Gladstone Gander and Emilie Duckman (Gift for my friend) - Duckverse

I drew one more time for my friend Gladstone with her OC, which is not my first drawing by the way. I also drew that two years ago. Yes, Gladstone Gander, Donald’s perpetually lucky cousin, has plenty of girlfriends. However, in this case he found one that suits him. Her name is Emilie Emily Duckman or Emily Gladstone and yes, that’s not my OC. Actually, this is my gift to the friend who created this couple, and that Emily is her OC. So here’s a present for you, dear @backgroundshipper , Gladstone and Emily. If you want to know more about it, check out her blog (@the-chronicles-of-emilie-duckman) and you will know more about it.

Annebelle couldn’t believe it.How dare her sister pour a cup of soda on her! She had to get revenge on her!

But how?

After taking a shower to get the soda stickiness off her, she began to think.How could she get back at Emilie for what she did?

The answer should have been easy enough.Go with her strengths,flirting, and being sexy.But that didn’t work with Gladstone.He was too loyal to Emilie.

“Mmmm….”said Annebelle, a thought coming to her.

What if she made it look like Gladstone wasn’t as loyal as he seemed?But the question was how?Photoshop perhaps?Forceful kiss?

No.She needed to get him alone.When he wasn’t anywhere near Emilie.That was the problem.Emilie was nearby at the time.But,Annebelle needed Emilie nearby for her plan to work.Annebelle smiled.She knew exactly where Emilie would be.

Since Emilie was at work,Gladstone was doing what he usually did.Winning contests, and finding $20 bills on the ground.But today was different.Today Donald was with him.

“So she dumped her soda on her sister for flirting with you?”asked Donald in shock when Gladstone was done telling him about his date with Emilie.

“Yup.”said Gladstone,picking up a $20 bill on the ground.

Donald didn’t know what to say.He didn’t know what to say.He didn’t know what he was more surprised by.That Emilie dumped soda on her sister for simply flirting with Gladstone,or that Emilie didn’t set Gladstone up for a prank.But Donald supposed it didn’t matter in the end,Gladstone had a good time, and seemed to have a great time.

Meanwhile,Annebelle was peeking around the corner.

She thought that Gladstone would be alone,but he wasn’t.He was with a friend that looked familiar to Annebelle.She could have sworn that she saw him before, but she didn’t know where.

Suddenly it dawned on Annebelle who was with Gladstone.Scrooge McDuck’s favorite nephew,whatever-his-name-was.Annebelle knew that he had a girlfriend too, so why just steal Gladstone when she can steal what’s-his-name when she can cash in on the inheritance he’ll inherited, and Gladstone’s luck.

‘I’m a genius.’ thought Annebelle as she left her hiding place.

“Hi,Gladdy!Who’s your friend?”said Annebelle,putting on the charm.

“I’m Donald,Gladstone’s cousin.You must be Emilie.”said Donald.

“No. I’m Annebelle.Her sister.Her much prettier sister.”said Annebelle,trying not to flinch at Donald mistaking her for Emilie.

“What are you doing,Annebelle?”asked Gladstone.He had heard enough about Annebelle to know not to trust.

“I’ve got nothing to do, and was wondering if I can spend time with you.”said Annebelle in an innocent voice.

“Sure!”said Donald.

“No.”said Gladstone the same time Donald spoke.

“Aw,give her a chance,Gladstone!Just because her sister doesn’t like her doesn’t mean you have to!”argued Donald.

Annebelle smiled.This worked out better than she thought.

Annebelle didn’t think her plan through.Gladstone completely ignored her, and Donald wasn’t as rich as she thought he was.In fact,he was nearly penniless.Even with being Scrooge McDuck’s favorite nephew,Annebelle had a hard time believing that he had a girlfriend.

But it was almost lunchtime, and they were close to Duckburg Pizzeria,one of Emilie’s favorite restaurants.If fact,she went there everyday for lunch.It was amazing to Annebelle that she didn’t weigh 200 pounds.

But,today,it was convenient for her.Here she was, with two men,one of them Emilie’s boyfriend, and the other his cousin, who also has a girlfriend, and them buying her lunch.

‘Like a date.’ thought Annebelle smugly,thinking about how Emilie would react when she saw her with Gladstone.

“Hey!Why don’t we go to Duckburg Pizzeria!?”suggested Annebelle in a chipper voice.

“Sure.”said Donald,happy that for once,Annebelle was asking for something inexpensive.

Annebelle smiled.Everything was going according to plan.

When they entered Duckburg Pizzeria they were immediately declared the 1,000 customers, and were given a free pizza lunch.

“Wow!Nothing like this ever happens to me!”said Donald.

“Just get me-whatever.”said Annebelle,going to get a seat.

She needed to think.

How was her plan supposed to work if Donald wasn’t as rich as she thought, and Gladstone didn’t fall for her tricks?

But it seemed like fate was on her side once more.

“Gladstone! I didn’t expect to see you here!”said Emilie when she walked into Duckburg Pizzeria.

“Oh,he’s here with me!We’re on a date!”said Annebelle,grabbing Gladstone’s arm,only for him to yank it away from her.

“What?We’re not on a date!”said Donald,arriving with the pizza.

“Yes we are!All three of us were!”said Annebelle,putting her arms around both Donald, and Gladstone.Both men removed themselves from her.

“How stupid do you think I am,Annebelle?”asked Emilie, her arms crossed, and a raised eyebrow.

Annebelle couldn’t believe it.Her plan,her wonderful plan,failed.She didn’t break up her sister, and Gladstone. She didn’t win Gladstone, and Donald.She didn’t even win one of them.

But then Annebelle noticed a nearby chair.If she couldn’t break up her sister, and Gladstone,then she was going to break Emilie’s body.Annebelle took the chair,not even caring that someone was sitting in it, threw it at Emilie.

“Ah-ow!”screamed Emilie when the chair hit her.

“Emilie!”yelled Gladstone,rushing towards her.

Gladstone wasn’t the only one showing concern for Emilie.Donald was calling 911,and many of the restaurant’s patrons were asking if she was okay.If nobody cared about Annebelle,then she was leaving.

But then she felt a hand on her shoulder. It was the manager of the restaurant with a broom in his hand.

“Get to work,blondie.You’ll be working here until the damages are paid off.”said the manager.

“But-sir, I can explain. I was in the middle of female hysterics.”said Annebelle,batting her eyelashes in a desperate attempt to get out of working off the damages.

“Nice try.It’s either here, or prison.Choose your pick.”

“But I’m not responsible!My sister should have ducked!”

“You threw the chair.Now pick,or I’ll pick for you.”

“Fine.I’ll work off the damages.I’m too pretty for prison.”said Annebelle,taking the broom from the manager.
