You Are My Home
Tumblr media
I DON'T OWN THE PICTURE
Information: This will probably have multiple parts but stand alone (?) I'm a bit nervous to post this cause this is a more personal uhh imagines 😂
Summary: It's been a long time since your friends saw you, a lot has change and you are in a better place in your life. Specially the relationship part
Pairings: Elizabeth Olsen x Reader
Theme: fluff
TW: none (?)
Word Count: 2,241
Tumblr media
"Hey guys" you greeted, giving a small smile to your friends. It's been a long time since you all had the chance to talk together
Everyone has been busy and since you left your original city 2 years ago, the best you can do is chat with them once in a while
You are confident that the relationship with them is strong but you are sure many things have changed. But change is good, specially since you left with heavy heart and full of uncertainty
Right now you are in a good position in your life, and everyone is free, or at least made sure to make time. But still, the best you can do is video call for now
After 2 years this is the first time you've seen everyone. While they keep in touch and get together once in a while. You just were too far, both physically and mentally
"Hey, long time no see" Steve teased and you chuckled
"Damn you look good" Natasha commented "been taking care of yourself, I see"
You made a face and nodded "happy now I finally hit the gym like you always nag me to?" She chuckled
"Hey, just want you healthy"
"I know, thank you. Your voice is actually what pushed me in training" you leaned on the table, placing your cheeks on your knuckles "I can just hear you berating me for being so weak"
Everyone chuckled, agreeing that she does do that
"But in all seriousness, you look happy" Bucky complimented
Sighing, you nodded, finally at the position in your life where you can actually see yourself having a bright future
"I am, finally got my shit together, mostly at least"
The topic then transferred to your other friends, enjoying their presence even just from the screen. Laughing together just like the old times
"(Y/n)?" You turn your head to the voice, your girlfriend, Elizabeth calling for you coming from the second floor
"Darling, I'm in the dining" you answered and immediately heard footsteps
Without looking at the screen of your laptop, she smiled, excitedly tilt your head by your chin, kissing you deeply
Every one of your friends are stunned. Of course, you never showed them any public display, not like you had the chance anyway since you never really pursued anyone for years you were with them and now here you are kissing Elizabeth Olsen
Very famous actress, part of big filming companies, a producer as well
"Damn (Y/n)..." Natasha whispered and you laughed when Lizzie finally realized you were actually on a video call
"Oh no, sorry baby" she said wiping your mouth and hers with her sleeves, you shake your head to stop her
"You're fine, or not. But Lizzie, meet my friends" you gestured on the screen and Lizzie shyly waved at them. Blush dusting her cheeks as she pursed her lips into a decent smile. Your taste still lingering on her mouth
They said a quick hi to be polite then suddenly spoke all at once berating you for not telling them you are dating "the Elizabeth Olsen". The actress, the girl of your dreams
Then it was your turn to blush when Bucky mentioned that she's the reason you never had any interest in other people. She was just too 'shiny' to you, the other just seemed dull
Elizabeth looked at you with new found love in her eyes as you got bullied by your friends. She can't help but give you a quick kiss on the cheek before apologizing for interrupting your moment with them again
"Oh no, you did not interrupt at all. We probably wouldn't even know she's dating if you didn't come" Tony said and everyone told him to shut up
"It's not like how it sounds, Ms. Olsen. (Y/n) is very proud of you, she just really doesn't like speaking about her relationships" Peter explained and Elizabeth chuckled
"Oh I know, that's why we are not in public anyway" she patted your head "but it's okay. I don't want to drag her in the mess of Hollywood so if you can just keep all this between us" she gave everyone a small smile and they either shrugged or nodded
"No problem" Natasha answered "I'll make sure these idiots don't slip up"
Elizabeth gave them a big smile before she left to get breakfast. Once she is gone though they started attacking you with questions again
"Fine fine" you sighed, finally giving up "we met a few months after I left, I applied to the Marvel Studio as set decorator. I was fixing up the set the night before with a bunch of my coworkers so the shooting will proceed with ease. I'm usually just there at night so when she came looking for her phone, which I actually picked up and was planning to give to the lost and found before leaving, they pointed her to me. I gave it to her, she thanked me and that was it'' you shrugged
"Then how did you two got together"
Pursing your lips, knowing they wouldn't stop anyway you told them
It was the wrap up of the filming for Endgame. The biggest movie you will ever work with if you are honest
A bunch of A-listers are there and a lot of demands have to be met so for the first time, the whole movie you had to be in and out of the sets. You barely slept or ate in the past few months. You apartment even collected dust since all you did there is go home, take a shower, then go out
You mostly slept on set. By the end of the filming your body is screaming for rest. But you kept going anyway. This project is a very big deal for you, specially you lead the look of the set. anything that needs to be changed, moved, removed, added to the set goes through you
So basically, all day you stand in front of the set, watching the designers work their magics and you requesting changes, assessing the atmosphere in pre production and etc. and at night, clean up and set up is a bitch
One morning you were so tired you wanted to pass out there and then when Elizabeth enter the area. She was shooting all her parts today that can be soloed
You tried to keep yourself awake and alert to anything and everything so when you noticed an uneven ramp and props that she will unfortunately stepped on, your body started running before your mind can comprehend what's happening
She let out a squeal when she broke her ankle and fall but before she hit the ground and risk further injuries on her wrist that is sure to break her fall, you were catching her
But your body felt so weak that instead of staying up right, she fell on you. At least she wasn't hurt at any part of her body but you were, you hit your head on impact but it was minor
If ever, it only made you dizzy
She stood up and you did as well. You rubbed your hand on your face, ordering staffs to re-arrange and clean up the set so no more obstacle can cause accidents
You didn't even dare look at her eyes knowing those green orbs will suck your life out of you. You asked her if she's okay, also apologizing for the dangerous set up. It was overlooked that she would be indeed walking in heels, boots but heels nevertheless
"It's fine, I'm fine" she said, smiling but her eyes are full of worry "are you though? You hit your head when you broke my fall" she said, even unconsciously touching it
"Uh yeah..." you awkwardly smiled at her "it doesn't hurt, thanks" you then slowly back away. When the props have been arrange, the shooting started but your body felt so weak you had to call your assistant to cover for you
You went to the area where you always rested and slept. You were out for almost 2 hours when a cough woke you up. You sat up, rubbing your eyes and ask what they need without even looking at them
"I...brought you food, and coffee" your head snapped, looking at the voice you only dream of talking . She had a small and awkward smile and shy look in her eyes directed to you
"I was looking for you where you usually stand but noticed you weren't there" she explained, your face obviously gave your confusion away "I wanted to thank you again, the stunt director said that if it weren't for you, I would most likely break my wrist in that fall"
You slowly nodded, giving her a small smile "well, it was our fault for not triple checking the set"
"No no, please don't do that, accidents happen, I'm just here to thank you. It was me being clumsy too" You look at her with newfound admiration, a firm believer of 'never meet your idol, it will disappoint you'. But it wasn't the case with her at all
You are aware of the rumors that she's actually very kind, down to earth and serious with her job. It's a good rumor considering she is well known and if you are honest, you know deep in your heart it is true, but you never get your hopes up high
If only you met in a different circumstance, maybe you would think of trying to flirt a little but you know your place. This is a work situation and you need to be as professional as you can be. She is still an actress after all, you need to respect her space
It doesn't mean that she is being kind to you, it's an invitation to step into that space of hers. So you muster the most professional smile you can
"Well thanks, it's really no problem" you said with indifference and if you are actually not too much in your head, you will see her frown with the change of tone
She then handed you the food and the coffee "I'd actually like to talk more again sometimes" she said, swallowing the tightness in her throat "maybe for a coffee?"
The invitation did wonders in your body. Your heart is just beating a tad bit faster, your stomach filled with butterflies, your cheeks turning red. All the cliché reactions you can feel, it's there but then you moved and you groaned, your body sore from over work
You were so sure you wanted to say yes, but your body clearly wanted to say no. After this shooting, you just want to drop dead in your apartment and maybe wake up 3 months after
"I'm just so tired recently, I will be no fun" you chuckled, exhaustion dripping on every syllable "but hey, maybe a few weeks after the filming is done, if you are still up for it?"
The sadness of rejection from earlier was turned into a big grin. Her excitement sparkled on her eyes "sure, I'd give you my number then"
You nodded and gave her your phone. She didn't even have to ask for a password because you never put one in. It's easier since you give your phone to your assistants all the time to contact people for updates on props shipments and other business related matter
She excitedly tapped her number, saving it as 'Scarlet Witch' and that made you giggle. Using her screen name that's not even canon yet
"Okay, Scarlet Witch, I'll call you when I finally get some well deserve hibernation, then maybe I'll be more fun to talk to than a usual" She laughed and nodded and you are so sure you can never be more in love with her voice
She then said a few more things before leaving you to rest. You thanked her again for the food and coffee before she disappeared
"I can't believe you almost rejected her" Steve said wide eyed "she's like, your dream woman"
"Oh I can" Natasha said "(Y/n) doesn't hit uncertain, have you ever played with her on anything? All her hits are aces!"
"But it's like the chance of a lifetime!"
"Yeah! That's why you make sure you attack when you know it will hit!"
The two started bickering and you all just watched, laughing at their same old antics. Elizabeth then walk to your side, offering you a fruit bowl for breakfast, you thanked her and then invited her to seat besides you and she did, you kissed her off camera
"What was that?" She chuckled but tried to catch your lips again when you pulled away, you giggled at her pouty face
"Nothing, just suddenly can't believe I'm actually dating you" she sighed, giving you a small smile
"You might think that you're the lucky one but it's actually me" she said, pressing a hand on your cheeks and squeezing it lightly "you make my life whole, (Y/n), you filled the space in my heart where money or popularity cannot"
"And you picked up and fixed my broken pieces" you countered, leaning on her hand that's now just slowly rubbing your cheeks
"I guess we are both lucky then"
"Yeah"
Your eyes both glint the same way. Feeling like you finally found where you belong, in each other. You are home

Just a Twinge
Read on AO3
In which Annabeth finally gets that ankle injury checked out, Will and Nico are a kind-of couple, and Percy Jackson is a protective dork.
“I do not need a cast.”
“You definitely need a cast,” Will said, handing her the x-ray film he had been studying seconds earlier. He at least had the decency to sound apologetic.
“This looks fine,” Annabeth said, despite the fact that she had no idea how to read an x-ray film, or what she should even be looking for.
“Look,” Will pointed to a small shadow on the film that Annabeth hadn’t even noticed, “That’s a fracture. It looks like it healed most of the way and then re-broke.”
“And it’s still broken?”
“Looks like it.”
“But how can I be walking on it if it's still broken?” Annabeth asked, crossing her arms over her chest. It was a useless, stubborn gesture, but it made her feel better anyways.
Will gave her a look, one that was far too long-suffering for a fifteen year old’s face.
“Does it hurt when you step on it?” he asked dryly.
“Your bedside manner is terrible,” Annabeth deflected. Will rolled his eyes, but unfortunately did not rise to the bait.
“Answer the question Annabeth.”
Annabeth glared at her ankle, her stupid, traitorous ankle, that had caused nothing but trouble since she broke it in Arachne’s lair. She knew Will was wrong; it hadn’t re-broken, not in the sense of the bone physically snapping again. No, Tartarus had re-injured her, unknit the fragile regrowth that had been keeping her ankle together, and had never let it heal properly again. She’d taken plenty of ambrosia and nectar in the meantime, but her ankle remained stubbornly messed up.
So yeah, it hurt. Most of the time it was fine, just a twinge, and she could deal with a twinge. She’d had a lot worse than a twinge.
And, okay, sometimes when she got stressed it was worse than a twinge. Sometimes it would turn into a limp, which was admittedly pretty bad. And maybe Percy had been bugging her to get it checked out for two weeks now, and she had been ignoring him because it was fine. Or it had been fine until last night during capture the flag, when it had switched to a limp right in the middle of the game and had neglected to ever switch back to a twinge.
Which is how she had ended up in the infirmary being stared down by a usually very chipper son of Apollo, who did not look very chipper now.
Will took Annabeth’s silence as an admission of guilt, which of course it was, but he didn’t need to sigh so loudly about it.
“You’re lucky you’ve been able to walk on it as long as you have, but you should’ve stopped putting pressure on it a month ago.”
Annabeth opened her mouth to protest, but Will continued before she could get a word out.
“I know it wasn’t possible at the time. But if you keep going how you’re going, you could permanently mess up your ankle.”
Annabeth didn’t have a good response for that. She had known in the back of her mind that this was probably what Will was going to tell her, and that was why she had waited so long to get it checked out in the first place.
“How long do I have to wear the cast?” she asked in defeat. Will gave her a pitying look that did not make her hopeful for his answer.
“Six weeks, probably.”
“Six weeks?”
Will winced.
“You might be able to switch to a boot the last two, but it depends how healed it is.”
“But—” Annabeth started, then faltered. She and Percy were supposed to start school in a month. How was she supposed to go into a new school with a cast? That was like the most embarrassing, cliche crap ever.
And it was embarrassing that she was even embarrassed about it. She’d faced monsters and titans and giants and literally the pits of hell. A little cast wasn’t going to kill her, but for some reason it still felt like the end of the world.
Will was still looking at her expectantly, waiting for the end of her sentence.
“This sucks,” she said. Will cracked a sympathetic smile, which might have felt mean if anyone else were doing it, but Will was borderline incapable of genuine meanness.
“Yeah, it does,” he agreed.
“When do I have to get it on?” Annabeth basically already knew the answer, but she hoped somehow that she was wrong. Will gave her another sympathetic look.
“The sooner you put it on, the sooner you get to take it off,” Will said, which was as good an answer as if he’d simply said it outright.
“So right now?” Annabeth asked, stomach sinking. Will winced again.
“Yeah. Sorry.”
“This sucks,” Annabeth repeated, because it deserved to be repeated.
“Do you want someone to go get Percy?” Will asked. That should have been an embarrassing question, more embarrassing than the cast, but Annabeth didn’t even have to think about it.
“Yes please.” she sighed.
Will pulled back the curtain around the bed Annabeth was situated on.
“Hey Nico!” he called.
Annabeth hadn’t even noticed, or maybe he hadn’t been there when she came in, but Nico was in the room, curled up like a cat, sleeping. There were plenty of open beds he could have taken, but for some reason he’s chosen a stiff plastic chair to take his nap on.
“Nico!” Will called again, but Nico did not stir. Will took a roll of soft medical tape from the table beside him and threw it with impeccable aim, nailing Nico right in the shoulder.
“Ow,” Nico said, voice muffled, and sounding more confused than hurt. He sat up, rubbing his head groggily. “What was that for?”
“Go get Percy,” Will ordered.
“Why?” Nico asked. Then he spotted Annabeth, and recognition spilled over his features.
“Oh. Hey, Annabeth.”
“Hey.”
“Ankle?”
Annabeth grimaced. Maybe it was just that Nico’s proclivity for sensing death also extended to sensing injuries, or maybe she’d done a worse job hiding it than she thought.
“Yeah,” she admitted.
Nico yawned, wide and long, stretching his arms. Annabeth was once again reminded of a housecat.
“Okay, fine. Be right back,” Nico said.
He was gone in a flash. When Annabeth glanced over at Will, he was staring out the door Nico had disappeared out of with a sort of dopey grin on his face.
“Are you two dating yet?” Annabeth asked, snapping Will back to reality. He blinked, face completely blank.
“What?”
“You and Nico. Are you official?”
Everyone had sort of suspected, what with Nico trailing behind Will like a shadow the past few weeks. But better to ask than say something potentially embarrassing in front of Nico. The last thing Annabeth wanted to do was scare him off again.
“Uhh,” Will rubbed the back of his head nervously, his face going slightly red, “I think so?”
“You think so? What the hell does that mean?” Annabeth said, though she was grinning.
“You and Percy got to pine over each other for four years before you did something about it, can’t I get two weeks of peace?” Will groaned, plopping down on the rolling chair beside Annabeth’s bed.
“Yeah, but that was different,” Annabeth protested, “There was the prophecy and the war and all that.”
“A convenient excuse,” Will said. He had rolled over to the cabinet, and was starting to pull supplies out.
“It’s a great excuse, actually, but that’s beside the point,” Annabeth said, waving her hand dismissively.
“Sure. Great.”
“Whatever. We’re not talking about me, we’re talking about you.”
Will took a deep breath, then let it out noisily.
“I’m pretty sure we’re dating. Is that good enough for you?”
Annabeth did have the opportunity to answer whether or not this was good enough for her, because in the next moment the door opened again, and Percy burst through, Nico nowhere in sight.
“Are you okay?” he asked breathlessly, his eyes already trained on her from across the room.
“Just my ankle,” Annabeth said. It was really, truly inconvenient how even a look from Percy could make her heart do jumping-jacks, even now. And the look he was giving her now was very concerned in a way that was very unfairly hot. “I was being a baby so Will sent Nico for you.”
“Oh.” He sighed, relief washing over his worried expression.
Nico lurched through the door a second later, breathing heavily.
“You dumbass,” Nico panted, “If you had waited two seconds I could have told you it was nothing.”
“Did you run all the way here?” Will asked Percy, clearly amused and hiding it badly.
Percy shrugged, unembarrassed, which was also very hot, especially since he was still looking at Annabeth.
“Yeah,” he admitted easily.
“Dumbass,” Nico repeated, collapsing into his nap chair from earlier.
“Probably,” Percy agreed, pulling a chair up beside Annabeth’s bed.
“I swear, he heard ‘Annabeth’ and ‘infirmary’ and his eyes glazed over,” Nico said, glaring at Percy, though he seemed more bemused than angry.
“It might’ve been serious!” Percy protested.
“I would’ve led with that,” Nico said, exasperated, “You get I would have led with that, right?”
“You could have led with the ankle,” Percy pointed out, and Nico rolled his eyes so hard his irises disappeared for a second.
“Whatever. I’m getting food,” Nico said, standing up, stretching again.
“Bring me a snack?” Will asked hopefully.
“Ugh. Fine. Parasite,” Nico said. He was clearly doing his best to sound annoyed, and failing at it miserably.
“Thank you!” Will called in a singsong-y voice as Nico left. Nico flipped him off in response, disappearing through the door.
“Are you guys dating yet?” Percy asked, as soon as Nico was gone.
Will groaned, covering his face with his hands.
“I am not doing this again.”
“He thinks so, but isn’t totally sure,” Annabeth supplied.
“Mm. Tricky,” Percy grinned at Annabeth as he slipped his hand into hers.
“You guys suck,” Will complained.
“He’s bringing you a snack, though. That’s cute,” Annabeth said, grinning back at Percy. After all the years the other campers had teased them about not being together when they should’ve been, she figured a little payback couldn’t hurt.
“Definitely dating behavior,” Percy agreed.
“You two are the last people on Earth I am taking relationship advice from,” Will said, “I shouldn’t have let Percy in here.”
“But you did, so,” Percy said cheerfully.
“I can still kick you out,” Will threatened.
“You won’t though,” Annabeth said, squeezing Percy’s hand a little tighter, just in case. Will sighed dramatically.
“No, I won’t,” he said.
“So, what exactly is wrong with your ankle?” Percy asked. His conspiratorial grin had been replaced with a slight frown.
“It’s broken,” Will said, quick and blunt, presumably in an attempt to prevent Annabeth from sugar-coating it.
“You said fractured,” Annabeth protested. She was fully aware she was acting like a child right now, but she didn’t care.
“Yeah, that’s what fractured means. Broken,” Will said, clearly unwilling to indulge her.
Percy’s frown deepened.
“Do you need a cast?”
“Yes,” Will said, before Annabeth could answer.
“Go ahead,” Annabeth said, turning to Percy, “You can say it.”
“I’m not gonna say it,” Percy said innocently, though his lips were twitching.
“Just get it over with now, while I’m already humiliated,” Annabeth sighed.
“I don’t need to.”
“I know you want to say it, Percy. Just say it.”
“Say what?” Will asked.
“Told you so,” Annabeth and Percy said, in unison.
Will stared at them for a second. Then he said,
“You guys are weird.”
“I’ve been telling her to get it checked out for weeks,” Percy explained. Will raised his eyebrows.
“Should’ve listened to your boyfriend Chase, you might’ve shaved a week or two off the cast.”
“Told you so,” Percy said, unable to help himself.
“Shut up,” Annabeth grumbled.
Getting the actual cast on wasn’t as bad as Annabeth expected. It hurt like a bitch when Will straightened her ankle out so it wouldn’t heal crooked, but she had Percy’s fingers to squeeze through it all, which helped. The cast itself was itchy and miserable, but she had expected that.
“All done,” Will said, securing the last bit of fiberglass binding around her ankle. It was dark blue, because they hadn’t had black, and Annabeth figured it would look the least dirty over time. Also, she had a feeling Percy was going to want to doodle on it, and the darker the color the less likely it was anyone was going to notice whatever sharpie drawings he put on there.
“That wasn’t so bad,” Percy said, letting go of her hand for a second to massage the fingers she’d crushed. Annabeth sat up, swinging her legs around so they hung over the side of the bed.
“Yeah, but now I have to live with it,” Annabeth said glumly.
“You’ll get used to it,” Will promised.
Annabeth sighed. She had really put Will though it, for no other reason than she felt like being whiny. He was too nice for his own good.
“Thank you. For the cast, and for putting up with me today,” Annabeth said. Will shrugged, though he was smiling.
“Believe it or not, you weren’t the most hostile patient I’ve had this week. Also—” he turned around, digging around in the closet behind him. When he came back, he was holding crutches.
“Here’s your crutches,” Will said. Annabeth groaned.
“This sucks,” she said, for the third time that day.
“Sorry babe,” Percy said sympathetically.
Then his eyes narrowed, and he ducked down, pushing Annabeth’s shoulders down with him. Before she could even ask why, something whizzed over her head and smacked Will right in the chest.
“Ow!” Will exclaimed. He reflexively caught the projectile before it fell to the floor. It was a pack of crackers.
“Your snack,” Nico said, looking quite smug at having gotten Will back for nailing him with the medical tape earlier.
“Ooh, peanut butter,” Will ripped open the packaging, popping one of the crackers in his mouth.
“Wanna try out those crutches?” Percy asked, offering his hand to help Annabeth up. Annabeth did not want to try out her crutches, but she knew Percy had only said it as an excuse to get them out of the room, so Nico and Will could be alone. She sighed, relenting, and took his hand.
The crutches were harder to maneuver than she expected them to be. They also tired her arms out faster than she expected, so much that they barely made it to the porch of the big house before she had to take a break.
They sat down on the steps, which took a bit more effort than it should have, but Annabeth was still getting used to the bulkiness around her foot. Percy put his arm around her, and she leaned into his shoulder, sighing. She wished she could just stay there forever, and not have to deal with stupid crutches or stupid school or stupid anything else.
“You’re very grumpy today,” Percy noted. Annabeth just tucked herself deeper into his embrace.
“I have a right to be,” she said, voice slightly muffled by his shoulder. She felt his laughter in his chest, a nice steady vibration.
“I don’t mind. You’re cute when you’re grumpy,” Percy said, kissing her forehead for good measure.
“That’s mean,” Annabeth had to fight to keep a smile off her face.
“It’s true. I mean, you’re cute all the time, so I guess it’s nothing new,”
“All the time?” Annabeth challenged.
“All the time,” Percy confirmed.
“Even when I haven’t brushed my hair in three days because I forgot?”
“Even then,”
“Even when I’m snippy?”
“Yup,”
“Even when I’m pissed at you?”
“Ugh, you got me,” Percy said, with an exaggerated look of defeat, “You being pissed at me is more hot than cute.”
Annabeth couldn’t help but laugh at the goofy expression on his face.
“Sorry I’m in such a bad mood,” Annabeth sighed, when their laughter had diminished. Percy just shrugged.
“It’s alright. You earned it,” he said, nodding to her cast. Annabeth looked down at it glumly.
“It’s still going to be on when we start school,” Annabeth sighed.
“That’s okay. I’ll carry your books for you,” Percy promised.
“What if a monster attacks us? I’ll be useless.”
“They’ve probably learned by now to steer clear of us,” Percy said, “And even if they somehow haven’t, a stupid cast isn’t going to make you useless. You could get a really good whack in with those crutches.”
That made Annabeth laugh again, and somehow, miraculously, when she stopped her face didn’t automatically slide back into a frown. It was hard for her to stay gloomy around Percy when he was intentionally trying to cheer her up.
She pulled herself back a little, so she could see his face properly. He looked back at her, a little smile still playing at the corner of his lips.
“I love you,” Annabeth said. His little smile grew into a full-blown grin.
“I love you too.”

Okay so Joan and Tylan didn't usually do this but this time it needed to be done
So Thomas had given them a key to the apartment in case they wanted to visit or if it was an emergency
And they never really used the key since neither of them really wanted to scare the life out of Thomas since he's forgetful and probably forgot he even gave them that key
After a bit of walking they finally made it to Thomas's apartment Joan carefully inserted the key and walked inside with Tylan
And neither of them believed what they were seeing
Standing there was Thomas being scolded by and talking to a man with a red leather coat
He looked like he had just returned from a fight and was currently cooking something on the Thomas's stove
Thomas was standing to the side with a rare serious expression "you need a nice bath and to relax"
But the man didn't turn away from the stove "First off this is relaxing. Second of all you need to eat more then just sugar! You will eat this burger and salad!"
Joan and Tylan entered a state of confusion he sounded just like Thomas expect less childish
Thomas shook his head and had a small pout "I will not go a single inch near that salad! And besides it'll help you Rose"
Joan and Tylan freezed
This was Rose? The friend from another universe? What?
"Not really I've told you I enjoy the mundane tasks around the house Tea" Rose spoke with a knowing tone like he's done this before
But Thomas never took no for an answer especially when it came to his friends well being so he just huffed "I know but you look like a mess"
They could hear the smirk in Rose's voice as he spoke "like my life"
This caused a reaction out of Thomas seeing as he huffed again and raised his voice just a bit higher than he usually would "No!"
And at that response Rose just chuckled "Dude, you've seen my sides, hell, my creativity made you cry by shapeshifting into Joan and bringing out his tentacles. My personality is a mess, like my creativity has PTSD, how does that even work?"
And as Rose spoke Thomas's expression went from serious to worried and a slight uneasy look and he just shrugged not really knowing what to say
Suddenly Rose stopped cooking and looked over at Thomas "Tea, it's OK. I might be unable to go home for long but I get to meet people like you and Blake. The twins are OK. The realm of Creativity is an amazing garden and while the old kingdom is in ruins and overgrown, it's still full of life. My sides work with what happened. So do I. I know you get worried about me but I'm OK you don't need to"
Thomas gave a nod but he still held a slight uneasy look and held his arms as he spoke in a quiet voice "I...I just care about you alot and want you to be alright" Thomas was never one to try and hide his care for his friends
Rose simply shook his head seemingly trying to figure something out "I will never understand why you and Blake care so much. I just....Appeared. The twins just appeared. Yet you try so hard to care for me. I'm only a blip in the universe. Shouldn't even be here, yet you care and leave your door open...Take the twins so they can hang out with the little ones..."
Thomas gave a tiny sigh "I care because your my friend throughout my life I've learned to care for people especially my friends I want to make sure my friends are happy and let them know that I care and will always be here for them"
Rose smiled at him "you're a great person Tea. I wish I was more like you. More caring" those words made Thomas have a small blush he always got easily flustered if something good about him was said "You're a great person too Rose"
Rose just snorted "hardly" then he suddenly turned around and froze upon seeing Joan and Tylan standing there
And they both weren't far behind either
Rose looked exactly like Thomas expect he was much more tall and looked more tired
It filled them with confusion
Thomas huffed and looked confused as to why Rose froze until he turned his head and suddenly he lit up "Hi guys!"
There were a few moments of silence before Rose gave a small chuckle
"Well, this is as helpful as fucking a cactus. Fan-fucking-tastic."
Upon hearing those words Joan immediately snapped out of their confused state and yelled "Hey! Don't say that infront of Thomas!"
And Rose gave a shit eating as he leaned on his arms "which one?"
This just sent Joan back into a state of confusion and Tylan was currently pointing at Rose and Thomas looking puzzled all the while Rose was laughing at them
Joan was really trying to get over this confusion and tried another attempt "Thomas Sanders"
But Rose just yelled out "Present!" Then he started laughing even harder almost falling over
Joan had somehow forgotten that Thomas- their Thomas was in the room until they heard a huff "don't be mean to them!"
And Rose who was still laughing threw his hands up and give a small smile "Sorry Sweet Tea, I forgot they're not my best friend.... "
"oh"
Meanwhile Joan was questioning why Thomas was being called Sweet Tea instead of his actual name "Sweet Tea?"
Rose chuckled and turned back to stove and started to cook again "It gets confusing with all the Thomas I run into, it's also hard with the sides so I come up with nicknames. I'm so use to being called Rose I sometimes forget about Thomas. Sweet Tea is because this guy is way to cute"
Joan just stared and was questioning so many things "other Thomas's?"
Tylan wasn't even focused on the conversation as they were too busy snickering at Thomas as he blushed and flapped his sweater sleeves around
Rose simply shrugged at Joan's question "hungry? I'm making burgers and salad and Tea! You will eat the salad because you can't live off of sugar!"
It wasn't a surprise that Thomas pouted and stomped his feet a little "No no no! I won't eat it!"
"Tea come on! Just eat the dang salad dude!" "Nu!"
This went on for a few minutes the two just going back and forth arguing and in the end Rose won
"hmpf" Thomas pouted he wasn't happy but that disappeared quickly as another conversation was started up
"Sooo Tea how are the Twins doing with their dragons parts?" "I'm sorry what?"
Rose looked back at Joan for a moment before looking at Thomas "They don't know?" "Know what?" "It's supposed to be a secret" "wait you've been hiding something from us?!"
Hearing that Rose turned around and faced Joan again with a grin "congratulations you have just found out that my Twins accidentally turned Tea's Twins into dragons"
Joan looked at Thomas with realization "wait is that why you own cat toys? And also those dragons that I saw were Roman and Remus?!"
Thomas nodded and even looked a little guilty "yeah...sorry for not telling you I was told to keep it a secret" and Joan sighed not bearing to look at Thomas be upset. Thomas always listened to things he was told they couldn't blame him even if they wanted to "it's fine Thomas just try not to hide something too big next time" "okie dokie!"
Rose was about to say something else when suddenly two Twins came up
One wore black and red with heeled boots and had a cape and the other had ruffles on his shoulders and wrist they were both tall
They were holding Ro and Re who in turn were hugging them and were giving them fond looks
"Uhh what?" "Roman Remus-"
The pair looked at Rose and held Ro and Re closer "OURS!" And as quickly as they came they sunk out and left
The was silence again before Rose spoke up "well....they where just kidnapped. I'll let you know when they're back"
Joan was expecting to see Thomas freak out or even seem a bit concerned but no Thomas just giggled and nodded as if this happened everyday
"Thomas aren't you even a little worried about Ro and Re?" Thomas just looked at Joan still smiling "nope! The Twins love to hangout with Rose's Twins they even call them their big brothers it's so cute!" "it still surprises me that they even got along in the first place"
Joan let out a sigh they had no idea about any of this stuff and they were one of Thomas's closes friends there was so much information that needed to be taken in
They must been loud since when they looked back up Thomas was looking at them with concern "Joan? Are-" "I'm fine Thomas just...this is alot to take in right now. The others think that what you were saying was just your imagination and not actually real" "I am very real thank you very much"
Joan was at a words loss due to all the confusion so they decided to not say anything
Nothing was said for a few minutes the only sounds that were heard was Thomas making sound effects and spinning around and having to sit down because he got dizzy and was almost scolded by Joan and Rose for wanting to get up and spin around again
"The foods done anyway" Rose spoke as he put two plates down in front of Thomas one had a burger and the other had a salad with vegetables (except for carrot's of course)
"so-" Rose paused the bitter look on Thomas's face while he stared at the salad was very noticeable and Rose was having none of that
"Tea your gonna eat that salad"
Thomas's response was to push the salad forward not pushing it off the table but pushing it away from him only for Rose to push it right back infront of him which made Thomas whine "I don't want to" "well your gonna have to now eat"
Thomas stared at Rose for a few moments before getting up from his chair and running "Tea! Get-" Rose didn't even finish his sentence before Joan had already caught caught Thomas and held him in the air "Really Thomas? Your almost the size of a midget you know you can't run" Thomas's only response was to whine and struggle against Joan in an attempt to get free and run away again and ultimately failed
He grumbled as he was put back in the chair and this time couldn't run away since both Rose and Joan were blocking his way he responded by crossing his arms and pouted
Rose sighed "Tea your my friend and all but it's like I'm talking to a child most of time" which only made Thomas pout even more
Minutes passed and still nothing no one moved knowing one wrong move would send Thomas running away again
He kept looking for a way to try and leave he even tried to crawl under the table only to pulled right back up
The silence was starting to become unbearable until finally Thomas caved in and grabbed the fork and started eating the salad with a bitter look
Joan patted his back and Rose grinned at him "see? told you it wasn't that bad" which only made Thomas huff in response
Rose just smiled and turned away "welp I think it's time I get going it was nice seeing ya Tea I'll come get the Twins in a few hours" Rose spoke as he opened up a portal and began to walk through and waved "bye Tea bye Tylan bye Joan"
Everyone waved as Rose walked through the portal
But quickly Rose poked his head through the portal again "Also Joan make sure Tea finishes the salad and burger okay thank you bye!" And went back through
Joan nodded and was about to turn back to Thomas when suddenly he made another run for it and this time Joan didn't catch him in time
"Thomas get back here!" "No!"

Eep, first month of 2017 is over and I only have three months until I have IB exams and I’m done grade 12! This is very terrifying and I hope my brain survives the trip. So before it can be fried, let’s see what I’ve managed to do this month.
Blog Achievements:
168 followers, given my hiatus I’m pretty proud. Still reaching for 200 though
I tried to figure out how many posts I did…too many? More than 20 this time that’s for sure.
Nearly 200 views this month!
I started up a Bookstagram! (that I shouldn’t have cause I have no time for a social life as it is, but now I’m addicted soooo) Do check it out though: Instagram
Books Read:

DNF: Real by Katy Evans Friday Favourites: I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings – Maya Angelou
Reviews To Come:
Favourite:
I mean how could this not be? It wrecked my world and I have still not recovered properly. I don’t like book hangovers. But do I continue to fine books that give me them? Yes. Of course. Because they come from imaginations I would love to pick through.
Least Favourite:
It’s a DNF. That says it all really.
Currently Reading:
#gallery-0-24 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-24 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 50%; } #gallery-0-24 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-24 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
February TBR:
Obviously going to have to say King’s Cage and Gilded Cage as they were in my anticipated releases for this month.
Otherwise? That’s a very good question. Hopefully some of the books I have sitting on my bookshelf on the moment that really need reading, so I’ll put them here.
#gallery-0-25 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-25 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 33%; } #gallery-0-25 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-25 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
What’s going onto your TBR list right now? I know the list obviously big haha, but what are the most imminent reads. Any recommendations?
Favourite Posts:
Uhh, let me see. That’s hard this time around.
To Them, From Us: Yes this one definitely makes the list of favourites. It was a poem inspired by a friend while at school along with the daily prompt from daily post. I really like the progression this poem took and the format to boot. Plus, that title though! And for me I generally despise titles so I’m still pretty proud of this one. Not sure about the poem itself though since I’ve avoided going back and reading it…
Cover Reveal: A Court Of Wings And Ruin by Sarah J Maas: It’s the cover reveal. How could I not be obsessed. So in love. What are your thoughts on the ACOWAR cover?
Disney’s New Movie Moana: Because this movie is still amazing and no way do I listen to the entire playlist on repeat almost every day of the week…I’m a liar. BEST MOVIE EVER. I’m nearly eighteen and I have no shits to give, Disney is life.
Life:
Well…I finished off my first semester exams on Tuesday. English was great, surprisingly. Advanced Functions was done before the break, got the grade back and was very proud of myself though. Bio…let’s not talk about bio.
Anyways, the entirety of what that means is really hitting me now. I have exactly three months until IB exams in May and then my time as a high school senior is over. Holy shit people. That’s insane. That is not enough time to re-learn chemistry. So screwed. Plus, prom dress. Shit. Shopping. Awesome, but terrifying. I’m gonna go read and cry now because this is just as exciting as it is stressful. I spent the entirety of today being a bum and doing jack all because I don’t want to. I have an essay due on the 6th though so I really need to get my butt in gear. Instead of course I’m blogging.
Anyways, not much is going on at the moment. I guess.
I finished up my last session with my counsellor, we went out for lunch together. It was really nice and the closure was an excellent step in the right direction for me.
Bookstagram is slowly going to take over my life. I can feel it. I already had my moment of walking down my hall and noticing the light was hitting the ledge perfectly for a picture. I proceeded to do a bookstagram shoot. I’m obsessed. Curse you Michelle and Emilie.
What did January have in store for you guys? Any resolutions still in place? I’m just slightly avoiding mine, as always, procrastination runs deep. Let me know!
Until next time,
Shayla
