I’m jumping around working on two chapters at once and in the chapter 32 chunk I’m working on there’s absolutely no reason for Trent to be in this scene with Beard and Jamie, he’s just nosey and followed them when Beard pulled Jamie aside

Like Trent was fully prepared to make an excuse about the conversation potentially being relevant for his book, but he didn’t have to because neither of them questioned his presence and Jamie just jumped right into rambling and over sharing at Beard like Trent’s not there with his little notebook with no intention of putting this in his book but every intention of soaking up every little piece of information he can to satisfy his own curiosity
