Bruce had known the letter was a forgery. But the threat had been real, he had felt it in his bones. With an urge from his beautiful wife, and a pink eye infestation, he'd hitched a ride from a friend and high tailed it to 'Mount Rageous'. The sight that met him had nearly stopped his heart.
