Recent antique haul. Finally bought a WW1 Princess Mary Christmas tin in really lovely condition. Also found an army issue bugle stamped 1916–just needs cleaned and polished—as well as a Sam Browne officer belt (not shown) and a few photographs.

#I held off on buying a tin for soooo long cos there are fakes always circulating #and I was finally like brother you have been at this for like 9 years I think you’ll know #based off that one old chart it looks like a plated type 7 #I don’t know if we’ve found a better method of ID since like 2002 lol #but so glad to have one #the bugle being by Boosey and Co has led to some fun phrases such as ‘blowing my boosey’ and ‘need to clean my boosey’#and the photos were just For Fun #the Sam Browne needs the leather conditioned but it’s in not bad shape #and all this for less than £200 which is insane #guy in the shop was super nice #wwi #history #world war 1 #antiques
