don’t hate me for this but i lowkey think that the people that hate gale read thg as a love story
#like sure love is a guiding force in the series and one could argue the POINT of the books#that love is the greatest threat to the oppressor#but ultimately it isn’t about katniss falling into or out of love with anyone#the books are about liberation and gale is a revolutionary whether you like it or not#not to mention he is guided by love too!! for katniss sure but also his family and the everdeen and his district#the hunger games#gale hawthorne#gale and katniss#the mockingjay#catching fire#suzanne collins#katniss everdeen#also!!#gales love is a liberating force#and if you don’t like him i think you didn’t understand the point of the books
