The thing about my best friend’s family is that they’re perfectly nice people for the most part but talking to them makes me feel like I’m negotiating for my life in a hostage situation
#i’m ngl a lot of social interactions feel like this when you have like 3 different types of anxiety plus panic disorder#but her brother and her niece in particular are something else#her sister doesn’t stress me out as much because i already know she doesn’t like me so i don’t feel any pressure to impress her#i also know she dislikes me for valid reasons (aged 21 i disrupted their boxing day party by getting alcohol poisoning)#so really i just try not to annoy her any more than i naturally will by existing#her mum is okay. her child is basically my favourite person in the world but my god is she a lot#the last time i was there she drew on my face#who else is there.. the other niece is okay. the nephew sucks but he mostly ignores me#the significant others of all of these people generally look shell shocked so i try not to stress them out further#the dogs are all fantastic. chef’s fucking kiss no notes. i would adopt ruby today if asked#personal
