i should probably post like. A summary of my OCs and their stories so people know what i’m talking about when I post about them, huh?

*Ahem*

Troubled Waters - (Tagged as #into troubled waters here on tumblr since there’s already a movie by the same name & I don’t wanna clog their tag.) Red, Purple, & Blue don't remember anything about their lives- not even their names; but they're pretty sure they’re not supposed to be stuck in a seemingly endless aquarium, devoid of any other people, filled with puzzles, escape rooms, traps, and mysterious doors. The response to such a situation seems obvious- work together to find a way out & recover their memories.

But as time goes on, it becomes clear that there's something more amiss. Nobody's getting hungry or thirsty, but they can still get hurt & feel pain. They're getting tired, but not sleepy. Forget mysterious- the aquarium's layout seems to defy any coherent laws of reality; & there's a strangely familiar ghost haunting the premises. All the while, their gradually returning memories bring with them old aches & dramas of the past, that threaten to break the team apart.

Can the three push past the depths of their pasts, so they can resurface into the future?

Chaos Before Apocalypse - Ishikawa Ezekiel finds out his mother, the well-beloved CEO of tech giant The Quantum Order, has secretly been doing unethical experiments; leading to the disappearance of his college schoolmate, Sanada Emiko, who’s been turned against her will into a monster. Teaming up with schoolmates Yoshino Tyler Kaito & Ryan Watson, along with Ryan’s little sibling Nova to form Team Chaos; they need to track down Emiko and whoever else has been affected by the Quantum Order’s plans, and figure out what those plans are in the first place, before it’s too late. …All while avoiding the violent rampage of Adam, the brother Zeke left behind.

Wishes Upon The Cosmic Clock - One fateful night on 27th June 2022, when disillusioned 32-year-old marketing consultant & part-time babysitter Madison Perultan, along with young 11-year-old aspiring game developer Akeidat Hart, respectively wish upon a comet to become a kid again & an adult sooner to escape the pressures of their lives, they’re thrown into two mirroring timelines- Kei is flung into the future of 2042 with an adult body, while Maddie is thrown back down memory lane to 2000 in her childhood body.

With the help of the anxious angel Darius Esmakina, who has no idea what he’s doing; & equipped with the ability to communicate across timelines in their shared dreams, the three have to find a way to return to the present, where they all belong, before reality falls apart in their hands.

…But in the meantime, why can’t Maddie spend more time playing with her old childhood friend, Charles Hudfren? And Kei is a bit curious about the new life of their old study-partner, Fiera Byrde.

Woah! Signal - Takes place in the same universe as & 9 years after the events of WUTCC. Wanting to make something new of her life, Stella Lyve has recently quit her old job as a physics teacher to pursue her life-long passion for investigation. …As a freelance journalist. She doesn’t feel quite ready for her dreams of being a private detective just yet.   

But now that she's actually started looking for them, it appears Gloomytown holds more conspiracies & injustices than first meets the eye. Between trying to unravel what it all means, staying true to her moral code in a world that simply says it's easier to be unjust, ...and also falling head over heels for her acquaintance-turned-investigative-partner Madison Perultan; can Stella hold her ground & find her footing in the world, or will she be caught up in the seemingly endless storm?

The Bubbled Woods - After running away from the pressure of her royal duties, Princess Ice Cream Cake the Fourth, under the alias of Strawberry Ice Cream, has managed to secure a nice & quiet life for herself; living in the farthest reaches of the kingdom, befriending the famous Moonlit Magician, Fenzire Von Sprinklemuffin; who she can't help but feel an inexplicable connection to.

But when trouble in the form of Cream’s mother, Queen Cloycoat Cake the Second, as well as the following rebellion led by Cream's other parent, Almond, comes knocking at their door… can the duo stay & hold their ground? Or will Cream be forced to run away from home a second time?

The Hellish Cycle - Azalea Skye's afterlife was quite literally turned upside-down when she accidentally found herself in the coldest reaches of Hell, right by the abode of the grumpy & aloof Atlas Emberson. From then on, an unlikely, budding friendship forms, as she begins visiting him in Hell more regularly. But their idle hanging-outs are cut short when an incident occurs, revealing Atlas to be plagued by a mysterious curse.

A Hellbound soul that's unable to reincarnate, an unknown force hiding in the shadows, and a frostbite infection that seeks to drag every last being, dead or alive, into the frozen wastelands of Hell; the clock is ticking & they're on a race to save all of humanity, and it looks like Atlas' curse is the key to all of it.

Hero's Sandbox - 13 year old sheltered city girl Kayla Zhong was not at all prepared to be suddenly isekai'd into the fantasy planet of Plat. ...At least it's peaceful and she's being given shelter by an immortal goat librarian until she gets to go home.

I just got through the part in Night in the Woods where Mae gets into an argument with Bea and then her mom and like…damn, that hurt my feelings

Like all the characters in this game are so relatable and understandable but in such different ways that make them clash with each other.

Mae is a mentally ill naive opinionated honest idealist who is reasonably upset that the world around her is worse than what she thinks it should be and that spurs her argument with Bea. Mae loves the people around her and wants the best for them but she can struggle with expressing that due to her occasional emotional immaturity. Bea is more of a jaded realist who is far too familiar with how the deeply flawed world works and is dissatisfied with her life but has also accepted that. Mae wants Bea to do what she thinks is right but Bea doesn’t want to risk messing stuff up or making things harder for herself and her family’s business.

Mae’s mother wants the best for her child and put a lot of time and money into Mae’s future and is reasonably upset when Mae leaves it all behind and won’t tell her why. Mae is struggling mentally but doesn’t know how to express that yet or she’s too scared to. Mae is reveling in the comforting familiarity of her childhood home because she doesn’t know how to cope after her breakdown. She jumps to defend herself and ends up saying hurtful things that she doesn’t mean and it upsets people and AAAAAAH
