imma be honest with you I believe sharks should be able to tame and dive with in Endless Ocean but even have unique trust systems for their different shark species and be named and unique friendly shark interactions and even while underwater

and also Thanatos is big aggressive silly who just needs pets and love similar with the other legendary sharks and importantly I don’t care if Thanatos was named after a death god I still swim with it lmao 🤿🫧🦈❤️‍🩹

i was never super into befriending dolphins in this series (not ragging on it, a lot of people really seem to like it! it just wasn't for me i guess), but other befriendable species with their own abilities would be neat! imagine digging up treasure with your shark friend's ampullae of lorenzini...
