a personal theory of mine about Baby Memories is that being somewhat sick or injured when small, but being cared for and ending up healthy can actually be better for your adult confidence than having never been sick at all.

My evidence for this is exclusively one half remembered documentary about identical quadruplets and also hearing the story of my fathers birth

#it makes sense doesnt it though?#getting confirmed that People Will Care For You and Pain Gets Better extremely early #so future pain is kinda. whatever. itll work out #i was similarly injured and sick a bunch as a toddler. so pain is not that noticable to me but im anxious all the time anyway #the documentary was rly interesting though! they did a bunch of psychological tests on these 6 year olds #and concluded that the one that had been the weakest when born was the one that seemed to be developing the most confidence #and also inexplicably seemed to be learning how to read better
