Gladstone Gander and Emilie Duckman (Gift for my friend) - Duckverse

I drew one more time for my friend Gladstone with her OC, which is not my first drawing by the way. I also drew that two years ago. Yes, Gladstone Gander, Donald’s perpetually lucky cousin, has plenty of girlfriends. However, in this case he found one that suits him. Her name is Emilie Emily Duckman or Emily Gladstone and yes, that’s not my OC. Actually, this is my gift to the friend who created this couple, and that Emily is her OC. So here’s a present for you, dear @backgroundshipper , Gladstone and Emily. If you want to know more about it, check out her blog (@the-chronicles-of-emilie-duckman) and you will know more about it.

Benny Flamingo was watching Claire Gander as a doll from high up fell into her hands.He hated her. She was lucky.Why was she lucky?He should be the one who was lucky!Not Claire!He was a flamingo! He was handsome!He was elegant!He was graceful!Why wasn’t he the lucky one!?

Benny took a wooden block nearby, and threw it at Claire.It was a direct hit, hit her head, and made her cry.Benny smiled.That made him feel better.But the fact that everyone was crowding around her didn’t.

Mr.Thompson looked at Benny.Benny had a history of making fun of Claire,but this was the first time that it escalated into violence.He would need to talk to their parents.

Emilie glared at Benny’s parents as they waited for Mr.Thompson to call them into his classroom.

“So….how’s your daughter?”asked Mrs.Flamingo in an attempt to make conversation.

“She’ll be better when your brat of a son backs off.”Emilie snapped at Mrs.Flamingo.

“Emilie.”said Gladstone.

He was just as upset about Claire being bullied, but he didn’t want things to get out of control.Gladstone wondered if he actually felt worse than Emilie. He had a feeling on why Claire was being bullied.It was the luck that she inherited from him.

‘Of all the things Claire had to inherit from me,why did she have to inherit my luck?’ thought Gladstone,sadly.

“Ganders,Flamingos.”said Mr.Thompson when he opened the door.

The two set of parents entered the classroom, and sat in front of Mr.Thompson’s desk.

“So,I’m sure you all know why I called you in here.”began Mr.Thompson.

“Yeah.Because those two can’t discipline their kid.”said Emilie,pointing her thumb toward the Flamingos.

Mr.Flamingo stood up to say something to Emilie,only for his wife to sit him back down.Like Gladstone, she didn’t want things to get out of control.

“I don’t think that’s the problem.”said Mr.Thompson with a chuckle.

Gladstone,and Emilie looked at each other.Why was Mr.Thompson chuckling?

“It’s obvious.Benny has a crush on Claire, and that’s his way of showing it.We have to find a way for him to show it in a nicer way.”continued Me.Thompson.

That was the wrong thing to say as both Emilie, and Gladstone stood.Both of them had a look of unbridled fury.But Emilie, and Gladstone reacted in different ways.

“Well,I would say it was nice knowing you,Mr.Thompson, but I never liked you.Good bye!”said Gladstone as he shook Mr.Thomason’s hand, and then left the room.

Which was a good thing.

Gladstone didn’t know what Emilie did when he left the classroom, but he heard screaming, glass shattering, and more screaming.Gladstone wondered if he should look inside the classroom,but decided against it.Instead he decided to look at his watch.

He won it in a contest.Although Gladstone wished it was one of those glow in the dark watches.Sure, it was fancy, and Gladstone wouldn’t let Claire near it due to her age, but it would have been cooler if it glowed in the dark.

Gladstone stopped looking at his watch to hear what was going on.Emilie was still shouting.Gladstone was wondering if he should look into the classroom to see at who.But decided against it.He didn’t want to see what damage Emilie did.

Emilie suddenly came out of the classroom, looking a lot calmer than the last time Gladstone saw her.

“I feel better.”said Emilie as she straightened her clothes.

Gladstone looked inside the classroom. The Flamingos were huddling in the corner,shaking. The window had a hole in it, and Mr.Thompson was nowhere to be seen making Gladstone think that Emilie threw him out the window.

‘Huh.Not as bad as I thought.’ thought Gladstone as he left with Emilie.

Gladstone decided that it was a good idea for him, and Emilie to stop by a diner before heading home. He wanted to make sure that Emilie got all the rage out of her system.

It seemed like Emilie had as she was simply drinking a cup of green tea,looking like she was in deep thought.

“Clover for your thoughts?”Gladstone asked Emilie.

“I was thinking about what I did.”said Emilie.

“And?”

“I hope Claire doesn’t get in trouble for my actions.”

“I’m sure she won’t.You probably killed Mr.Thompson when you threw him out the window, and I don’t think the Flamingos are going to talk to the police.”

“Gladstone!”

“Sorry. I was trying to reassure you that Claire wouldn’t get in trouble.”

“Yeah.But now you’re making me think that I might end up in jail!”

“You wouldn’t end up in jail.You have me, and my luck.”

“That’s a very valid argument.”said Emilie.

As it turned out,Emilie didn't kill Mr.Thompson.Just severely injured him.But he seemed to learn his lesson.Benny wasn’t bullying Claire because he had a crush on her.Benny was bullying Claire because he was a bullying brat.

But Benny wasn’t bullying Claire anymore.His parents told him to stop or something bad might happen to them.He didn’t know what that meant, but he had never seen his parents look so afraid that he decided to listen to his parents.

But he still hated Claire, and her luck.
