imagine this playing while you’re finishing up a paragraph… how fucking POWERFUL will you feel when you prevail that paragraph?? Seriously, just Google “epic music” and put on one of the 6 hour ones, and you’re set, my friend. Pandora Journey on YouTube makes GREAT soundtracks for writing, 100% would recommend. I listen to them when I reply to asks and write meta :)
HAVE FUN.
I don’t do much writing anymore, Lovely, but when I did, these tips always helped me. I also used to always do my first draft on paper… it was a weird quirk of mine, one that guaranteed I wouldn’t lose a copy of anything, but as I got older and lazier, I just started writing draft one on my computer, so either-or is fine, just make sure you have a couple copies of your first draft (like one on a USB stick as well), because ANYTHING can happen. Like your computer suddenly deciding to not turn on and losing 6 months’ worth of artwork or anything because your harddrive just decided to call it quits after 8 years and the techs couldn’t retrieve any of the files *glares at Mach 2.0*. Not that it’s ever happened to me or anything. :| And if your computer has a backup drive (like Time Machine on Macs) TURN IT ON FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS FLUFFY.
*coughs*
ANYWAY, hope those tips help you out, Nonny, and I hope your muse finds you! If any of you lovely amazing OMG authors have some tips of your own, please feel free to share them!
Good luck!!
