Okay but what if the tree in the Vale was just SO BIG that it almost completely covers the cirque’s opening?
There’s not a whole lot of trees out in the waste, and the foliage could be super prickly or especially dense, discouraging anyone trying to get in or out
#this would also make more sense as to why the vale is so valued#and also so warm when the land surrounding it is half-frozen and barren:#the canopy has practically turned the vale into a terrarium#so it stays humid and has its own weather and stuff#ailurocide#spotty speaks
