#the characterization for Royalactin was so fucking good actually#definitely one of my top fave slkt fic dynamics#i just keep revisiting it for their conversations.. ive never seen a slkt vibe depicted with so much underhanded friction#theyre already in Something together. but there's so many cues for vulnerability completely pushed aside#its cool. its comfortable. its whatever. its normal. there's an agreement there that works well enough its lasted them this long. and yet#they try to gift the other more than what they've explicitly asked for (but they just cant stand it)#they want to express their appreciation for receiving what they secretly long for (but they just cant stand it)#its always one extreme after another.. either all cards out on the table or nothing not a word#the kink itself is a tangible entity they shamelessly attach to in order to distract from the awkward tension that would otherwise persist#a shared task that provides them with active needs and problems to be solved keeping them from confronting open honest expression#such a good interpretation of established relationship that still burns me emotionally#shld really type up a comment sometime... but will the ever elusive anonymous user orphan_account see it....#mumblings
