#practicing for the solar lunacy bind#gotta get that muscle memory#bookbinding#like it says in the text i think ive mixed up a few steps but even with that its turning out pretty solid!!#i have a gilding kit on the way for lettering too but DEFINITELY need practice with hand lettering#but thats what all this is for so we all good#im excited for it to be done tbh#it actually looks not awful!!#also gonna print off some smaller works to practice signature sewing & text blocks but thats after ive got the hang of the covers methinks#!!!!!! im kinda stoked actually!!!#the book is called an elegy for easterly#though its not one ive actually read myself my mum plans to read it when im finished
