i read a play for my drama class and i payed money for it. and i dont wanna say this but it wouldve been good if the playwright went off of social media while writing it and also maybe talked to some 12 year olds. the big dramatic speeches read to me like bad activist poetry on tumblr circa 2018.

#the play is about 12 year olds btw. interesting premise that gets really close to being excellent but um. misses the mark #like theyre vulnerable young people who are not lsitened to classsic springwakening sitch ok im on board #and they become doomsday preppers as a way to externalize their anxieties. also cool. but the dialog is stilted. 12 year olds dont talk lik #that man. and also the ending is very abrupt... couldve worked but one of the characters stories just isnt resolved and she isnt in #the concluding flashback of ht last scene. not cool. anyway.
