in other news, both my essay writing and chapter 4 of a poison tree have both taken a back scene to me trying to write a sex scene that will not appear for *checks notes* at least three more chapters.

#my writing process had zero rhyme and reason to it #I was just thinking about garters and how no uses them enough when writing period smut scenes #the inherent sexiness of slowly sliding a stocking off #the craziest thing an English king ever did was establish the order of the garter actually look up the founding myth its a pretty wild #now will I write an *actual* sex scene or will I fade to black and spare myself the indignity #choices that will not have to be made fora while yet
