Huntresses Winter Masterlist
âTo a good hunt!â Your brother Dean declared, rising his beer bottle into the air, clinking it with yours.
âWhere I was the bait, as always.â, you grumbled. Just because you were victim to an unknown curse, that made you immune to the bites of monsters, and you didn´t like it one bit.
âIt´s not my fault they prefer virgins. Stop being a cry baby and decide what you want to eat. I am starving.â Dean told you again, just like many times before.
âI know. But it is your fault that you are none.â
â(y/n). We are older than you. So it´s quite natural that-â
âShut it Moose. You two grew into this lifestyle just like I did. Only reason why I am still one is because neither of you ever leaves my side for long and because, unlike our brother, I have some morals.â And donât forget this stupid curse. âI am 24 for fucks sake.â
âOne day you will find someone that isn´t afraid of us and-â Sam started.
â- until then we will continue to kill those assholes.â Dean ended the conversation he had grown tired of. âNow order.â
Waiting for the waitress (that kept flirting with your brothers and glaring at you Suck it up girl), you felt an uneasiness rise inside your stomach, the hair on your neck rose and your canines sharpen.
It all was part of the curse the witch had put on you. No one knew what kind of curse it was; the witched death hadnât lifted it, so you were left with a few characteristics of an animal, like sharpened senses that resurfaced once in a while. You never harmed anyone and the sharpened senses helped with hunting, so your father had left you alive, only insisting you get an tattoo that sealed whatever may be inside of you. Later when you brothers and you met Castiel, Gabriel and Crowley neither of them knew what was wrong with you.
The feelings you had, usually appeared when you were in danger, but this time it felt different. You choose to ignore it and blamed it on the stress you had today.
âYou still there sis?â Sam asked, worry evident in his voice.
âYeah, just need to pee but am to lazy to stand up at the moment, so I am arguing with myself if I should get up or not.â
He shook his head on hearing your answer and took a sip of his beer.
âNope, I really need to pee. Protect my beer Sammy!â
âSure Sis.â
Your statement wasn´t a complete lie, you really needed to pee; but the main reason was that you wanted to make sure your senses didnât play tricks with you.
It had happened once before; your animalistic side had been attracted to another customer of the bar you and your brother had been at. He was almost killed, because the three of you had thought of him as a threat.
Not happening again.
Finished with your business, you stood in front of the mirror washing your hands, when you felt another tuck at your core. This time it felt like the times when Cas teleported you to a different location, only did you fell unconscious.
You woke up just like many times before: Stripped to your underwear, tied to a chair in a cold room with no weapons and no idea where you were.
Again? Why always me?
Your body had quite the collection of scars from situations like this; your brothers on the other hand had always been lucky and no scars left behind, and you couldnât deny you were envy of that.
Opening your eyes, you looked around for any indication what was going on. You sat in a sterile white room with only a mirror in front of you.
Strange, so clean. Well, once is always the first time.
Nothing was there to tell you who brought you here.
Time to get out of here.
âCas! I need your help. Get your ass down here.â
Nothing.
âCas?!â
Still nothing.
Shit, not good.
âGabriel?!â Now you growled when nothing happened again.
The one time I need help, no one answers. Fine I will get out by myself then. Since when did they get so professional?
A sudden movement of the corner of your eye caught your attention, a door that hadn´t been there before opened and a man in a white uniform entered.
Looks like a labrat.
âFinally awake I see.â He sneered, âWho are you?â
Hearing that you began to laugh.
âReally? REALLY? Dude you must be very knew to this. You know, usually they know who I am when they come to question me. First day on the job?â
You heard the sound almost before feeling the sting of the slap he send at you.
âIf you wanted to convince me to answer, you failed. You hit worse than a five year old handicaped girl with no arms.â You teased. Better find out who they are.
âYou donât want to speak? I will make you speak.â He threatened, but you only laughed.
âSee those scars. I never said anything and those who did these were a lot more dangerous than you will ever dream of. But good look, one time is always the first.â After another punch to your gut, the man left you alone, only to return seconds later with a cart full of torture instruments.
âStill donât want to talk?â
âNope.. But I have to admit this is the first time the instruments are clean. I already like you more than the assholes in the past.â
âHave it your way then.â He sneered.
âNothing I havenât gone through jet. But go ahead.â
The next two hours or so (you had become quite good at guessing the time that passed over the years) consisted of punches to every region of your body (resulting in at least two broken rips and a ton of new bruises) before he started using some of the instruments. But she didn´t say a word, much to the anger of the man.
It wasn´t that you felt no pain, but it was true that one can get used to everything after some time and you had gotten used to ignoring pain when you had to.
âSpeak or you die! Speak now and I can save your live.â He said, motioning at the cuts on your body.
âDon´t be stupid. Those cuts are not deep, they were made to hurt, not to kill. But nice try though.â You send him an innocent smile.
He just wanted to hit you again, when the door opened again, and another man entered.
âDoctor, that is enough!â
âJust tell me what you want. I am tired of this good cop bad cop shit.â You sighted, not patient enough to listen to another story.
âWell well well. Impatient aren´t we?â He chuckled.
âYes. This isn´t my first interrogation of this kind. So hurry up I need somewhere to be.â
âWe are Hydra. Or better what is left of it. But with your help we will take what is rightfully ours.â He told you in a proud voice.
âI pass, thank you. Now that you told me who you are and why I am here. Why don´t you tell me how I got here.â You demanded.
âWhat do you know about Demons?â He asked.
âThey are assholes, hard to kill if oyu don´t know how. Angels are worse though, all this high anf mighty shit and then they stab you in the back. Hellhounds are kinda cute. I always wanted to have one, maybe I could ask Crowley if Juliette had a puppy I can have.â You mused aloud, ignoring the glares the men send you. âSo, what do they have to do with me. Neither you or he is one.â
âInteresting. We wanted to summon a demon of old, but got you instead. Any idea why?â
âNope. But let me know if you find out. Can I go now?â
Just when the men wanted to answer, the door opened again and a soldier entered and an alarm sounded.
âSirs, we are under attack. The Avengers attacking the base.â He stated.
âShe will join us. Soldier, put her in handcuffs and escort us to the port.â
Well I don´t know where I am, better just go with them and then leave as soon as the possibility arises.
Her hands got handcuffed and the little group got escorted by six men in soldier uniforms. They walked though the hallways in a hurry. The closer you got to your destination, the louder became the sound of fighting.
Your animalistic side began to grow restless, getting ready to fight. Stepping out of a large hangar door into the open.
The scene that unfolded in front of you could be taken out of an comic book: a red and gold robot flew through the air firing laser beams, another man was dressed in a full body condom printed with the American flag throwing punches and an oversized metal frisbee, then there was a green big thing that smashed and punched, another one was fighting with a dagger.
Now or never!
Within seconds your hands were free and you stole the combat knife of the guard besides you and killed him. Running as fast as you can towards the wall you had decided to use as an escape route.
You heard the scientists shout for you to stop, for the guards to catch you alive. Â Not wanting to kill you, they didnât use full force , but you did.
Gunning and slicing, you made your way through the masses of enemies. Muscle memory took over and you thought about what to do once you were over the wall.
âCas! Gabriel!â But still there was no answer.
Throwing away the empty gun, you reached down to get another knife. This turned out to be an mistake, because when you leaned down one of the soldiers grabbed you from behind in an afford to choke you unconscious. Being used to train with your brothers (that were taller then the attacker) you easily threw him over your shoulder and embedded one of the knifes in his eye sockets, killing him instantly.
Suddenly a searing pain went through your leg, a pain you knew all to well: a bullet.
Not again!
Ignoring (or better trying to ignore) the pain you had to turn around and find another escape route, the injured leg made it impossible to climb the wall like you first intended. Looking around you found a big hole in the wall, only problem: is was on the other side of the battlefield.
Fuck me hard.
Limping as fast as you could you dodged anything and everything that wanted to stop or harm you, knowing that you weren´t be able to survive if you stopped.
Wasn´t it be for your trained senses and the animalistic side, you dodged an arrow and the supersized frisbee at the last moment.
That was close.
Grabbing the combat knife, you stopped and took an defensive stance.
The fight was over and now you faced those you saw attacking the face prior.
âLay down your arms! And we won´t hurt you.â Mr America stated.
âListen, you were obviously held captive by those cretins, so be a nice girl and stay down.â The man (you now saw was in the metal armour) told you, earning him a glare and middle finger. You hated to be treated like a little girl.
âWe are five and you are only one. Are injured and only have one knife.â An archer said.
âGROA!â The green thing shouted, but you didn´t even flinch. What didn´t get unnoticed by the men.
Your instincts felt someone approach from behind and you caught a little movement in the corner of your eye. Wasn´t it for the curse, there was no way in hell you would have been able to see the dark haired man that sneaked up to you, covered by magic.
âDon´t!â You growled, laying the blade at his throat. The moment he felt the cold metal, he became visible.
âImpressive. M`Lady, we mean no harm.â
âThe arrow and oversized metal frisbee told otherwise.â You stated with a sneer.
âWe didn´t knew if you were friend or foe.â Mr America stated, taking a step towards you, only for you to take a step back.
âYou are telling me that you are fighting 24 year old women only dressed in underwear with bruises and cuts covering her body, on a daily bases then? Who are you and what do you want.â
âHow long did they held you captive that you don´t know who we are?â The tin man asked with a baffled voice.
âA few hours.â
âYou are of this world and jet you are not. There is dark magic surrounding you. Say where do you hail from?â The dark-haired sorcerer mused.
âI moved so much I don´t know where I come from, but I currently life a few miles away from Lebanon, Kansas.â
âWe currently are a few miles from Lebanon Kansas.â
âThatâs not true. I now the are like nothing else. This is not there. Unless-â I need to check that.
âI need to make a few calls. Does anybody has a burner or something like that?â You asked, looking every male in the eyes.
Sensing magic being used next to you, you looked at the sorcerer that held an smartphone towards you to grab.
âI assure you, this will work just fine.â He smiled.
âThank you.â You grabbed the phone and called every number you and your brothers had used, as well as Cas´s and Crowley´s 666. But to no avail, not one number was taken.
Shit. Where am I?
Realizing there was no way that you would get back with your brothers soon (and having your injuries in your mind) you let the knife fall to the floor and lifted the hands in surrender.
âName´s (y/n) Winchester. I surrender.â
Everybody relaxed. When you wanted to step forward your leg gave in and the world turned black.
Not again.

Twilight is behind her and now she is a European arthouse darling and a hit on Saturday Night Live, says Jonathan Dean
âKristen Stewart is perhaps the best film actress under 30.â I wrote that last year, after an interview with her Twilight co-star and former boyfriend, Robert Pattinson â and this year, I am totally convinced I am right. But it turns out the vampire sagaâs fans remain faithful, and some devotees of Pattinson, after the coupleâs split, arenât exactly fond of his ex. My social-media mentions were full of fury for a month. âBecause they disagreed with you?â Stewart laughs, when I tell her all this. âBecause they were, like, âF*** her?ââ Exactly. If you have only seen the actress mope adolescently through the Twilight saga, you may think the above claim quite mad. Move on to her most recent work, though, and you will discover a 26-year-old who has evolved into a presence so self-assured, she is now an arthouse star, especially in Europe: the first American woman to have won a CĂŠsar, the French equivalent of the Oscars. Another preconception is that she is all surly hunch and millennial cynicism, hostile to press inquiries after they zeroed in on her relationship with a married director. Her image is kohl-eyed, cool, aloof, and itâs so entrenched that one review of her recent hosting of the satirical American television series Saturday Night Live called her âsurprisingly charmingâ. Does she understand why? âOne hundred per cent.â (Thatâs a chatty affirmation she uses a lot.) In truth, though, Stewart is as engaging to talk to as Tom Hanks, the actor everyone says is the best to interview in the business. On her right arm is a tattoo of the light at the top of Picassoâs Guernica, inked on to remind her that we can overcome darkness if we flip the switch. She seems to be all glow herself these days, and itâs mostly thanks to her professional achievements. âI feel so sturdy on my feet right now,â she says, at her usual fast clip, proud of a run of indie roles that has put her back where she began, and belongs
First came 2014âs Clouds of Sils Maria, in which Stewart more than held her own against the Oscar winner Juliette Binoche, in a more or less two-hander about a young womanâs challenging relationship with her older boss, a sensitive actress. That same year, with moody tenderness, she played Julianne Mooreâs daughter in the Alzheimerâs drama Still Alice. Next, there was a small role as an ambitious young lawyer struggling towards greater things in Kelly Reichardtâs Certain Women (just released), one of those films that starts with sad sex and never cheers up.
Best of all is Personal Shopper, the second film she has made with the French director Olivier Assayas, after Clouds of Sils Maria, and her first lead in years. It is difficult to describe. At its most basic, Personal Shopper is a darkly lit adult ghost story about a woman who borrows a lot of high-end fashion for her celebrity boss â The Others meets The Devil Wears Prada. Stewart stands in a haunted house saying âLewisâ a lot. Lewis is her recently dead twin brother, and she is waiting for his spirit to manifest itself in Paris. Both are mediums. To cope with the tension of this binary life, Stewartâs improbably named Maureen smokes lots and rides around town on a moped, looking cool. She receives anonymous texts that say things like âI know youâ, which is unsettling enough, especially when youâre looking for a dead sibling. How, I ask, can the film be pitched in one-line Hollywood style? Stewart laughs and, totally believably, says sheâs not one for brevity. She barely stops talking during the interview. âItâs about a girl who finds she is suddenly a foreigner, in every sense of the word, not just geographically, but in life. Sheâs gone through this traumatic event, and it starts an existential crisis, where she questions everything thatâs real. She feels completely alone.â
Hold on. Is she still talking about Personal Shopper, or Twilight? Especially her personal experience of making that juggernaut, which brought in nearly $3.4bn at the box office worldwide and took over her life for five films. No, she says, she is not talking about the latter. âI really never felt bogged down by Twilight,â she starts and, rather than leave it at that, continues chewing it over, piling sentence upon sentence
Every step turns you into the person you are, and yeah, [Twilight] shaped me enormously. Not just those movies, but the subsequent effect. It made my involvement in Sils Maria more interesting, for sure â ironic and meta.â You mean the line when your character says, âItâs celebrity news. Itâs funâ? Or when she mocks a blockbuster for having werewolves in it, as Twilight did? âOne hundred per cent,â she replies. âThose lines in someone elseâs mouth would have been interesting, but not, like, âWhoa. She really knows what sheâs talking about!ââ Some of the filmâs backers were surprised, Assayas says, when he first chose to work with this Californian tween idol. But he emphasises her courage, shooting in the Dolomites, where it is ânot exciting after sunsetâ, far from home, surrounded by a foreign crew.
European arthouse could be seen as Stewartâs very own panic room, the title of the breakthrough film she made when she was 11, with Jodie Foster. It provides a refuge for her. Assayas agrees that she did seem relieved to be on a film like his; he then goes on to bracket her with the greats. âIâd compare Kristen to Harriet Andersson,â he says of one of Ingmar Bergmanâs favourite (and coolest) leads. âThereâs no greater compliment.â The best opportunities for me are whenever I feel a little bit scared
On screen, she has perfected a bold yet vulnerable style, all tilted head and low-key murmuring. In Personal Shopper, it is employed to such a captivating extent that, when she says the mad line âShe vomited this ectoplasmâ, you nod along, rather than cackle. She is, simply, not a showy actress. Foster nailed it when she said: âKristen isnât interested in blurting her emotions in front of her.â So this career renaissance in the subtler territory of European art cinema makes total sense
âIâm used to people getting awards for extreme performances,â she says of her surprise CĂŠsar win for Sils Maria. âIn the States, itâs rare for people to get critical attention for things that are so quiet. Sometimes, you donât show how youâre feeling, and that actually speaks louder than shoving it down someoneâs throat.â Her next project, though, is not obviously arthouse: Underwater, a film talked up as an oceanic take on Michael Bayâs Armageddon. Itâs an odd fit for her, perhaps, but she compares the depth of the story to Christopher Nolanâs Interstellar and insists it wonât be a blockbuster that âstops with the concept, so you think, âCool, that was a great conceptââ. Maybe something of this scale is the only logical next step for her. This is an actress, after all, who went to the middle of nowhere up a mountain with a pack of foreigners, straight from being mollycoddled in one of the biggest franchises of all time. She wants to surprise. âI want to push myself,â she says. âIn my life, when Iâm emotional about something, Iâm an extreme person. Subtlety is not my go-to. I just donât want to fake anything, but the best opportunities for me are whenever I feel a little bit scared.â
Her recent SNL performance featured one sketch, inspired by the sapphic French film Blue Is the Warmest Colour, in which she romped in a kitchen with another woman. Earlier in the show, she had beamed as she told the watching millions that she was âso gayâ. She came out in public last summer, and the young star who quivered through half a decade of the Twilight vampire saga, increasingly withdrawn, seemed a completely new woman â a finished painting instead of a work-in-progress. âI wasnât hiding anything,â she says, when asked why she is now open about her love life whereas before, dating Pattinson, she stayed silent. âI didnât talk about my first relationships that went public because I wanted things that are mine to be mine. I hated it that details of my life were being turned into a commodity and peddled around the world. But considering I had so many eyes on me, I suddenly realised [my private life] affects a greater number of people than just me. It was an opportunity to surrender a bit of what was mine, to make even one other person feel good about themselves. âIf it didnât seem like a relevant topic,â she continues, her tone both poised and passionate, keeping up a melodic flow, âlike something that needed help, I would have kept my life private for ever. But then I canât walk outside holding somebodyâs hand, as Iâm followed everywhere. When I was dating Rob, the public were the enemy â and that is no way to live. It wasnât this grand statement, âI was so confused! Now Iâve realised who I am!â I have not been struggling.â She laughs. âIt just seemed important, and topical.â I would be hard pushed to name a more confident interviewee. In January, she screened her directorial debut, Come Swim, a 17-minute oddity that arrived with a research paper entitled Bringing Impressionism to Life with Neural Style Transfer. You just didnât get that with Twilight. While her future will be on both sides of the camera, she also wants to go on stage one day. It was the âhuman energyâ from the Saturday Night Live crowd that persuaded her she may be cut out for live performance. Another appeal is that theatre is the ultimate challenge for a Los Angeles native born to entertainment-industry parents and raised on that cityâs business: the next big test. She has been reading Sam Shepard and loves the way that setting can be implied in his work, rather than having to be there for everyone to see. Which, in fact, rather neatly describes her acting. Imagine her in a Pinter play. She is nothing like I expected, which was that there would be periods of silence and questions unanswered. She is friends with Patti Smith and has been called the female James Dean by the actress/rocker Juliette Lewis. That sort of support and acquaintance is intimidating. Yet she is friendly, honest, humble and, perhaps most impressive, unflappably polite, especially about Twilight, despite the continued bile spat at her by fans who think, in various ways, she has wronged them. âI donât view the whole Twilight blow-up as being generally traumatic,â she says, delicately. âIt would take someone with a really unhealthy amount of ego to be upset that everyone doesnât love them. It would be silly to say I donât care what people think of my work and who I am, but stuff is polarising, period.â Back to that line about her being âsurprisingly charmingâ. Iâve just grown out of it.â
