is this a safe place? I know it’s an unpopular opinion but I think Chloe et al is about joe. Maybe it’s mixed muses but especially after Smwel why would you wonder?

I think so too. Even thought the albums appears to be more centered around that wild rebound, i think he’s sprinkled in on that album more than people realize. We just know next to nothing about him, so it’s easy to assume and assign based on some lines.

She also plays along with fantasy and switches past, present, and future so I think that stumps some.

Lyrics alone, there’s a lot of the song that just screams long term relationship, that she left. It’s like “ we’re both rebounding, you seem unaffected, do you ever think about what would’ve been “
