Ok so I missed a lot on last year perigee:

Don't worry about missing things - this was, up until the dual prompt was chosen - supposed to be unofficial. I typically never make things that happened in RP both myself or in others threads canon to the 12th perigee ball, because that would be unfair to people who don't follow my roleplaying blog to stick to a canon that they might not have seen or even want to follow.

The TLDR of it is that a drunk seadweller weaponsmaker, after the ball was concluded, decided to go out with a bang by firing her rocket launcher at the landscape around the ball. Hence, the wrecked cliff.

Again, I normally never make rp shenanigans canon to the ball, however, in the case of this prompt, having an extremely convenient scenario where Kilran would desperately snatch fuschia clown money and sell out just to fix it before the ball begins fit extremely well. Plus, with the dual theme at play, it's easy for us to say that he conceded only half of his design autonomy up for it rather than all, because a 100% clown theme would have to be pried out of his hands than freely given. 50% though? Yeah, okay, if the clownfish can get it fixed before the ball starts then sure, 50% it is.
