- it was only oscars second sprint pole (he doesn’t have any regular ones too), first of the season

- this was the only non-max sprint winner of this season

- one measly point?!?! like if it was a bigger delta between scores, like actual GP P1 and P2, totally understandable. if it was for one point, but between lower positions, ok as well. but taking a win from oscar for just one less point in the gap?

thinking about how mana was always laughing in other people's memories but crying in his own. how after nea died he laughed for everyone to see but never allowed himself tears, for all that he wanted to. the only people to see through that facade were people whose actions have (or will) directly or indirectly hurt him, however unwillingly, whose grief intertwined deeply with his, whether they realised or not—and he didn't even realise he was putting up a façade.

how the earl laughs and cries in equal measure, in equal silliness, but his tears were never more than a joke. even in the aftermath of him thinking he's erased the ark, the first glimpse of tears behind the mask, he quickly covers up with a smile. even when he wavers learning that nea wants to kill him and take over. we never see tears depicted seriously onscreen until his reunion with a fully awakened nea. we see the aftermath of a sincere crying fest, having already exhausted himself, but not the tears themselves.

we don't see the tears until nea finally keeps his word—"keep walking until i come back for you," and he did, kept walking trying to outrun the earl, outrun his grief. something about how, in the end, not even the earl allowed him the grief—the earl laughing, mana crying, whether in front of a mirror, or in front of nea, or in front of lulu.

it's sooo interesting that people still keep bitching at kusakabe despite both tcb and official translations being long released and offering full context for what he said and why AND that whenever they bitch, they somehow forget to mention the part where kusakabe (as as far as i recall the only character so far) explicitly calls yuji kenjaku's victim and tells kids to stop blaming themselves because the current situation is result of decisions made by adults

stop reading leaks only and give manga a chance, i promise it's much more interesting! you would have to admit that gojo is not flawless blue eyed uwu princess but it only makes him a more interesting character!

i don't remember in which fic i read it but I absolutely love the trope of steddie dating pre season 3 and steve trying so hard to get eddie and robin to be friends mostly so they can have fun being the (to his knowledge) only 3 gays in hawkins together but robin is like ew no i'm not letting you tell your weirdo friend that i'm a lesbian he deals drugs he could be dangerous I don't want to get hatecrimed are you nuts? and eddie is like steve for fuck's sake we are not telling your random coworker who until last week barely tolerated your presence about us what if she goes around telling everybody we're gay and we end up being chased out of town by a mob of angry homophobes?? and steve is in the middle like. please. i can't do the hannah montana shit anymore with my bestie and my boyfriend. but he can't out robin or eddie without their permission so he's destined to suffer
